2 points 1st thank you for your service.i could tell you were an old salt even before you said sailor for life 2nd the real world struggle was worth the watch just for the warning value and instructions
Simplicity works, and they have made you happier , if you can , fill your kayak hull up with pool noodles it will make the kayak unsinkable you will feel even more safe
As I've gotten older, I've had more and more anxiety/panic issues on the water. I found your video here by accident, and is comforting to see I'm not the only one. You had me hooked when you mentioned your anxiety. Thank you for being honest and upfront here! Your review has given me more confidence in getting out there.
It’s made all the difference in the world for me in using this kayak. Never a concern of flipping, including wind gusts and boat wakes, and can relax while out there. I hope you’ve had a chance to check them out.
Great review. Thank you for this, I appreciate you! I just bought a used fishing kayak (Lifetime Teton 100 angler) and was looking at these and similar brands. It's a good kayak but not the most stable, and I'd like some peace of mind to know I'm not going to flip out there. I also fish a few areas where I have to enter the boat via a dock, and it's so easy to flip while getting in and out. I like that the crossbars and hardware are all metal. And if those floats ever deteriorate then you could probably get some foam floats and PVC joints to replace them with (or just buy replacement inflatable floats). A little pricier than a DIY option but you get less headaches and anxiety in return so I guess it's worth it!
Did they continue to loose air? There are others made of plastic I might buy for son who fell out of his in cold water and air was about 35 degrees. Thank you for the test! November 29, 2023
The wind picked up just before I came across and the stabilizers really added peace of mind. I wouldn’t have even been able to lean over and unsnag your lure otherwise. Glad it worked out. 👍🏾 🎣
I know…I know… 🫤 I’ve been wanting and meaning to but life kept getting in the way. I’ve had to prioritize income over hobbies. I retired early this year so hopefully that means I’ll have more time and energy to make more videos. Just need a couple more things to line up. Thank you for the encouraging words though. It means a lot and I appreciate it. 👍🏾
Used mine over 20 times. Mounted at rear. No paddle interference. Great stability for the money. On 14’ oldtown twin heron canoe.
I would have liked to be able to mount mine further back. Definitely great stability.

Glad to see you're doing more reviews again! I really like your straight-forward and informative way of explaining things.
I appreciate that and hope to do more in 2022.
Great video, thanks for letting us in on your journey. Looking forward to using my pontoon system.
Thanks and I hope you enjoy!

Thanks and I absolutely agree with you 100%. Have fun out there and be safe.
Glad you feel safer
Great to see you doing another informative review!
Thanks much. Got plans for more reviews and content in 2022, Lord-willing.
Loved the starboard and port trick to remember.
Helped me get around my ship. 👍🏾
My outriggers are on the way and thanx so much for the heads up on paddling interference range
My pleasure.

No. They stay inflated for the most part.
Hey drew, great video. I like the inflatable kayak. Good review. Can't wait to check out a few more videos.
Thanks but thankfully it’s just the pontoons that are inflatable. The kayak is hard plastic.
Tight lines. 👊🏾🎣
Those looked like they really worked when you help me get my lure back!

Been looking at getting these for when I fish off the beach. It gets pretty sketchy a mile off the beach down in Galveston.
Did you get them? Definitely can imagine them being useful in those waters.
@@drewsoutdoorreviews not yet. I’m still trying to get used to my kayak without them.
No new videos in the past couple of years? I just found your channel and enjoyed the useful reviews and tips.

I would figure some pipe straps from Home Depot would work. Shaped more for this application than what comes with it.
Probably. Just more work but I know that’s not an issue for everyone.
You should have sprayed water on the pipe to put the floaters on it
Yeah.
Should have put a washer under the rivet head.
@@JohnLee-ud2gm they’re kayak rivets that include rubber gaskets. Never had any leaks.
@@drewsoutdoorreviews Oh ok my bad.May want to put something over the rod in center of kayak to help prevent the rod moving.Just extra stability.
For future reference. An impact driver is really not a drill.
You still don't have the bar installed right across the back. It should swoop down toward the outriggers.
It adjusts fine once underway.
It would help if you read the instructions . They still aren’t on correctly.
They work fine.
Oh my God, get someone else
