Swatting needs to be treated WORSE than a DWI. There were just a couple deaths because of a head on collision with a SWAT vehicle rushing to a hoax.. woman and child died, I believe. Just last week. No excuse. No bond. Disgusting.
Swatting absolutely needs to be treated at much higher level. Not only the reasons you provided, but because it is a huge risk to the person being swatted. Especially if they do not know they are being swatted. Shit can go sideways or get out of hand so quickly.
Cops should also not run red lights or stop signs before slowing down a little momentarily to glance both ways. I hear about way too many deadly crashes. Sure, anecdotes can be misleading when determining how often something happens, but even one innocent death blatantly caused by an emergency vehicle’s extreme speeding combined with running red lights is too much and inexcusable. I’ve witnessed emergency personnel expertly handle red lights with skill, still speeding to the scene but blasting their horns when nearing an intersection and momentarily slowing while glancing both ways before again slamming on the accelerator. Doing so should be mandated by every department. Sure, every second counts during some emergencies, but if the vehicle runs a red light and slams into a random citizen, then they won’t ever reach the scene, and killing a random person would presumably severely traumatize the emergency vehicle’s driver forever, not to mention any other survivors of a severe crash.
IMAO fr that's fricked up now one should ever do that you should be in cuffs in a cell instantly no one accepts that it's not okay that's disgusting behavior!!!
Here too. Cops will use two cars for red lights here. One blares sirens and stops in lane to alert on coming traffic to stop. When it does the second speed through. It's super easy to follow and understand what they are doing. @@soberserotonin1850

@asdfdsf-s4u she put someone else's life at risk(and yes people have died to swattings) and you think she didn't deserve it. How would you feel if your family had guns pointing at them because someone else was "bored"?
So the reality is Ashley Corbin called the cops like 10 times in one day trying to swat someone she didn’t like by saying he was shooting everywhere wildly, then she later gets arrested and brought to the police station. The fake reality she cooked up that night was that she was actually a brain-surgeon named Lindsey who reported a real crime and somehow successfully agreed to get $1500 dollars from a fine that the criminal would pay, though she was later wrongfully arrested under false charges, also apparently getting raped under a bridge and in an elevator by the two officers who arrested her. Those are some insanely different realities lol
No the reality is that Elmer Fudd is still on the loose and this brave woman was trying to protect Bugs the Bunny who is currently missing. Wake up people!
Even the dog didn’t want to be around her it broke loose!! That had me in stitches 😂😂😂😂 she’s holding him for dear life hoping the dog doesn’t run away from her again. Poor dog.

This! Literally this! It's criminal and has potentially fatal consequences. Anyone caught 'swatting' someone ought to be charged with attempted murder.
Turns out she had been previously arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, got the police into a pursuit, and also caused minor injuries to the officers arresting her. I believe she was on bail awaiting her trial while this happened. So she has a history of being very intoxicated.

her behavior reminds me of how I was during my episodes of psychosis. everything in those moments feel extremely real and even though people think you're lying or exaggerating, that's just how you're perceiving reality. " you broke my arm" to her probably just means her arm was hurt really bad and she can't comprehend how bad it was hurt. and she doesn't really know what happened to her arm and her brain spewed out those words. I've been in moments like those where when they tell you that's not what happened or you're acting crazy. you just doubled down and it gets worse. but when they agree or apologize or went along with it, I usually calmed down and realize that's not what happened
still giving her the benefit of the doubt with this psychosis theory her claiming that they raped her (she seemed very adamant like they really should have believed her) could have been her confusing a past event with the present. if she's having dramatic breaks she would think that violent things are happening currently.
yeah.. it really makes me wonder what her life has been like, I've had a friend that was in a pretty bad state like this, and she would end up basically gaslighting herself to believe things happened that never did, it is really scary how the brain can do that :,) (this obviously doesn't make her behavior okay in the slightest) but it does make me sad, this person really needs some help
i feel like her lies were too grounded in reality to be psychosis… i mean the only psychosis i went through was after taking too much Benadryl and i couldn’t answer questions, like the doctor asked me when i took the meds and i started saying “before the queens of england…” and then i forgot my train of thought and said “cos i use the queen of england as a time marker” and the doctor legit started to laugh (he couldn’t keep a straight face longer)

We always blame the people that call in swats but never the police? For killing people who were literally innocent?
IMAO fr that's fricked up now one should ever do that you should be in cuffs in a cell instantly no one accepts that it's not okay that's disgusting behavior!!!

So the reality is Ashley Corbin called the cops like 10 times in one day trying to swat someone she didn’t like by saying he was shooting everywhere wildly, then she later gets arrested and brought to the police station. The fake reality she cooked up that night was that she was actually a brain-surgeon named Lindsey who reported a real crime and somehow successfully agreed to get $1500 dollars from a fine that the criminal would pay, though she was later wrongfully arrested under false charges, also apparently getting raped under a bridge and in an elevator by the two officers who arrested her. her behavior reminds me of how I was during my episodes of psychosis. everything in those moments feel extremely real and even though people think you're lying or exaggerating, that's just how you're perceiving reality.
Exactly what I was thinking. She definitely was having some sort of episode here.
i feel like her lies were too grounded in reality to be psychosis… i mean the only psychosis i went through was after taking too much Benadryl and i couldn’t answer questions, like the doctor asked me when i took the meds and i started saying “before the queens of england…” and then i forgot my train of thought and said “cos i use the queen of england as a time marker” and the doctor legit started to laugh (he couldn’t keep a straight face longer)
