    Thanks for explaining again why to keep the sway bar. All you have to do it try it both ways a few times to see why you keep it on. So many people think they know. Same thing on my Doo, it may be easier to get on edge with the bar off, but the sled overall is much harder to ride that way. I got the quick disconnect but I never ever use it anymore under any circumstances.

    If you only had the budget to upgrade either the front or rear shocks, which would be more beneficial or notice more?

    • @daylonvasquez9240
      @daylonvasquez9240 5 років тому

      Kody depends on what issues you are having that makes you want to upgrade in the first place

    • @daylonvasquez9240
      @daylonvasquez9240 5 років тому

      For me, I upgraded the fronts first to help me keep my line, then upgraded the rear once my rear start bottoming out

      You could go all 4 in the Float 3 Evol pkg they sold last yr. (Not sure if they have again or not).

    Love what you guys are doing. Trying to ride a AC this year after 5 seasons on a RMK. One thing i have noticed about the AC hardcore is how great the fox QS3s work on it. From this I know I will definitely put aftermarket shocks on my next Axys. Thanks again for so much helpful information.

    What main/evol pressures do you run and common pressure adjustments?

    Just want to say thanks for this podcast. I ride a '19 Alpha One and I now have way more appreciation and understanding for the QS3's on it already. Bought the AC only because the AC dealer here in Whitehorse has taken such good care of me. However it was riding a buddies '17 RMK Pro that made me realize I was riding wrong sled before. I'm planning on riding with you guys at Grizzly Lodge spring 2021...

    Can you give me some advice on a couple things from when you use to ride the older m- series?

    Backround:
    - backlit signature centered on the wall with light grey sponsor logo's surrounding it.
    - start putting damaged parts around as a collage

    So do you guys not adjust air pressure in the morning...??? I was always told you have to adjust air pressure to the temperature outside

    I made it to minute 49 and have a quick question! My '19 alpha one cat 154 comes with the Qs3 which work pretty well. However they have no rebound adjustment. I find everytime I jump its nose high and need to tap the brake to level out. How can I get more pop out of the rear end for jumping?? Thanks guys keep the wikid podcasts coming!!

      What’s awesome about the cat m8000 Is you can cut the tunnel off and slap the bumper back on and your good to go.

    • @Zeesneakyninja
      @Zeesneakyninja 5 років тому

      Wouldn’t be able to use any other sled other than my pro rmk tho, I’ve tried everything else and it doesn’t handle like i want.

      Zeesneakyninja cat tunnels are already shorter than the track from factory.

    Could you use nitrogen in the floats shocks so the pressure stays the same with warmer or colder weather

    • @daahoo
      @daahoo 5 років тому

      The air you pump in to the shock is already 78% nitrogen so it would not make much of a difference.

    Great podcast as always and I followed your advise and left comment here on UA-cam since its easier for your guys. I listened as always even though I don't ride in the mountains. I must say that Chris B. is very knowledgeable on suspension setup. The whole "hard" vs. "soft" and "slow" vs. "fast" was very interesting perspective.

    Hi, awesome podcast again!
    I run an 850 3 "with QS3 What is your recommendation regarding air pressure? -230 pounds riderweight
    Ski?
    Center?
    Rear Bogie?
    100% mountain
    Is it possible to upgrade rebuild to IQS? thanks for the reply/

    Do you set up suspension the same on a turbo sled as you would a stock sled?

  • @troydaniel9104
    @troydaniel9104 5 років тому

    So to clarify for qs3’s keep it on 1 for pow then lock it out In the back for going uphill..

    • @Novembrr
      @Novembrr 5 років тому

      Troy Daniel you might like 2 for deepest snow to make it slower is what I think I got from it. Lock out the back to keep the front down when going up a hill.

    The QS3 pachage comes on the stock Arctic Cat 2018 and newer... just saying...

    • @JasonMcMurray
      @JasonMcMurray 5 років тому

      Ya I hear ya on that but... the stock cat Qs3 only have single stage air (spring) rate, and no rebound adjustment which sucks! Don't get me wrong I love the 3 settings on the Qs3 but i really wish there was a rebound adjustment. I find when jumping its nose high everytime I jump. any suggestions?

    Luckily I’m the same weight as Chris so I can basically copy what he has. I’ve been using fox’s chart to adjust my evol3 r’s on my 15’ pro rmk. Wondering what air pressure he is using in both chambers? Also ive been using a qs3 from an m8000 for my front track shock and that thing is awesome, put it on “1” and I can climb super strap stuff and on “3” it just rips wheelies.

    Lots of talk but very little technical speak, some of use like more technical material. You should have had big Kyle (me) on there for the technical end!
    You know what you need to do next after the little Kyle episode. ---> Why you think guys like Big Kyle don't need these heavy 270 hp+ machines.
