O_O wow,there really are a lot of elements in here,from the guttural narrative(or something) to acoustic breakdowns and impressive riffage,i think it all ties down something quite fucking brilliant.amazing:D
@edgekrusher20 They're 2 completely different styles... Necrophagist have the very note/scale oriented arpeggio licks, these guys are implementing more melodies.
no se q piensen ustedes pero para mi gorod es una de las bandas mas chingonas de technical death metal q existen si no me creen escuchense disavow your god esa rola si rompe culos (Y)
I love this band, now I ca be proud of being french xD and thanx to Christian Muenzner, my favourite guitarist and guitar teacher, who told me from this band ^^
@jorgex2000 there is no opinion, bullet is playing metalcore, thats a fact, and metalcore is metal with hardcore influences, thats another fact, so bullet is more hardcore than this song, which is techdeath i never said it would be a masterpiece, it is just a genius piece of art, almost every song out there is a genius piece of art, every song in it's own way.
Haha, Cookie Monster was a big influence for a lot of us growing up. I understand what you're saying, these kind of vocals really weren't my thing (I didn't like them at all). What I've come to realize, is that the voice is simply just another instrument; there are some styles of this kind of vocals I still cannot stand, but certain applications and styles have grown on me. Remember also that music is an ever changing and evolving art form, and being an art form it is subjective in nature.
not just canadian, they're French Canadian...as in from Quebec...the only province in canada that speaks french (not real french lol quebecuois french...we all have to learn basic french in elementry school but they actually speak it as a first language there) still even if u think they rn't french...u have to admit they're incredible musicians.
Pig squeals and gutturals are ok when you get used to them. I still gotta admit that on this particular record they kinda try too hard to be brutal. Many bands are this way on their debut. But then again look where Gorod have gone with their sound: their music is more melodic nowadays and the band themselves have become more mature, their taste has evolved (they even released an EP with a flamenco-like track on it). 'Process of a New Decline' album is a must-listen (if not a must-have) for me.
67sepultura sounds confused about his identity,he said he likes good vocals but ignored the principle of good tech death/death vocals,are you a musician?have ever written you're own album?
@jorgex2000 you are completely wrong, this type of metal is too much "death" for you, bullet is way closer to "hardcore" than this genius piece of art because they play metalcore, not techdeath
@67Sepultura67 Are you kidding? Death Metal vocals are a shit load of work, especially when you do them without messing up your voice. I've been singing and doing Death Metal vocals for three years, not as long as most, but they're both very difficult in their own ways. Not in a million years can you throw anyone on stage with no singing experience and expect them to have Rob Halford's range. Same thing for metal. Throw a random person on stage and expect these vocals? Never.
@666ados666 i just have an opinion and i think thats what the comments are for... and besides i never said anything about them not being"front runners" for tech death or anything. I only said Guitar is Amazing, don't like the vocals... Some people should learn tolerance... not everyone has the same likes.
drums were recorded bad but the song is incredible. Not saying the drums are bad... because they are solid, its just bad production and bad drum mics, but man this song is creative.
@94hourstilAHIG Well everyone has a diff taste... some people don't like anything to do with Rock at all... i myself find the vocals in this song annoying. I'd like vocals more like Killswitch Engage, Bullet for my Valentine. I guess this type of metal is too "hardcore" for me.
@daKollmann No, I'm not wrong because having an opinion does not make what i say wrong. I think the way the singers sings sucks... Besides this is not anywhere near to being a masterpiece, not because i dont like it because its just not :)
the music is totally badass. but does this band have any songs where the singing is just a little better? a 12 year old girl could make this voice, its not very badass. its cookiemonster
Just found out about this band 8 minutes ago and they have been the best 8 minutes of my day so far..
this is the single most metal song to ever grace this planet with its presence
O_O wow,there really are a lot of elements in here,from the guttural narrative(or something) to acoustic breakdowns and impressive riffage,i think it all ties down something quite fucking brilliant.amazing:D
This is my favorite band, the second i heard them i couldn't stop listening! And this is damn sick
@edgekrusher20 They're 2 completely different styles... Necrophagist have the very note/scale oriented arpeggio licks, these guys are implementing more melodies.
This solo fucking owns!!! I just found out about this band like last night, and they're already one of my new favorite bands.
I love the singing. I think it makes a lot of sense to have lyrics. I completely understand everything. 5 stars
one of the best albums ever...EVER!!!
no se q piensen ustedes pero para mi gorod es una de las bandas mas chingonas de technical death metal q existen si no me creen escuchense disavow your god esa rola si rompe culos (Y)

@Sharktasm Agreed, I fuckin love Necrophagist! These guys are great too! All hail the universal love of brutal metal!
I love this band, now I ca be proud of being french xD and thanx to Christian Muenzner, my favourite guitarist and guitar teacher, who told me from this band ^^
Sickest intro
@BrutalEpicMetal
though I did listen to it blazed out of my mind. I meant to leave a comment about it, but I forgot.
4:52 This part destroyed my cervical spine.
I want compensation.
very awsome band ;D
long life to death metal!!!!
Ô.Ô my eyes when the guitar came in, just found a great band
Once it was, but they got a new dude now.
@Sharktasm Not since they lost Christian Muenzner. He pretty much makes or a breaks every tech death band he's been in.
cant say ive ever heard of a band called benighted:P what are they like?
@jorgex2000 there is no opinion, bullet is playing metalcore, thats a fact, and metalcore is metal with hardcore influences, thats another fact, so bullet is more hardcore than this song, which is techdeath
i never said it would be a masterpiece, it is just a genius piece of art, almost every song out there is a genius piece of art, every song in it's own way.
oh and if anyone knows a song by them that has better singing plz link it. because i do not have the patience to look, maybe a newer album idk
Haha, Cookie Monster was a big influence for a lot of us growing up.

@distributorofpain666 idk about that but yea , awesomeness lol
Next time you get stoned listen to that riff at the beginning and tell me if it isn't the most amazing thing you've ever heard. \m/ !!!!
@distributorofpain666 for me it is vaaaaaader , when darkness calls
The guitar work is good :)
But how do you understand them? What are the lyrics?
Let's not forget Gojira.
yeah
not just canadian, they're French Canadian...as in from Quebec...the only province in canada that speaks french (not real french lol quebecuois french...we all have to learn basic french in elementry school but they actually speak it as a first language there)
still even if u think they rn't french...u have to admit they're incredible musicians.
Quo vadis and Martyr are from Quebec.
@moto557Si i thought they were italian
Oh wow, I haven't heard a troll compare metal vocals to cookie monster since my first youtube account back in like 07
Don't get so hung up on the inaudible vocals. I know this is a crazy idea but how about listening to music for the music?
dont forget about gojira, they are solid and french!

death metal Cacophony?
@Pattyman04 umm i dont think soo?
@brutallittlefucker if you dont already know about gojira then i highly suggest you check them out ;)
67sepultura sounds confused about his identity,he said he likes good vocals but ignored the principle of good tech death/death vocals,are you a musician?have ever written you're own album?
the guitar solo is imense xD
@BHVampireLF te recomiendo necrophagist si te gusto esta banda con ellos te cagas... XD
@BrutalEpicMetal
I'm totally sober and I can tell you that.
@jorgex2000
you are completely wrong,
this type of metal is too much "death" for you, bullet is way closer to "hardcore" than this genius piece of art because they play metalcore, not techdeath
is he growling in french?
@67Sepultura67 Are you kidding? Death Metal vocals are a shit load of work, especially when you do them without messing up your voice. Voice sounds exactly like a french Glen Benton (Deicide)
@edgekrusher20 Doubt it
drums were recorded bad but the song is incredible. Not saying the drums are bad... because they are solid, its just bad production and bad drum mics, but man this song is creative.
@BHVampireLF Lol xD
2:54 - 3:30 - lets just remove the "ro" in Gorod
the lead singer sounds like glen benton. which isn't a bad thing.
gorods drummer is female!?
@jorgex2000 so do you actually know anything about Tech death .... Nope
read my comment....that's what.
wtf WAT
@MrBlukron1k Well, i've come to the conclusion that vocals suck in this type of music... so yeah i think i know little bit.
New one is a guy.
@daKollmann No, I'm not wrong because having an opinion does not make what i say wrong. I think the way the singers sings sucks... Besides this is not anywhere near to being a masterpiece, not because i dont like it because its just not :)

In my opinion the singing here its horrible , it doesnt even sound good. Guitar is pretty amazing thought but his voice sucks...
