Since you have been doing the Emily Awards so long and there are those time over time winners, maybe next year you could create a new category, or work in some way in each category a "Lifetime Achievement" winner in each category. where those all time long time favorites can get a special mention.

As a youtuber grows so does their budget.. A lot of youtubers I loved now have favorites that are super expensive and not affordable for a lot.. I love the fact that you have genuine favorites of the year in every price range!! Thank u :)

I always appreciate when you address products for "aging" skin. Being over 40 I'm definitely seeing and not appreciating the wrinkles/fine lines all around the eyes. Most UA-camrs are half my age so many products just don't work the same on my skin. Maybe later in the year (later later in 2017) you could do a series for us "mature" women, maybe your Mom can join you again! I am a young Grandma of two and feeling pretty underwhelmed with my makeup these days. I'm caught between the too much and/or not enough makeup. Meaning, if I wear too much, I look like I'm painted up, yet I look washed out if I don't wear enough. Sorry I'm rambling now. :D Was so excited to see these awards early this year! I can't imagine the work you put into it! Thank you for doing what you do and doing it so well! I do pull the lists every year and store them in my phone so if I'm looking for something specific I can consult the list. I got my hair cut recently, about your length now. Yes!!! I love the Milani Eye pallets. The earthy elements is my fave! Love me some warm colors! I have pretty much every pallet and primer that that comes out and that Milani primer is the real deal!
I think ABH put out some fantastic eyeshadow palettes this and I am a little disappointed they are not on the list. Completely agree with having Scandaleyes on the list. it has become my go to eyeliner from your recommendations. I need to pick up that Shade and Light palette but I really enjoy the Sonia Kashuk matte palette.
I get Emily's reason for not including it though. I bet it is really tough to only pick 10 items. we will just say the Mario palette or MR was #11... haha
I literally must be the only person who didn't love the mattes in the kat von d metal matte palette. I loved the metals but returned the palette because I found too many mattes hard to blend, looked patchy. The sales person at sephora suggested it was cause I needed new brushes. No, I do freelance makeup and I have a good 15 to 20 eye brushes, and good quality. I don't want to have to 'make' a palette work. I don't have time in the morning for that, and I have mattes that I believe are better. Too faced natural matte is my favorite.
melbell713 they didn't work for me too, and I couldn't get one decent look with it so I returned mine, the reviews are so different so I think their was quality control or something, even the one I swatched in the store was way better than what I had
You look amazingly beautiful today! Of course, you always look beautiful, but the colors you used for your makeup and the color of the top compliment your skin tone and hair color so well my jaw dropped when you came on after Bub's intro and I gasped. Not kidding, I gasped! Love you, Emily!
I LOVE your husbands part in this!!! He adds a lot to the video, tell him hi for me lol I also LOVE love love the Viseart palattes the best of all shadows. My favorite mascara is It Cosmetics Hello Lashes, the wand it has is priceless, the only drawback is that it is not waterproof. But I put a layer of Better Than Sex waterproof on afterwords and I love that mascara too.
Lol!! Dipping Doritos in the sour cream tub was my favorite snack back in college! My roommate would get so mad when she would open the tub and the sour cream was all orange!! Love the video!

I'm buying Superhero tomorrow. Maybe the Maybelline brow product too. For some reason my right eye is so different. The lashes and brows even the shape is completely different from left.
I wipe down my wand when i apply mascara to the left and right eye. For some reason lashes on right eye always clump up from mascara. I don't get it. 😠
Tiffany Teter I get so mad!! my left eye is fine. the brows are thin and don't grow in any longer but they fill in fine. lashes are fine too. Then i try to apply mascara and brow product and it's a mess. Why are my lashes getting all clumped w mascara? I curl them and wipe brush down and mascara just clumps up. They end up going straight on me. My right brow is awful. The hairs by the inner eye area literally droop down after product. They won't set w clear gel either. I give up. lol
I liked the skinny maybelline eyeliner but it ran out soooo fast because how tiny it is!! I figured it wouldn't last as long but it was only a couple weeks I think! ☃❄️
not sure if you use it on skin (like your actual upper lashline), but I feel like more product transfers off of the stick when you use it in that manner. Because I pretty much exclusively use it in the waterline & feel like mine has lasted a surprisingly long time! :D
