Merry Christmas guys, I love listening to your podcasts and these new videos are great. My favourite Christmas film is Love Actually. It has the lead up to Christmas, happy and sad times, and of course music.
As a Jewish person I’m always intrigued by what people do on Christmas morning. Colson your family goes full tilt with the pillowcases. As long as there is a Christmas theme with a tug at my heart strings I’m good. Happy Christmas!
I echo what others have said, the ultimate Christmas film is Home Alone. It’s Christmassy without overdoing it and yet the sentiment and everything is still there.
I live in New Zealand so can't really relate to the idea of seeing snow at christmas, but my three criteria for a christmas film are: 1. Set during the Christmas season 2. Includes a traditional christmas theme such as love, family, hope 3. Has a prominent christmas icon i.e Santa, Reindeer, elves My favourite Christmas film is Klau, an animated movie that came out in 2019. Definitely recommend seeing it if you haven't - beautifully animated and a very heartwarming story
Merry Christmas Lads!! Tooo funny 🤣 I have so many Christmas films!! I would have to put A Christmas Carol (1951) as my all time fav Classic Christmas film. Elf as the modern one. But every Christmas when I do my Christmas cookie baking I put on When Harry Met Sally, my unconventional Christmas film!! Criteria: 1. Should take place or in part be based around the holiday season, 🎄 2. Have Christmas music in it, 🎻 3. snow/winter ❄️ couldn’t bear a Christmas film set in the tropics with palm trees and people in swimwear 👙 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You are all brilliant!! Big Fan of podcast and enjoying the UA-cam!!! Stay safe ❤️❤️❤️
My favorite is the original animated The Grinch who stole Christmas. Covers all your requirements- snow, Christmas day, presents, Santa (kind of) and something that goes wrong ends up right in the end. Oh yes...and songs too!
Best Christmas movie ever would be Its A Wonderful Life. As for Christmas dinner the three things would be cranberry sauce, dressing, potatoes! Merry Christmas Everyone 🎄
OK so the 3 things that make a Christmas film for me are: - 1. It has to be set around Christmas. Sounds obvious but I’m talking within days of 25th. Ideally includes Christmas Day in the film, but Christmas Eve will do. 2. Snow. 3. Christmas songs. Jingle Bell Rock, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, etc. A decent song. None of that shite like Band Aid. My 3 ideal Christmas films are: - 1. Home Alone. Completely with Jack on this one, best Christmas film there is. 10/10. 2. Die Hard 3. Lethal Weapon
Ok, so I'm going to upset some people now. I was really looking forward to following your videos, absolutely loved the one at Cannon Hall Farm, BUT I am disappointed with the language in this one. Why do people feel the need to use this type of language in things? Maybe you need to make it clear that the language in your videos isn't suitable for the kids that want to watch because they like your Corrie characters. Hopefully, you don't use that kind of language around your kids!! In answer to your question, a good Christmas movie should: 1/ be set at Christmas time 2/ ideally, have snow 3/ have a happy ending Sorry to be the Negative Nell, guys, but each to their own, all the best for the new year
What's this shit about Christmas eve presents as a Yorkshire tradition?? Is it bollox 🤣 we do NOT do that I promise you. As for Christmas films, The Snowman, Home Alone & the classic that is Trading Places. Done 🎄🎅🎁⛄❄
