    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  3 роки тому +2

      The PROTEK 35 is a 3.5 inch prop drone (larger) and is a racedrone with prop guards, which is different than a pusher drone like the Cinelog 25. So if you wish to fly faster & lift more weight, then the PROTEK 35 is what you want. But if you wish to fly slow and under objects (when you have the skills for it) then a pusher drone is what you want.

(so sad since I know I should not buy every drone .... thank you for excusing my non-purchase with your statement at 13:45!!!). Curious as to the balance/flight tradeoff of flying with a 650 or larger 4S without an external camera. If flying the PRO version, the CADDX video is very, very good.

    For anyone wondering how to connect the SMO 4K to the Cinelog. The cinelog has a 3 pin connector, the SMO a 4 pin. BetaFPV sells a $2 adaptor. They should have included it right away...

  • @erickuo7757
    @erickuo7757 3 роки тому +2

    Thank you for the video. Do you need specific adaptor to connect Cinelog 25 and SMO 4k? Because the connector seems doesn't match with each other. Thank you very much.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  3 роки тому +3

      Usually with the camera you have, like the SMO 4K, you'll find the power cable that plugs in the side of the camera in the box. You can then just splice it into the cable that comes off the drone (just match up the colors of the wires with each other).

    As someone who works in video/photo production and experienced with dji drones, what would be a better choice as my first Fpv cine whoop for mostly indoor (would like the flexibility of outdoor) use?
    I've been considering between the Gepcr cinelog 25 or the TinyGo. Is any of them more durable than the other for inevitable crashes?
    Or perhaps you recommend an entirely different brand/model instead?

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  2 роки тому +2

      Since you fly DJI Drones it means you have a long road ahead to learn how to fly an FPV Drone. Unfortunately DJI (and other GPS Camera drones) slow your brain down because the drone does all the work for you. An FPV drone requires that you do all the work. I would get any all in one kit (RTF = Ready To Fly) with the knowledge that you will destroy it, so don't spend too much. If you want indoor outdoor to begin with, get a disposable kit like the BETAFPV CETUS PRO or CETUS X.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798

      The connector does not naturally fit the SMO 4K, but it uses the same wire colors, which means if you have an SMO 4K, there are additional connectors in the box. So, you cut off the connect that comes with the CINELOG 25 and replace it with the SMO 4K connector (just snip the wires, and either solder or tape the wires of the SMO 4K Connector by matching the colors).

      Normally when it comes to HD digital, PNP means your going to use your DJI radio (black one if connecting to Caddx Vista or older DJI O2 Air Unit)

    Capt Drone, dont you think the smo 4k has a weird magenta look to iets footage. If you look at 5.33 compared to the nebula pro and the footage from your truck compared to the smo 4k?
    I've seen it in all the smo 4k videos. Everything has this magenta haze on it. The snow is not white. It's magenta white.
    Does the cinelog come with a naked gopro mount included

    Do you still think that this is a quality starter drone, and not having a budget for DJI - what are your analog recommendations? I’m guessing range would be half of what you flew?

      If you are new to the FPV hobby, then I recommend you consider a READY TO FLY KIT (RTF kit). I have reviewed plenty of them. In the kit, you get everything you need to go flying.

      Depends on your country. Some countries require that you take a test to fly a drone over 250 grams.

      Sorry, no one can help you because when it comes to FPV, there is a million things you may have missed and from what you wrote I would not know where to begin in helping. Can you find someone in your city that also flies FPV that could help? Someone will have to look at what you have done to see where the issue is.

Babyhawk pro: 1404 motor power. Cinelog pro: prop guards and dampeners on cam. With guards you can fly closer to people and dont scare them with open props.

    Captain do you suggest Tattu R line 4S 750mah 95C lipo battery for Cinelog 25? This battery weight is about 82 grams only 2 grams more than 650mah R Line. This battery probably combines both flying agility for manueuver and more capacity for flying extended time. On the other hand Flywoo has introduced recently a new explorer 750mah LiHV 4s 80c battery which weights only 68 grams. Is it better to prefer a high voltage battery with same capacity but less weight? Or the Tattu 750 R line although it is a standard lipo it might performs better?

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798

      Best is the lightest weight battery for increased flight. RLine batteries are only for freestyle.
