But you are following this hatred man in the video. How come? This man is spreading hatred to you by talking against Sadguru. Why he has to do it, that too of a big Guru of Hinduism? That is bcos this man makes his living on spreading hatred on other successful Gurus and wants only his way which is a very limited small way. Christianity is small way of life. If you want big, spread out and great life, then Hinduism is the way. If you do not know this, then this means you have been fooled and kept stupid by people like this man in the video.

hi JD I usually watch your videos, and I have been admiring your efforts from the beginning, I myself write things in Sinhala to enhance “religious diversity in unity”. I think that is what is needed by the world, having people creating unnecessary differences based on their ideologies build upon their limited wounded knowledge and imagination.
Anyway as I was watching this particular video I felt I should post my way of looking at the matter as someone who has spent so many years researching on how to enhance unity of humanity encouraging diversity specially, within the religious context
here in this particular video, you’re talking about the meaning of life, and how this particular guru is claiming the meaning of life to be empty according to his way of looking at life based on his definition of the problem. which can be accepted as something correct, according to psychoanalytical principles.
and you are criticizing his answer based on you are definition of the problem which has been built upon Catholic way of looking at life.
technically two answers created against two problems cannot be compared at the same level,
it will definitely create unrealistic differences, encouraging hate and restlessness in the society, and a sense of disrespectfulness towards other peoples way of life, who are honestly trying to answer their version of the Problem of life, to the best of their ability.
when its come to comparing religious context, we should not compare the answers. Instead, we should compare the underneath problems.
according to Bishop Barron, catholics have defined their problem as “ always willing the common good, good of others over the individual personal human ego drama” (in scientific terms we Catholics through our religious practices wholeheartedly desire the betterment of the human gene pool, and the surrounding ways of nature, the will of God)
but on the other hand, most religious practices falls short as they lower the philosophical height of their problem, by limiting the scope, only on how to deal with their ego drama.
so I think it is better if you focus on comparing the hidden problems underneath the context when you compare any two opinions of people who belong to different ideologies.

I think JD's responses are pretty balanced and specific. Notice how he always addresses people of the christian faith -implying that he is not offering the catholic faith as a solution to others following other faiths . This is a necessary step in our current political climate in the subcontinent.
A lot of westerners seem to think Sadhguru is some wonderful new monk with a ferrari. The Indians know about his shenanigans in Coimbatore where he has engaged in land grabbing .
He is the Osho of our times trying his best to offer his empty observations to those that aren't willing to put in effort into their spirituality.
I think exposing him for who he is in the interest of christians who heed to his nihilistic viewpoints. As for your suggestion about exploring the underlying questions . IN what way do you think they are different ? For e.g in this video both Sadhguru and JD are offering their viewpoints to the question of the meaning of life.
There are many other videos where he has thrown light on various aspects of spirituality. On the whole he is quite inspirational and wise.Its time we open our mind to these teachings which can be beneficial to everyone.
He does not talk anything new. All copy work from other gurus and just uses many sofisticate words .
I just love these people who claim Christian as they smash and judge others works and words, Question we should ask ourselves are people who do this practicing their religion correctly? That’s the question!!

The real reference to context shown in the videos by this man is highly misleading.
The rat race of trp and views has made people crazy and blood thirsty on social media.
Sadguru has explained Jesus with high regards and in a very beautiful way.
The man in the video needs to check on his conscious first before misleading us faithful catholics.
Sadguru does not consider Christ to be God. His teaching contradicts christ's teaching. You either follow Sadguru or follow Christ. Both cannot be followed. Also Sadguru is known to lie. One case of him claiming to be vegeterian but eating fish. His views on Indian politics also show his love for sycophancy to enable his empire more than his love for truth or spirituality.
Elsewhere he comments that, Christians worship a man who died 2000 years ago. He doesn’t know that Jesus rose on the third day.
I'm sure that there are many wise and sincere Hindu Gurus, but some remind me of the worst sort of Protestant MegaChurch preachers that we have in the States. Wealth and power are their game.

Why do Catholic schools and colleges invite him for debates. There are many priests, who are his followers and there are many who are followers of shree shree Ravishanker. I have observed many contradictory teachings in our Catholic Church. I think it is high time to introspect ourselves before we show fingers at others. I used to go to the holiest of churches, for a very long time. I really never had the unwavering devotion that you talked about now. it is through Sadhguru program, a whole ocean of bliss, devotion and peace came through. I cannot describe how formidable the meditation programs are. When Jesus came only 12 people followed him when he asked several thousand people in the city, but for Sadhguru there is a several million following (thanks to technology), you are abandoning a Jesus (Sadhguru) of this age.

@@SongonFirecatholicIndia I said meditate not mediate, it’s a combination of breath work, like some fast, some normal, some blocking a nostril in a certain way etc. because the breath is connected to our life, no breath no life sir.
After a reasonably long time practicing few months or few years. You go into certain spaces, you can tell if it is badly maintained or if there is a higher power or darker power at force in certain spaces including Hindu temples. Something you can’t miss.

@@SongonFirecatholicIndia God is cruel, if he would send only one Jesus to help us. God is kind enough to give millions of options to get to his abode.
Also, think of this, God is really a neutral force meaning he is neither good nor bad, that is even how the world we live in is designed, for example, calamities happen to everyone no matter how good or bad or even religious people. In America, west coast has earthquakes, tornadoes in mid west and cyclones or hurricanes in Florida. No matter the country or religion there are many bad things happening to very random innocent people. Look at it like this, do calamities happen only to bad people? No right? It is always random people. Even one more example it was “random”people who died in Israel attacks by hamas, not bad people.
Jesus is a God, but he transmitted meditational practices to his followers “energetically”, it’s written in one of the gospels but I don’t know which one. Without energy (or extreme sense of unshakeable peace for the time being) then the Bible is unfortunately transmitting only words, have i seen Christians in high states of peacefulness without a human transmitter (there are insanely many!). Indian Christians in general are formidable devotees to Jesus but this is not so in the west they just transmit empty words (or do it for money in the name of religion).
It is like this in Hinduism, there are Gods who are part of the dark arts and there are Gods who only bring well being. You will see gods who look not good at all to extremely good looking ones. There are ones who live in a forest mostly (Shiva) and ones that have palaces or kingdoms (Rama or Krishna), there are ones that beg. Meaning we live in an all encompassing universe (both good and bad) and we choose whom to follow(whether the good gods are the dark ones).
Only people rise to direct that God exists, even for prophet Muhammad of Islam, it is he who told God exists not that God told us directly. Jesus said “I am the way and the only way”, because when a force like him exists right in front of them, if he said “there are other ways”, people would waste there time trying too many options. At that point HE is there best option.
@@SongonFirecatholicIndiaI’ll give you one more example, people who are bad and do bad things they can lead a luxurious life and have normal deaths. People who are innocent can lead a life full of poverty and strife(there are some who are intelligent but lead with poverty). There are corporations doing bad things to employees and customers but the executives lead better lives by exploiting. You really don’t see them being punished (maybe, just maybe by law). God had never really punished several million people who do bad things (almost like he doesn’t exist at all) but the truth is he is neutral, especially to global events.
