Tommy Paris!! Great replacement for Dizzy! No one beats JD on drums and Michael and Billy are the best in my eyes. Great guys and I will never forget them and the work we did together for the photos and videos by my friend Steve did for the Long Way to Live tour in 2000! Best time of my life to this day!!
I graduated at the beginning of the 80’s...went to US Festival and joined the Navy...that opened the door to “really” experiencing the world (left S. Idaho) and it was the beginning of seeing tons of bands...even more when I joined the Army and was stationed on land 🤘🤘🤘
They sound great.... Not many people can pull off singing their songs and this dude has been with the band longer than their original singer. Also, I guarantee it sounds better Live.
Patently false. I saw the original BF on tour with Poison and Lita Ford in support of their first album. Britny was arguably the best band on the stage that night - which is no slight to the other two AT ALL. Britny was just THAT GOOD. Regardless of how long this cat has been in the band, he doesn't hold a candle to Dean. I know Dean is doing his own thing, and bless him, but this is a B+ cover band. Not BF.
80s were my teen years.....guess we didn't realize how cool it was until it was over...90s pretty much sucked....thats when I started listening to death metal....not much more to listen to then....mtv went to shit with " reality " shows.....anybody got Marty Mcflys phone number?
I don't have Marty McFlys # but If you loved Britney Fox and the 80s check out Crashdiet, Loud N Nasty, Danger, Blackrain, Sister, Sister Sin, Crazy Lixx, Gunner, Reckless Love, Panzer Princess, Peepshow/States of Panic, Nasty Habit, Wild Street, Sweet Creature, Dynazty, H.E.A.T., Redlight Attraction, Toxic Rose, Jailbait, Foxey, Frenchkiss, these should lead you to other bands.
So lucky! I have always wanted to meet them. Ever since my dad told me I was named after them! Yes, the spelling is different. But It’s an honor. My parents love them! ❤️
A couple of things lacking here. You know that age and it's show production capabilities will have some variance. You allow for that a bit to see the former greats. No issue. But, please have some freaking rhythm guitar especially, for JC sakes! That was hard to listen to during breakdowns, when solo singing, without the banding of the rhythm riff-played guitar! That guitar is HUGE in that song...
Tommy Paris is a great vocalist and his voice is perfect for this type of metal, only thing is I became a fan due to Dean Davidson. I was so bummed when I bought Bite Down Hard and noticed it was a different singer. Now with no internet back in those days, I had no way of knowing what happened or that Dean had a new band called Blackeyed Susan. Anyway I did eventually discover Electric Rattlebone quite by chance and although it had some great stuff on it... it was not the same. I continued to be a fan of Tommy Paris' Britny Fox and Dean Davidson had A Weekend Soul Massage, Love Saves the Day and Drive My Karma.
@@BaronVonBielskiI'm friends with one of the Blackeyed Susan guitar players, he just gave me what might have been one of his last BES shirts. We both still live in that area where all those east coast bands are from

I see Johnny Dee is still in the band, Billy is back and Tommy is on vocals. Chris Sanders on lead now he's in the Stephen Pearcy and Juan Croucier version of Ratt replacing Warren.
my buddy and I used to jam Bite Down Hard all through high school. Love that record. Not a bad track on it, and Paris was a hell of a singer. I just don't see much of a path for this band unless Dean comes back, and even then, is there really much more they could hope for? Billy Childs white sneakers are amazing.
@@alicedagoon4798 I can see that....except Vince is so out of shape and fat that he can't breath. Seen him perform recently? He takes two steps and sings like he ran a marathon
Tony "Sticks" Destri was the original Cinderella drummer and was fired along with guitarist Michael Kelly Smith. They joined singer Dean Davidson and bassist Billy Childs to form the original Britney Fox. Destri was killed in a horrific car crash on February 8, 1987 before ever releasing an album. Johnny Dee replaced him.
The bass player was 1 o the founding members of Cinderella! He left right before Night Songs was released cause he didn't think they'd break big & formed Brit Fox. Bet he regretted that one but o well
Tempo was definitely too fast but I doubt Dizzy could sing it better now. Has Dizzy even done anything - at all - in the last 10+ years? Bite Down Hard was the best BF album by far.
I thought "Bite Down Hard" was their best album. Go Tommy Paris!! I have the blackeyed susan album on cassette, I barely made through one listen. I'm not sure what ever happened to it.
if i just happened upon this band playing somewhere i would think it was a cover band doing a respectable job covering a britny fox tune...would never guess it was actually them...
Sounds good, vocals are pretty good, its not Dean but I could still enjoy the concert. Some of the original lead singers from the 80s bands sound awful now.
malcolm6669 the original singer dean will sound horrible too , they are old, the goods days are gone along with their voices ..but the only thing that we can do is trying to enjoy this maybe will be the last ones...
Long gone from the band, many moons ago. Obviously he doesn't own the rights to the name or he'd be touring under it. So, unfortunately, I guess he just left as a hired gun.
i was thinking bout this video and this band feeling stuck into playing this song...kinda sad to say the least...i bet they feel embarrassed .......still sux wow
Is there 'One' original dude up there? maybe the drummer?...but, look how 'plain' they all look. Wow...we've come a long way from the Glam look' of that same band ( and so many others) in the 80's. Is that Johnny Dee'...with a fucking Mohawk? Looks like absolute hammered shit. Bummer than Dean isn't with them either.
Dizzy... The rock and roll needs you, man!

That is johnny on drums. Cool
Michael Kelly Smith Is he still in the band?
Thx 4 posting
Long live hair bands 🎸😁
They sound very good love LONG WAY TO LOVE Thats my fave song great solo
This song was so truly underrated.
Dizzy Dean Is who I want to see in Britny Fox
The original line up for me for this glam metal rock as the OK for their time .
Glam metal as you put it was the best era of music ever. Singers could sing and guitar players knew more than three chords. Rap sucks, yo
You got that right!
Only
I went to school with Johnny D. We were buddies.... I am sure neither of us would recognize the other at this point.
Great drumming! Signature beats like that are few and far between.

Had a great chat with my friend, Michael Kelly Smith, on IANO a few years ago. Britny Fox rules!
Whoo, britny fox and heavenly hill, cheers 🥃
That looks so eighties. Rock on 🤘
Sounds good to me!!!
I love the bite down hard stuff too!!!!

This guy is cool but Dizzy Dean Davidson will be the king of heavy metal forever long live Dean Davidson
Dean abandoned his Metal roots, I'd go with the current singer. Check out the 3rd album

HAIR NATION FESTIVAL
right now I'm shit faced checking this out man he sounds like SAMMY I got to listen to this tomorrrw
This is so much better than the actual video. His voice isn't as high-pitched which makes it sound gay and sounding like a Tom Keifer wannabe.
The bass player was 1 o the founding members of Cinderella! He left right before Night Songs was released cause he didn't think they'd break big & formed Brit Fox. Bet he regretted that one but o well

Listen to New York City lights by dean, that man can still sing. Trust me.
He moved back to Philly from Florida. His latest stuff is just meh. Not 80s or metal at all. Seems like emo stuff. Oh well.

Fuck yea!!
This guy doesn’t even have the wind Or the power to sing this song. Bring back Dean
Tommy Paris .....drank with him hard in Maplewood MN. at the Rock
I was there. The guitarist smashed two guitars before the set(only 4 songs) because he was so pissed the drummer was late.
Edward Brandenburg That's what drummers do.
Yup I got some of it on video. I was there front row. I saw myself in this video lol.
Nice vocals.

Who in the band now was a part of it back in the day?
I think I have seen all these guys working at AutoZone.

Not the original singer.
no shit..that's kinda my point

They aren’t the originAl Britney Fox bAnd!
Johnny Dee is still good.
Ain't Britny Fox without Dizzy Dean , sorry
how did this cover band get 70k views
sounds 👍 good
You really think this sounds good? Vocals are strained, tempo too fast, not tight at all. Listen again
A million miles an hour...
Are there any original members here?
Tommy is better than Dean; Bite Down Hard is their best album.
That is a great album! Had that blaring in my car the other day!!
Sounds good, vocals are pretty good, its not Dean but I could still enjoy the concert. Some of the original lead singers from the 80s bands sound awful now.
What happened to the sound ?
Not original members..but still 100% better than the hog slop being passed off as music these days!!
The ONLY original member in this band is the bass player!?
Miss kim anderson
One original
Who is in this band now??? Just Billy?
that not the original singer...
oh youre fucking lucky !!!i sing alot of britny fox song im a big fan but this is sad they need to bring back the original singer

original member?
The bass player looked bored..then he takes his bass off even before the drummer finishes...wonder why Michael didn't play guitar with them?
It's just not the same without Dean.😥 not bad but not the same.
Yep ..I miss Dean too
Dw: the "anti" rock and heavy drum.
At least michael kelly smith had the good sense to stay FAR away from this
