- In todays video I'll do a full breakdown of the Bomb Drone Killstreak in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. A powerful scorestreak which combines the benefits of the Recon Drone with C4 Lethal Equipment, resulting in an over-powered and often game changing piece of equipment.
Today I'll break down all of the details, explaining exactly how the Bomb Drone works and then I'll reveal several effective ways to counter the Bomb Drone, helping you survive an attack from one of the best kill streaks in MW2.

You forgot one more counter. Shock sticks can drop it quick if it flies near the radius of it. Useful if you're in tight spaces or can land the stick on a wall near it.
Fun fact: in call of duty’s ping system, it is considered a vehicle when pinged using whichever button you set for the ping, and this is the same for the chopper gunner, cruise missle, wheelsion, recon drone (field upgrade), and for AI controlled skillstreaks, the vtol, attack chopper, and uav (it has the same sound but different icon). Unfortunately even though the gunship is considered a vehicle, it is impossible to ping even if you get to the highest spots possible in a large, medium, or small maps.
I was in a 2v1, my friend downed and they were breaching the building. I pulled out a bomb drone and blew all 3 of us up. Then I self revived and revived my teammate.

I use it to make a free version of the bomb drone when I combine it with either the c4 or proximity mines. Proximity mines seems to work better since it doesn’t require a manual detonation

Bomb drone…when you know you don’t have good aim and probably can’t take out a player in DMZ

Could you do a Guide for the Basilisk Magnum? Because for me it is sometimes inconsistent if the shot kills or not.
Maybe... I've used it quite a bit and was gonna do a video on it, it got range nerfed early after launch and isn't very good anymore unless your at really close range. I'd like to try it with the snake shot rounds which turns it into a shotgun.

I’ve done a lot of testing with the ddos because I was planning a video on it, but at the moment it’s a mess, really bizarre the way it works, so I’m hoping for a fix but doesn’t look like it’s coming any time soon. I’m was hoping it would behave like the EMP grenade from BO2 and destroy electronic equipment within a radius of about 25 meters, that would make it quite useful and able to compete with the other field upgrades
I can never get kills using bomb drone, it’s either I can’t find anyone or the battery runs out before I get close enough and also it takes forever to blow up I wish I didn’t have to hold the button for so long for it to blow up, by the time it blows up the enemy is long gone in my experience
Nobody has any idea how to boost it? Ive seen someone hit a booster and it took off after me hella fast. But i cant find out how to do it

I think that in multiplayer at least, Infinity Ward did a surprisingly good job of balancing an "RC-XD with wings." But the DDOS definitely needs a buff. It also doesn't disable a CUAV.
Not really in search its practically a free kill. it's too fast and too small to put bullets into.

Ddos doesn't work at the moment, gotta be a bug but no mention of it on the IW trello board, so many bugs to fix it's crazy.
Bomb drone It may sound bad, but it actually helps.
I have not used it much but see it often. I think of it as skeet shooting time when it is up. Pull out the shotgun.
Yeah, the hardest part about shooting it down is keeping at a safe distance. I wish they would fix the DDOS it's a cool little device if it would actually work.
@FavstaR I do like the ddos and have been using it to counter other things. I didn't realize it was also good to scramble other players mini map. I may have to use it more.
Not overpowered due to its small explosion radius.

Not gonna lie it needs a nerf really bad. Since you can kill someone with one drone is way too cheap.

Depends on your platform, it'll say on the screen. I think it's whatever button you press to throw your lethal grenades

Why didn't you try the trophy system as a counter?
That's a great question! Unfortunately my answer sucks... I forgot to try it and now I'm curious because in past Cods the trophy would zap c4 out of the air. My gut tells me it won't counter the bomb drone because it behaves quite a bit differently than c4 in this game.

Lol that's unfortunate but a ridiculously effective strategy, your best move is probably to start looking for it as soon as you get notified and try to shoot it.
