This isn't the first Saiga bullpup conversion. I wonder how it compares to the Kushnapup? Some gunsmith was doing pretty cool Kushnapup custom work, there's a review on TTAG. There's also Standard Manufacturing's unreleased semi-auto mag-fed bullpup. When I saw that a year or two ago I figured that would probably be the bullpup shotgun to buy.
What I really want, and would even consider having custom made if I had more money or was very into shotguns, is a reliable bullpup mag-fed semi-auto shotgun with an extended handguard that covers a full-length Salvo 12 suppressor, which is a foot long (12"). That suppressor is so long, it would need to be a bullpup and have a short or integrally suppressed (pinned suppressor) barrel in order to actually be short and handy. But you'd need a long handguard. But it would be very nice to have a full length suppressor on a short shotgun with a 12ga blast exiting a muzzle less than two feet from the shooter's face.

Avoid like the plague. Bought one and sold it to a gun smith. Dealer would not take back IO would not honor warranty and Kral never reply to any contact. Won't cycle high brass at all. Wont cycle target load. If you can find low brass oo buck that sometimes cycles a couple of shots. I tried larger gas plug and changed spring did not help. I have a saiga 12 the works great.

Is Catamount fury compatible?
I put a Kushnapup bullpup stock on a Catamount Fury II. It took 8 hours and I am a fabricator... so do not go down that road even if they advertise it to fit.
@@indy1698 I ordered a Kushnapup stock. When I put this stock on my weapon it was very clear it required a massive amount of customization to make it work. I was Furious and returned it. I'm not paying $250 for a stock that doesn't fit the weapon.

Makes me sad Turkey is coming out with so many nice looking shotguns. The American made ones always have some kind of ludicrous price tag. Especially the newer ones that come out, the MSRP costs more than a proven design like a Benelli..

But is it reliable? I'm predicting that bullpup autoshotguns are going to become very popular for home defense. Maybe not this one though. Looks heavy and kinda goofy (safety lever)

What are the legalities of owning a saiga bullpup in California. I have a spike bullpup CBRPS on mine
Semi-auto shotguns with detachable magazines are banned in California. You could fix the magazine, but bullet buttons are no longer an option, so how would you reload? The only other option is to plug the gas system so it becomes a manual repeater.

Say no to Turkish weapons. Poor quality especially teamed up with IO oh nooo. Hopefully other reputable companies make a version similar.
