Not at 2200usd. Theyre nuts. PTRs are 1k or less
cold hammer forged barrel and full HK licensed tooling and tech. Worth it. Like comparing a Chevy to a Caddillac
@@stefanodogg280
No offense, but the latest Cadillacs.... Not a huge difference between those and the upper trims/fully-loaded Chevys.
@@NGMonocrom Zenith has CHF barrel, 2.5 x the barrel life, well worth it
@@stefanodogg280
Definitely! That's one thing we agree on. Can't go wrong with a cold hammer forged barrel. Too bad GM won't offer any engines THAT well-made.
$1,999
Man! These videos you’re pumping out are awesome! Great SHOT coverage, thank you!
Great coverage. Thanks for taking the time.
Hope they come soon. I’ve had a Z-5RS on backorder for a year.
AF-O6 thats a long time, that’s what I want so bad
AF-O6 are you waiting for the pistol version ? I bought mine about a month ago
With the pistol brace .
catman4x4 Yes. The bare one. I ordered one from Brownells during a 10% off day. It was a great price, and I’m sure they’ll deliver eventually...as long as Zenith is able to import them.
Keep it up with the Shot Show videos. I love seeing the different types of guns
Thanks, we recorded 12 today, but my laptop sucks, so I don't know if I have enough time to cut them all
What happened to the 43. I want 556
Not sure how much more refined than the Century Arms C308 it is. Hopefully about 300% for that price. The C308 is a harsh ride but, for $699.00... it is what it is. I would like to see you do a comparison between the 2 in the future.
Super cool gun!!
So what happened to these? I never saw them for sale.
For the price of this, you can buy a ptr 91 and DSA FAL...
Are they on sale yet??
Personally I think the g3 is better to shoot than a fal
That’s great and all but when will they have more z-5RS on sale??!!!
This rifle doest seem to have the harsh side to side wobble seen in most g3/ptr rifles, unless it is the way you are holding it, looks very tame. $2,200 though. ouch
Agreed on the price. As for recoil, after that damn C308 torture test, I can manhandle any G3.
@@BurstReview You can get a nice one from PTR for more than half that price and its made here completely stateside. Why would anybody plop an extra grand for the exact same rifle?
OMG you have already priced yourselves out of the market.
There are also going to be some who won't like the fact these are Made in Turkey. Technically an ally of ours' but the nation does a very poor job of covering up the fact they let terrorists train on their soil. No, I'm not saying the company is a part of that. Just that they're based in Turkey.
That and availability.
there had to be something on your lens, I know once you reviewed the footage you were pissed!
Shot show is just one of these events where I wish I just had like, $50,000 lying around and just go nuts.
IF it comes to us in that exact configuration shown, I will buy it, even at the fairly high price.
Agree. It's basically an original HK. Wonder whether it has the necessary bayonet lug...???
@ Frank Taeter I couldn't get a look at whether it had the dust cap or the bayonet socket on the end of the cocking tube, but based off the configurations of their most recent rifle imports in 5.56, I'm guessing these will come with the dust cap as opposed to the bayo socket (we could always put one on later if we want to).
I really hope the triple frame/front sight base on whatever rifle we get will be the same as the one we see here in this video--it gives the authentic G3 look and it's a PITA to replace if someone wants to do that.
@@dexm2010 yeah, can get bayo lug for $18 from rtg
@@dexm2010 saw another video of the Zenith, and it did have the bayo socket.. 100% exact to HK
@ Frank Taeter Excellent. Some military G3s from pictures didn't even always come with the bayo socket, but if this one does all the better.
If you go by the Zenith booth again please ask them why they aren’t any of their Mp5 clones anywhere anymore. Do they plan on importing more?
@$2199 you can get a genuine Hk91 if you look around... and its seems to me that the only real difference is the paddle mag release as he said clip and fit so no push pin trigger pack.
Make u eat something and rest!!!! Been watching u for the past 24 hrs!!!! Need some rest!!!! Lol!!!! Enjoy ur trip!!!
Make sure.....
No way for that price.
These are still not here in shot show 2020!
PTR got competition, folks
not at 2k plus
Lol no, not at all
MSRP?? If it's not crazy priced one of them is MINE
$2,199
BurstReview more than double the price of a ptr 🤦🏻♂️
@@scottsaylors1996 Yeah, that's pretty hard to swallow. My experience has been the PTRs are very well built and solid.
@@scottsaylors1996 I'm buying one, these are the real deal made on HK machinery under HK liscense. I have PTRs already and like them but this or my original G3 would be what I would want for what is coming. Keep in mind these have a cold hammer forged barrel and will outlast a PTR 2.5 x to 1
Stefano Dogg yeah but honestly most people won’t shoot out a standard barrel
MSRP: $2,199
PTR 91 is far less and pretty darn good. Eats steal case and everything else.
@Eugene Stoner That's a good point. Do we know if the Z3 barrels will be getting any kind of treatment like melonite?
Is a cold hammer forged barrel worth a grand?
@Eugene Stoner they're a steal since they're HK.. are the barrels polygonal? Tks
BurstReview why haven’t you pined this?
CHF barrel?
2200 bucks? Ouch knocked out of the market before they entered it. I dont even like G3s but PTR is gunna wipe the floor
Address the availability of existing line? Can't get an RS, or 5K, why consider this? Lip service...
Put a rail on the whole top part. Fuck my knuckles I need attachments.
But do they actually sell these guns?
Its 2022 and these never came.
2024 checking in here... still crickets.
April timeframe? Ha! You can't even get Z5RS in since April of last year. Yeah right these are coming in in the April timeframe. I have had mine on preorder since last April and whenever I call Zenith to check, they say it has been manufactured and is "sitting on the dock waiting to picked up." Waiting to be picked up for 2 months? Are they getting rusty yet? I am going to call Bullshit.
Why? There are already alot of g3 clones. Make a 300 bo hk53 pistol under 1800
Burntburgers please explain
@@ronin223 what makes this special is this is a actual factory imported g3 instead of a kit build or American made like ptr
cl223 I love eating cupcakes on Sundays
@@francisp.4992 That's it? Unless it can drive nails at a thousand yards and give me a blowjob at the same Zenith can go pound sand. The funny part is genuine HK 91's sold for less than half that back in the day.
Kills the brass still?
Always will.
$ ?
$2,199 :(
Forgot one thing: 0:18
2K...no way.
Why even do this? PTR makes them in house here in the states. Why not 5.56 hk clone?
PSG1 clone?
MSRP? I must have missed it...
He asked but was not answered. Maybe Zenith hates us as much as HK
$2199 aka 1,000 too much for PTR fans
@@BurstReview I'm buying one and I'm a PTR fan. Cold Hammer Forged barrel, HK equipment and licensing
Dude, I hear everyone say G3's/HK91's have horrible recoil. You're shooting and going... meh. It looks like nothing. So how does it recoil compared to say a M14? I used to own a polytech and that thing would barely recoiled more than an AR15.
I have fired all three classic battle rifles in full auto
1. FAL had controllable recoil in 2-3round bursts
2. G3 had similar recoil per shot but had a slightly higher rate of fire making it slightly more difficult to control, shot dispersion was the same though
3. I was not allowed to fire the M14 off hand, even on a bipod it immediately wanted to climb, metal but plate didn’t help. Definitely had the best sights.
Semi auto was about the same for all three.
Once you break that $1,800.00 USD mark you can't really call a gun great. At that point it has no choice but to be great and much more because of the price. I'd rather get an Aero Precision M5E1(AR-10 or SR25) series than pay that.
Why buy a Turkish rifle for $2200, when you can get a American made PTR-91 for $900?
@@sillybilly121212 PTR builds the rifle on real HK tooling...
@@NS-kx1ik Not the barrel. They're TC. The bolt & carrier are German surplus.. PTR s are great I have 2 but the Zenith is pretty much original..
@@franktaeterUSA Is that $1100+ worth a slightly "better" barrel from a company that is known to have funded jihadists?
Zenith is much more beter.
The FAL is garbage and wow look at that recoil
HK 91 has virtually no recoil.. most ppl who whine never shot one..
Zenith/MKE didn't already make one of these?

She ain't pretty but she is effective!
I grew up in the 80s and as a kid these and the FALs were my favorite rifles. To my old eyes they're both beautiful. ;)
As an American born and raised citizen, I absolutely Love Zenith and MKE. Turkish firearm manufacturers have an opposite approach than Israeli firearm companies wherein Turkish firearm manufacturers will either give you great quality at a low price, or unbelievable quality at a fair price. Israel consistently overcharges for absolute garbage products.
sillybilly121212 All of them
@@burntburgers1946 Never heard of the FAL, Galil or the Jericho being garbage, so you're wrong.
This is neither a great or fair price lol. Zenith is one of the most overpriced firearms on the market. They think they can rape you on nostalgia because you saw a gun used in a movie you liked as a kid
The G3 is an obsolete and outdated platform get a scar or an AR10.
"just get uh ay ar" doesn't really apply with the ar10. It wasn't ever standardized and the gas system is pickier and less reliable than the g3's roller delayed blowback. There really aren't any compelling reasons for getting an ar10 over a g3. Scar's are objectively superior but the price tag is nothing short of outrageous
@@Tyr1001If you can't afford a better platform then you need to work harder and get your money right there are far too many deficiencies of the G3 to live with. The accuracy sucks by modern standards, the trigger sucks, the ergonomics suck, no last shot bolt hold open, it's slower to reload, it's overweight, they're more difficult to mount optics to than modern rifles since mounting an optic dicks up your cheek weld and you're limited on the length of the optic, they aren't as modular as newer rifles, the clones have zero collector value, the aftermarket for them sucks, they jack up brass, and the barrel isn't chrome linned. And I'm out of breath after talking about what an antique the G3 is so much so say so many weaknesses of the system.
@@gsxr1189 as obsolete as an MG42. Have you shot either?? I have.. nothing like German engineering.. never fail and far far superior in design than AR...
@@franktaeterUSA Once again here's that list of reasons why the G3 is just an antique from the cold war era;
Out dated? The G3 came into service 1959, The AR10 came into service 1960. They are the same age
