Hey Jack, I've been doing some experiments during lockdown with your recipes and loving it! Can you do one without the oven and just over the stove version please? :)
Stove version will take time for cooking
I tried this as a pizza topping , It was immaculate .

Jack are you full Australian? You sound English at parts! Love the videos mate, keep at it.
I was born and raised in England and now live in Australia! 😀 I’m glad you love the videos, thank you for the support! 🙏👌
@@ChefJackOvens do you prefer australia to england mate
Aurstralians are just spicy British people
No such thing as a full Australian 😉

Great Englishman 🙌🏻
🙏🙏
Hi Jack,
Just wanted to let you know that I love piri-piri chicken and that I tried a few recipes. Just made yours and it was by far the best! My entire family loved it.
Next time I make it and will add a few chilies as we all like spicy food 😉 Thank you very much , you know have a new member!
Hey Vincent! I'm so glad you and your family enjoyed this recipe. It definitely is a good one. The sauce is fantastic with extra heat added. Thank you very much!
I've been working on losing weight and figured learning a good peri peri sauce recipe might help in that endeavour. I'm heading to the shop to grab the ingredients, I'll let you know how it goes : )
Please enjoy it 😊
@@ChefJackOvensSo I managed to get all of the ingredients, but my blender wasn't quite as decent as I remember, so it turned out a little less smooth, but still pretty good.
Chicken breasts have been marinating for around 15 hours, but the sauce by itself tastes awesome!
Hyped for dinner tonight : )
Can we use extra virgin olive oil here ?
The Peri Peri Video was very good for the sauce and the Chicken. However I did not find it to be like Peri Peri I have had. The meals were okay but will not be doing this recipe again but will try the others.
I use Maggie Peri peri powder in Bengali veg curry
2:38 my guy straight up changed race after eating that chicken
Haha I was wearing gloves 😉
I think I'll cheat and get ready sauce lmao 😁
how do you make peri peri sauce?
Here is the video link. How To Make Peri Peri Sauce - ua-cam.com/video/BTVwHcUIQ0Q/v-deo.html
Brine the chicken for 2hrs before marinating. It's also best done on a charcoal grill.
You’re more than welcome to do it that way. I like to keep certain recipes simple so everybody can do them. I know a lot of people don’t own a bbq. I do agree that brined and grilled chicken is delicious though 👌
Oh 24hrs in the fridge😅...👀im goingcheck my chicken
Hey can i use nando's peri peri sauce?
You can. If you haven’t seen my recipe for peri peri sauce, you should definitely check it out.
@@ChefJackOvens definitely, i will check your recipe
Awesome!! Please enjoy 😊
Wait is it 14 then 5 minutes in the oven or just 14 minutes and take it out with 5 minutes to go to re-madinade?
14 minutes in the oven. Take it out the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes
Emphasis on "fresh peri-peri sauce".
You wouldn't use the peri-peri sauce you have left over from the marinade bowl for the final brush on correct?
Exactly. Unless you want to cook it for another 5 min to ensure the raw chicken juices are cooked off. But that additional cooking may make your chicken overdone if you're using chicken breasts
Good point. I think that was an oversight by the chef.
Exactly as tylc stated. Add Peri Peri that hasn’t been in contact with the raw chicken. There’s is a note about this in the description of the video. 😊
@@ChefJackOvens Wow. Thanks for the reply Chef Jack. absolutely love your videos.
You needed to make some cuts in the breast soo the marinade can penetrate the breast otherwise it’ll come out like white meat when cut which is dry asfff
Finally convinced you ain't jamie oliver
Haha, how so?
@@ChefJackOvens face reveal
Haha! That would make sense!
@@ChefJackOvens I just watched your garlic prawn pasta video and my your cutting skills are out of this world
Don’t know what I done wrong but the chicken was raw in the middle
Did you seal the chicken on a really high heat before you put them in the oven? Was your oven on 180 Degrees Celsius/350 degrees Fahrenheit? I’ve never had a problem cooking the chicken breast for 14 minutes. It comes out perfect every time.
Chef Jack Ovens yeah the chicken was splattering all over the kitchen... it’s an induction hob and I didn’t use a skillet pan, probs has something to do with it
Just one correction if I may.
There's no such word as peri-peri. It's Piri-piri. It's a exclusive Portuguese word and there's no translation to any other language.
Nice cookings!
45secs sear on high heat made my kitchen fill with smoke. May have had to too high
Did you have an exhaust fan on?
All that protein and no leg gains lol 💀💀💀
My legs are toned I’ll have you know haha 😂
@@ChefJackOvens I respect your view but from where I’m sitting, that end clip tells me different 🤫😉😜 x
Haha 😂 😎
The breast says that the chicken was on roids
Hey Einstein, you forgot to tell us how to make the home-made peri peri sauce
The peri peri sauce is a seperate video. I also have a link at the beginning of the video and in the description.
@@ChefJackOvens ok great thanks!!
19min in oven isn't that too much? the chicken looks dry even when u say it's juicy like 50 times
Its cooked for 14 minutes in the oven. You remove it after 9 minutes, baste the chicken and cook for a further 5 minutes. Trust me the chicken isn’t dry at all!
@@ChefJackOvens ahh ok that makes more sense. excuse my hearing
Plz use Bell paper when you make the marination and some red colour in it.
There was no pari pari colour on the chicken.
