Ben, you have one of the best and most authentic UA-cam channels. Thank you for creating your content. Can’t wait to see your upcoming African film video.
Impressive all this magnificent fauna ! The pictures of elephants and rhinos are so cool ! Haaaaa, and the King of the Savannah... the Lion ! Nice. Thanks for sharing Ben !
Hi Ben. I’m a devotee to your channel. I love your work, more than often you inspire me to take a break and go shoot film. I love shooting with my Contax 137 ma. And then this video. I’m from South Africa know the area fairly well. Now living in Australia. What a awesome privilege you had capturing wildlife for eternity. Excellent work.
This was inspirational, the footage is beautiful and your photo compositions are just amazing. Clearly proves that it's not always about the kit but the person taking the images (although I'm tempted with a GH6 now!). Think my favourite critters are the crocs, the way those eyes watch you above the water line ...!
Ben I am new to your channel and love the way you filmed this video - did you film using VLOG or another profile such as CINE D on your GH6? It's beautiful.
Ben, this was so enjoyable. Love your channel and your passion. Guess you didn’t use the q2 much for these shots! Magnificent footage of some beautiful animals. You really brought us there with you!
What a magnificent adventure the photos are exceptional that of the lions are breathtakingly beautiful and your video captures of great art and the music choice amazing 🙏 Is all this magnificent adventure for a documentary?
That’s what I thought. Those are with the 42.5. Those lions are in a large sanctuary and I shot them through a fence. Could get within a foot of them or so. Very scary. I expect I’ll have to return the GH6 but they haven’t asked yet. When those cameras get better AF for video they will be amazing. Still don’t actually own a Digital camera. Shooting some portraits with the GH later today. Cheers.
I like how these wildlife images are very definitely portraiture by any standard.
Well we do what we do... haha. Thanks pal.
Amazing video. Stills perfect. Nice combination B&W and color.
Means a lot 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Stunning images!

Hey thank ya 🙏🏼🙏🏼. And nope, I was just out there making a silly tv show. Had some down time. Cheers.
Amazing footage! Didn’t know the hippos were so deadly.
Stone cold killers
Hi...amazing montage music and images...I have a question, do you use ND filter for your shooting?
I didn’t for this one. When I’m doing very specific video I do. Thanks!!
That 200mm f4 Nikkor is a great lens. I had one in the 1980s
Really stoked with the film shots I got back with that lens. Thanks for watching.
Awesome Ben!! Great shots and portraits. MFT isn’t dead 😊
Hell no its not, thanks pal.
wow
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Awesome video and photos. Is that the 100-300 that has that swirly bokeh in the background? Great job
Which shots specifically?
@@adventureStaley the tighter ones of the lions.
Also are you keeping the GH6 or was it just a loaner for the trip? Are you fully analog right now?
