Yawol. looking good. Plane was first a nuclear bomber. Bombay in the tail. They found out that when a bomb was spit out the back it followed the plane in its slipstream. Being chased by a nuclear bomb is the thing of nightmares. So they slapped a cone on its ass and ask the Navy if they wanted it. They used it for photo reconaissance-RA5-C. It and the A-3D "Whale" biggest things to land on the carriers-before supercarriers. I met a backseater once. He said on landing looking out the side glass it was "Water, water, water, deck, boom, trap."
