Is there a pushrod behind pedal to adjust?

I have just finished doing a 2011, fwd, it was a nightmare, nowhere as easy as this, if I where to do another one I would add some steps , consider these number one remove seat, doing this job with the runner sticking in your back is really uncomfortable. Consider doing a brake fluid change at the same time, so you can move the brake pedal up and down. Get one of the circlips shown, my one had a ordinary one that made it real awkward. and the thing I found really important in my case I could not get the master cylinder out and had to break off the plastic tabs, when putting back it would not go back in, so remove the bottom four bolts out of the brake pedal bracket this will allow you to get a screwdriver under the bottom of it to leaver out and allow you to line it up better then to get the bolts in I found it better to use both hand and put the bolts in from behind the pedal. Good luck

you need to tie a rubber band or spring to the clutch pedal so that the pedal rises and drive further

Easier way, get a mechanic to do it 😂

Greatly appreciated this video is very helpful. Would you say that if the pedal only intermittently doesn't spring back up , that this will be tte cause. As i have a 63 plate custom with 88k on the clock. And the clutch pedal sometimes goes low and needs pulling back up with my foot. Also the 1st gear can be hard to engage most of the time.

What turned out to be the cause of this problem ?
