my personal review(5 years old mudman G9000) - many times used when swimming in the sea or pool - ok - accidental hitted on hard areas like wall, metal, etc. (almost every day) - ok - never removed from wrist for a month even when taking a bath and sleeping(mostly during traveling) - ok - fully covered with mud during mtb trail rides - ok Issues encountered: strap broke after 4 years, battery replaced after 3 years, 1 small scratch on the screen, slight fading on the screen. Buttons still hard after 5 years. 2020 - Still working and still being use more than my other watches.
Io posseggo un CASIO MUDMAN G9000 proprio dal 2007e debbo dire che ho fatto di tutto, veramente di tutto: dalla scalata in montagna al più profondo con bombole, campeggio, lavoro pesante (scaricare camion di mattoni eccetera) È indistruttibile e adesso che siamo nel 2020 sono sincero non lo cambierei con nn tipo di nuovo CASIO. Ne sono usciti bellissimi ma questo x me è una bomba.
An absolutely gorgeous and indestructible watch. I have five G-Shock watches in my collection, but this is my absolute favorite. I don't even have the new GBD-H2000 on my wrist that often. It's eight years old and still works great. Legend! 👍
Mineral glass is weak ??? What do YOU still don´t understand ? Mineral glass is scratch resistant, not so much as sapphire, but it won´t crack, or shatter after a strong blow. Sapphire WILL.
@@uuuultra Someone said that after you open it first time, it will not be water proof anymore. Because of those screws in plastic. It doesn't seem reliable. How is yours?

I didn't like the red buttons nor the negative dial. So I put the positive display in the case of the black G9000-MS. Now it's my to go watch. I really like the details and it's the most comfortable watch I own.

Yo tampoco sé, cuando compré mi G9000 venía en una caja de cartón, pero cuando compré mi DW 5600E sí venia en una caja redonda metálica, y ese reloj fue lanzado mucho antes que el mudman.
@@ElProfeMoto Amigo.. gracias por tu respuesta, tambien he notado que las cajas de carton no son iguales, ejemplo mi G9000 vino en una de carton que trae un pequeño "stand" plastico donde el reloj va colocado con la correa del reloj ajustada sobre el.. y en este video veo que la caja es distinta.. mi G9000 es 100% Original me costo 60$ y lo compre en Amazon EEUU.. Si algun dia conoces la respuesta me avisas jejejeje.. saludos..!

I like it a lot because its small diameter and its retro 80,s style. My wrist is just 15 centimeters and an average G-shock is too big for me. I am really happy with this watch, althoug is not perfect because the strap is very large.
tried to change the battery and ended up destroying this watch. I am so upset. This was by far one of the most *indestructible* watch, until it came to change the battery

Still running strong after 6 yrs. I will pass it down to my son when he joins the army
This was my first G. I still wear it and it's in my regular watch rotation. Love the unit, plus I can take it all apart for cleaning.

It's a good and tough watch but it became old model in terms of specs, there are more advanced features in the new models!

G9000 size are medium, a bit bigger than DW5600 but feel firm when I wear it.

I have this mudman. Attractive but the strap seems to be a bit thin and flimsy . I have the G9100 gulfman and its strap looks more solid.
