Guests Robert Culp, James Gregory, Ty Hardin, and Grant Williams (the cast of the movie PT 109) vs. regulars Sebastian Cabot, Ross Martin, Beverly Garland, and Hans Conried.
Thanks for posting these "Stump the Stars" kinescopes; they're all great fun ( and the Chex cereal commercials with Lee Goodman are an extra bonus ). Mike Stokey brought the show back for the 1969-1970 season on a five-day-a-week "strip" syndication basis. This version featured Deanna Lund, Roger C. Carmel and Dick Patterson as regulars and was seen in Southern California on KTLA Channel 5 in Los Angeles. Do any tapes/kines exist of this updated version..? It's doubtful since videotape was reused frequently in those days.
Just discovered this show, so fun - thanks for posting all these!
Been watching episodes of this show, and I love it!
I love the way they just immediately light up cigarettes during the closing credits.

Around 8 years years ago, one episode from the 1969-70 season appeared on ebay. I believe it was a U-matic videotape. I lost out on the bidding.
The movie, PT 109, was completed and premiered in June, 1963, about 5 months before JFK was assassinated in November, 1963.
I'll take the Corn Chex.
Grant Williams was hilarious!
