Holy Smokes! Tonight my husband told us a story about winning suitcases and an upright freezer on Stump The Stars when he was 13 years old. My grown son didn't believe him, started pecking away on his phone and FOUND THIS CLIP! Amazing! Happy Thanksgiving!

The fabulous (and sparkling) Ruta Lee still is out there, too. (She is 82-83 years YOUNG (!) at the moment.)

Is this weird or what: I saw only a handful of episodes back in the day, this is the first one I've ever found on here, I actually remember vividly a couple of specific things from the episodes I saw -- and one of them is right here: the backwards proverb. There was just something mega-memorable for me about Beverly not having any idea what the thing was, even when the team started catching on to it -- and Ross Martin yelling out what the concept was, Beverly not answering, then Ross finally frustratedly blurting the last 2 words, first in the 'right' order (which was wrong) :-) -- and her saying she "DIDN'T HEAR IT" when he had yelled what the thing was. Priceless -- and you can imagine how it was for me to see this little thing that I remembered so vividly from 55 years ago....

...Back when I saw those few episodes I had no idea who any of the people were, except that they were on this show, until I saw "Uncle Tonoose" (Conreid) on Danny Thomas. Years later I caught on that Kaye was "Jubilation T. Cornpone," and recently was floored to see Ruta Lee on an old Perry Mason. I didn't need these people to have been anything except what they were on Stump the Stars to love this great show.

Lee Goodman spoke for Ralston on TV for over ten years (he also pitched their products on 'THE NAME'S THE SAME" and "ETHEL AND ALBERT" in the mid-1950's).

"Fractured Flickers" is a live-action syndicated half-hour television comedy show from 1963. Host Hans Conried introduced short "flickers" pieced together from silent film footage and from other older movies, overdubbed with newly written comic dialogue, music, and sound effects.

Wow! He had 15 minutes (or more) as the biggest thing and not a whisper of his memory remains (pretty much).

“Sarah Jachman, Sarah jachman, hows by you, hows by you?” Even President Kennedy was overheard singing that. How fleeting is fame!

Check out the album ," My Son , The Folksinger "album on UA-cam. He was also the voice of The Cat in the Hat in the 1971 cartoon of the same name. He also did a parody of the song "The 12 Days of Christmas" too.

Without Allan Sherman, there would not be a Wierd Al Yankovic.
