- When you don’t have the support, I don’t see how it’s even possible to succeed when you get out of prison. They release you with no ID, no nothing and expect you to find your way. You can’t get a job with livable wages, you can’t get a place to live and they wonder why so many people end back in prison. There has to be a better way. We need prison reform and I will speak out about it. For now, here’s my story…

You hit the nail on the head Sammy. As a former State & Federal inmate myself, I have no idea where I’d be today if I hadn’t had a support system in place when I got out. My friends and family got me a job while I was in the halfway house and I was able to get a car and eventually a place to live etc. Without that, I’d have had no choice but to get back into what I knew at the time. Which was crime. Thank god I was never put in that position or I’d undoubtedly be doing a long stretch now. You’re right there’s no rehabilitation in prison. You’re a name and a number to them. Especially in the privately run prisons. You’re cheap labor for them. They could care less if you come back or stay forever. You’re making them money.
Congrats man ! I’ve done some time nothing like you though . I was addicted to heroin at 18 & Im 29 now an I’ve been clean a little over 3 years . I chased my dream & drive race cars for a living now & not just for a hobby also im married with a 2 year old daughter . Keep your head down & continue your success brother👏🏻💯

Much more like it. This channel used to be the greatest on UA-cam. These dark lit room telling stories is by far the most interesting. Each to their own but I cant watch those mini reaction paint classes stuff. Don't let your crew bleep out the curses though.

Damn Sammy that really hits home. Having a support system after you’ve been locked up is a blessing. As a man when you get backed into a corner the outcome is never good for anybody. The world needs to be more kind. Or else there’s monsters and that’s it.

I think Sammy gets in these weird situations all the time because he's a rare breed.. there's no bulshit in him.. if he gives you his word.. that's all u need . Most people don't understand that.. yet it's just normal to him. If he tells you he's going to watch your bags . that's what he's going to do.

Man that sucks I'm glad you're a survivor a true survivor at that. This past June my father was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer which is leukemia and not the good kind. The rigmarole and the running around and the wading and the doctor's appointments I don't know worse that or actually fighting it or both.
Sammy's life has been a real roller coaster ride.

I have expressed the same sentiments about prisoners. It’s taken me 3 years to get the prison to give my cousin his medicine. I’m a nurse so I know what they’re supposed to be doing medically. It breaks my heart thinking about inmates without family support. (I bought some art you did in prison and it is truly coveted.)

Sammy bro I’m from Scotland and I hear exactly wat your saying I’ve left prison with nothing had no one and nothing in place for getting out no help from the government had to sleep on the street and they expect you to toe the line and live like a bum , I’ve tried to change my life and now I wanna help ex offenders getting some support getting out everybody deserves a chance and it ain’t gonna come from the government

Did Fed time I had a few thousand when I got out but I believe in myself and took my charges to the face. And now I am very successful Still standing and never give up!
This story is GREAT! He shows He took his punishment, did his time. HAS A GREAT FAMILY. This is a crazy statement…but I ADORE YOU. Always have! You really are a good guy deep inside you and I think that is why I have always had what I call a “celebrity crush” I don’t generally, but you how can we not!!

Sam, I think your story coming out of the joint is very similar to guys coming out of the military trying to adjust to dealing with all these civilian-types. The slightest bit of help can make a huge difference to people with high levels of ambition.

I got out of prison, 2 months ago, at USP Lee, 8 1/2 years its hard as fuck out here, can't get a job cause my criminal record, no family, no car, people I helped when I was good turned there back, I'm trying but I feel like its a trap, I don't want to sell roxys again, I'm about to break,
I did 14yrs. 7 months. They did the same to me. The probation officer Made me go to a shelter. An old friend sent me $7000.00. and set it up with hotel reservations. NO I was told. I Had to go to this shelter, that way They could watch me & report on my actions. Here I am with $7000.00 tied in a makeshift pouch tied to my Fuck'in balls in the slum. I Get it, I KNOW. Put it out there Sammy ❤️💯💪🤕
