Schwifty, Petyr DID try to kill Tyrion at the battle of the Blackwater. Who else could Mandon Moore have been ordered by?
Cersei, Joffrey, probably like 3 other people.
@@theyoungknight.3119 I feel like we would've learnt if it was Cersei considering we have seen her inner thoughts, and considering his threats concerning Tommen, trying to kill Tyrion with the Kingsguard may be the dumbest course of action for her to make.
It might be Joffrey, but I think a lot more speaks to Petyr being the puppetmaster. Both him and Moore come from the Vale, and Jon Arryn appointed ser Mandon to the Kingsguard, despite not really liking him, which could be a hint that he did that due to Littlefinger's influence on him via Lysa.
🎉🎉🎉🎉 0:01 0:01 🎉
Don't underestimate Tommen. He's a smart scheming kid.
Remember that time he wanted a kitten? Remember how he was negotiating? He made 3 demands: 2 silly unrealistic ones and the real one about kitties. Cersei, of course, got played, discarded the unrealistic ones, but allowed him to have kitties as a sweetener, exactly as Tommen planned.
Joffrey wasn't too nice to Tommen. And he was gonna marry a girl Tommen wanted. And he died a gruesome death at his wedding. Coincidence? Don't think so.
Cersei forced Tommen to whip his whipping boy, and she ended up in a dungeon, got a walk of punishment and is under trial. You think Tommen had nothing to do with it? Think again.
By Seven, all hail Tommen, first of his name!
This is like the jar jar sith lord theory

You forgot that he's holding azhor ahai (ser pounce) hostage. He also purposely lost his play fight with bran, because he saw in the flames that bran would be crippled so he wanted to make bran feel good about kicking his arse one last time so that when bran develops his tree powers, tommen could use those tree powers to his benefit.
These hacks are falsely advertising. They didn’t even talk about Hodor at all.
Hodor?
Buffy is on prime in America btw, I have also been meaning to watch it :|
I hate to admit, but Aegon believing about the wightwalkers could help support why “Bran” allowed the North to be independent again.
@@RowdyB16 "Buffy" is unironically amazing and the spinoff "Angel" is great too. If you're into sci-fi, check out "Firefly" from Joss Wheddon, as well. It was only on for 1 Season, but it became an instant cult classic. Cheers.
Yeah! And they placed Viserys in the chaotic corner although his whole dilemma is about him being lawful in a system that let him down and failing to adapt cause he lacks the chaotic energy xD - joking aside, fantastic stream. You guys always make my day! The Drakness joke destroyed me!

“Tyrion had rather liked Robert Baratheon, great blustering oaf that he was . . . doubtless in part because his sister loathed him so.” - Tyrion I, ACOK
To be fair, it seems most people who knew Robert liked him. He was a likable man. He laughed easily and enjoyed the traditional distractions that most people did; wine, women and song. He wasn't a conniver, he wore his feelings openly.
He didn't really make friends after the Rebellion but he would sit and drink and tell stories and whatever. Chill dude.
Robert, The Chill @@lostalone9320
On Robert Baratheon, there's implications that he has PTSD, causing a depression.
He notably says he dreams of the Battle of the Trident constantly.
Hard to tell for certain, because losing his outlet for calories, competition and personal connections probably also contributed to his sense of depression.
I have wondered if Robert has ptsd. The dreams and drinking. Would love to find out more about the Greyjoy rebellion to see how a lot of characters interact.
Robert fulfills every diagnostic criteria for PTSD, so he does have PTSD.
People get ptsd from falling down the stairs nowadays, and not to downplay modern combat veterans ptsd but imagine actually getting up close and caving someone with a hammer as they scream and bleed, it's alot worse than a sniper shot I imagine
Robert 100% had PTSD, and it is worth remembering that he never had any inkling that there might be more to Lyanna's disappearence. From his perspective the pretty boy son of the mad king abducted and raped his beloved fiance, he righteously rebelled and killed them all, but nothing could bring back all that he had lost.
Robert's rebellion destroyed Robert. He "won" but part of him hates his victory, doubly so as he is forced to play politics instead of doing cool knightly things. He wastes the realms money on feasts and tournaments because, from his perspective, these are the only things that make it worth being king.
He does treat Cersei badly but... How would you expect a man like Robert to respond to a political marriage after losing Lyanna? He has a duty to have heirs, but he obviously loathes Cersei, or at least loathes the fact that he had to marry her.
And lets be real, Robert wasn't an idiot. He at least suspected about Cersei and Jamie. And he just... Didn't care. Because why would he?
It does make me wonder how much Robert changed during the rebellion. A young Robert was certainly more gregarious than Ned, but was he hurling himself into brothels all his life? Considering how crazy he was for Lyanna, it makes me think he was more romantic, and then when Lyanna was lost he turned to macho over compensation. Even years later he called Cersei Lyanna in bed. Makes me think there were a lot of wenches with Starky features who experienced the same.
It's also said that Renly was like Robert born again; Renly who was courtly and charismatic and certainly not to be found in the company of young women. The two brothers looked alike, but perhaps young Robert was more reserved too. I also wonder whether Tywin (notoriously anti whore) would have married Cersei to Robert if he had always had that reputation.
My point is that we only see Robert later in life, with all these wounds to his soul. He did terrible things in a righteous cause, and for what?
I suppose by that time in his life he was a bit chaotic, and perhaps a bit evil. But that's not the man he really was.
It's hard to be lawful when your king is so awful you have no choice but to rebel. It's hard to be good when the only reward is an infestation of Lannisters.
@@miketrujillo3677Hey being a little btch about how people get ptsd because it isn't impressive enough for you is really ignorant actually.
1:33:57 About "justice vs revenge", my favourite case studies to compare (using show scenes/quotes here but it's basically the same in the books) is Oberyn Martell vs Rickard Karstark. When Oberyn volunteers to be Tyrion's champion he says "And what about what I want? Justice, for my sister and her children" and his pursuit of justice isn't just about killing Gregor and Tywin, it was about getting a confession first, and about punishing those who actually wronged his sister - it's specifically 'justice for Elia', not just 'justice'.
When Karstark is confronted by Robb for killing the Lannister squires he says "Not murder, Your Grace, vengeance!" and his pursuit of vengeance led him to killing innocent children thinking he was getting back at Jaime when really Jaime didn't even know and probably didn't care. In reality it was just to make himself feel better. Both can be emotionally driven but revenge is for personal gain whereas justice is fundamentally about righting wrongs. In my opinion at least.
Love that :D
In my opinion the difference between vengeance and justice is both intent and level of retribution. For example, Arya murdering Walder Frey for the red wedding was justice, punishing someone who escaped the consequences of their actions, but murdering the entire Frey family most of which were innocent is just vengeance.
@@cleothehermetichermeticist8391 A good point and an interesting example. I would agree someone's intent is important to deciding if their actions are justice or revenge. Where I'd disagree is I would say Arya's motive for killing Walder Frey was still revenge. By my "definition" she is doing it for personal gain, to maker herself feel better - look at the grin on her face and the satisfaction she gets from doing it! By your "definition" her intent I would say was above getting revenge, getting back at the people who hurt her (which she sees as all the Freys). However that's not to say Walder didn't get what was coming to him because he did break a sacred law to betray the Starks, so what he got was deserved. So that leads me to ask can an act of vengeance sometimes be just..?
In the real modern world, if someone kills their their parents' murderer I would still describe that as wrong and as an act of revenge. It's taking the law into your own hands. I would say for it to be justice there needs to be due process, evidence or a confession. That's partly why I'm defining justice as more than just killing the right person, it's finding the actual truth. But yeah I totally agree "intent" plays a big role - Oberyn intended to get a confession and to implicate Tywin on more than just his hunch.
Something we can both agree on is that murdering the entire Frey family was totally unjust and was all for vengeance. It's a shame the show portrayed that as a badass moment and a win rather than the tragedy of a child ending up making these choices and taking these actions, and the massive injustice of what she did. It's a shame there were never any consequences for her actions, both politically in the greater world due to a big house being wiped out entirely, and also emotionally the impact doing something like that could have on a child (she's still 17 I think by show canon).
Thanks for the interesting reply :)
@@samc9516 great takes
I’d argue about the Jeor placement, I feel like he’s actually more lawful than Ned, cause he kinda despises his son and wishes he was executed and views his escape as a dishonourable action, so he’s definitely less into family stuff and more into honour stuff. He’s like a smart version of barristan Selmy
I agree, but also agree the issue is we don’t know as much about his backstory
@@shannond7437 I thought the crimes of Jorah transferred to Jeor when Jorah fled punishment.
@@wesmantooth32 Yes isn't that why he joined The Watch?
@@wesmantooth32 I don’t think so, I believe when Jorah got married the first time he just wanted his son to be lord and the night’s watch is still an honor in the north. He feared for the dwindling numbers and lack of leadership I think so he joined. Not every brother of the watch is a former criminal ie Benjen (probably), and Jon.
@@samanthabogen9639 no I think he joined the watch before all the Jorah stuff
“Tywin didn’t go to the watch when he got old” Jeor and Tywin could not be less similar, the fact that Jeor gave up his position for a son that disappointed him is incredibly fitting for his character.
Also the person who takes over for Tywin by law is Tyrion, and Tywin obviously hates that.
A presumably unintentional mirror image there.
Balerion died 208 years after leaving Valyria, but we have no idea how old he was when he left Valyria.
1:51:32 c'mon guys Joffrey literally opened a pregnant cat's belly. It was not the right aproach from Robert but those were literal medieval times.
I would say the better defense of Robert there is that he probably literally did not think about hitting Jeffrey just because of how horrific what joffrey did was. Because the thing is it really doesn't matter if it's medieval times when weve never heard about his best friend Ned hitting his kids. And we saw enough of his point of view to say pretty clearly he didn't.
@@sampagano205 who is Jeffrey?
@@BasedOttoHightower Jeffrey Epstein
@@sampagano205 yeah a lot of people would have done that out of reflex against an act so vile.
Societal standards do matter though - Robert did the same thing that any parent in Westeros would have. That makes the act morally neutral, no matter how we perceive it. We see it as wrong, but he doesn't, same way he doesn't see it as wrong to stave Rheagar's chest in with a warhammer.
Consider this - We are weirdly tolerant of all the incest that goes on in Westeros. And we are utterly permissive of adultery. Our world is sexually liberated, so we just have a little ick about stupid sexy Matt Smitch macking on his niece, but we accept it as part of the setting, and we simply don't care at all about Robert's bastards.
Societal standards matter to the characters. Their morality has to be taken in the context of the world they live in.

Joffrey threw the entire realm into civil unrest because he decided to take Ned's head *after* it was already discussed that he would spare him to the Nightswatch. But I guess starting a surprise civil war across the realms isn't very chaotic? Interesting logic.
It's heavily implied that little finger nudged Joffrey into killing Ned
@@runescapeowns8734 he also probably didn't need much pushing.
I would argue Gregor's alignment as being "Neutral Evil" on the basis that he does what he is told by authority figures, but also performs unlawful, evil acts at his discretion outside of his orders, or when he has no orders. So, by definition, he is indifferent to the law; he will adhere to laws when it suits him, and disregard the law when it suits him.
He didnt have to rape and absolutley mutilate Ellia Martell and her kids. Thats his chaotic self. So closer to Chaotic than Neutral.
He does follow orders, which kinda makes him lawful (lawful means following a set of rules, not necessarily the law).
@@gokbay3057 He also disregards orders and rapes/gang rapes like with the innkeeper’s daughter and that’s chaotic. He was also known to kill his squires in fits of rage and that’s also chaotic.
@@gokbay3057 He also commits evil acts without being ordered to.
Joffery is definitely more chaotic and evil than Drogo.
I
hard to be more evil than the leader of a horde that devours nations when you are a 13 yr old brat, put drogo in westeros in the war of the 5 kings and youd have tywin razing the riverlands times 100, because dothraki never stop fighting, hed just find another place to conquer, the lannisters win the war and thats it.
More evil probably but not more chaotic. His mind is chaotic, but he promotes the following of the rules (mostly for others and not him of course but still).
@@ledernierutopiste It's very similar to Tywin. It's the most accurate portrayal of lawful evil you can get.

“Did Renly ever make Loras bust hands free?” Lmaoo 😂😂
Asking the important lore questions tbh.
What I wanna see in a future livestream is unlikely pairings. Stuff like who would have been the best dad for Sam if we got to choose, or which characters who have never met would be the best of friends. Only problem with this is that Rodrik Harlaw would be one half of every pairing, he's just too based. Like, imagine if Tyrion and Sam were Rodrik's sons, they'd get to grow up with a dad who loves reading hello?? What if Theon's foster father was Robert instead of Ned (he'd fit right in in King's Landing with his love of hunting and brothels). Thanks for the stream, loved it!
That's a great idea ! Love it!
cant stop thinking about this lol, perfect dad for cersei obviously aerys, she would be even madder when she got passed over on her right to rule, and she could still screw her brother in rhaegar and it wouldnt even be illegal. jaime would be left out tho since his perfect dad would be some knightly guy like selmy, who we know he liked and admired.
the red viper would be a great dad for asha, a learned guy who is also a fierce fighter who does whatever he wants
I hope you continue these because there's some juicy characters you've omitted from the list so far.
Hot Pie. Meera and Jojen Reed. Tormund. Ygrette. Mance Rayder. Craster. Walder Fray. Shay. Young Griff.
Just goes to show how many great characters are in the books. I keep realising huge omissions and thinking "how did I forget them?"

I’d be curious to see where they’d place Dolorous Edd as well 😂 and Val

Jeor volunteered because he believed it was the honourable thing to do, and believed Jorah would be a good heir in his stead.
Not everyone is on The Wall for wrongdoing.
The North definitely sees the Wall as a viable and even noble calling, much moreso than the other kingdoms. Still, I do think it's pretty remarkable that a firstborn lord or heir would volunteer, and things are rarely that straightforward in GRRM's universe, but I doubt we will get confirmation either way.
Back in the old days it was honourable and nights watch was well respected something like that.
And even their comment about some hidden tragedy is in and of itself the fact Jeor was a good dude. Jeor was a completely innocent man, trying to remain useful after his son took his position, and then his son had to leave Westeros entirely which meant Jeor had to give up the final years of his life sitting in the frozen north doing nothing. Jeor sacrificed the peace and comfort of his final years for nothing, because his whole purpose for heading to the wall was made completely moot.
@@LordMangudai What makes it remarkable? It doesn't sound like Bear Island is all that much nicer a place to live than the Wall is, and there isn't much for an old man to do as lord of such a place. Taking the black is a perfectly sensible thing to do, especially if you believe in the tales of white walkers like many northern lords seem to.
@@tiredidealist Even on a boring rock a lord still has power and comfort.
Disagree entirely with Tywin's placing, he the closest to lawful evil. His personal code of "Lannisters must be respected" is expressed as "submit or suffer". It's all about dominating. His worst atrocities come from others' refusal to submit, and such hierarchical views of the world are generally lawful. Also his career as Hand of the King generally suggests his successful use of existing systems to further his own ends, until up against the wall of Aerys' madness. I don't think the hypocrisy of embracing his vice can cancel out that mindset, though it means he might not make it into a corner like Euron and Brienne.
"He's horrible and done atrocious things and the fact that he is an important person just shows how bad the system is. BUT HE HAD HIS REASONS! HE BELIEVED THEY SHOULD'VE SUBMIT TO HIM AND THEY DIDN'T! SO HE'S ACTUALLY LAWFUL!"
Tywin is Tony Soprano of Westeros

@@jordanthomas7702 Piss takes on GOT, mind you. Not piss their pants that the Author doesn't focus on what they like.
I kinda like knowing the targaryens thought their reign would protect the world from white walkers, like they had mythologized their reason for being in westeros as one with noble intentions to justify the actual brutality of their conquest, a lot of real world countries did/do that too.
Japan didn’t, they invaded China and committed atrocities because they wanted an empire.
I believe Jeor Mormont went to the Nights Watch voluntarily, specifically to give the Lordship to his son.
So when Jorah fucked up he left the sword, because he no longer felt worthy to carry his houses weapon and so it was given back to the previous owner, his father.
In any case, the old bear is one the coolest and most badass characters in both the books and the show.
Benjen joined the Watch because he was a younger brother with no chance to inherit and as a Stark wanted to set an example for the rest of the North.

I was waiting for this with baited breath! More of these long streams pls
1:54:16 I feel like stannis having the reputation of being made of iron is actually just down to his being really bad at communicating his desire to compromise. Like he will compromise, but he will present his compromise like he will hate your guts and want you dead for all time that you made him offer it.
In addition to this, being made of iron describes him perfectly in book 2, I would argue. He was so rigid in his convictions that he refused to hear the council of anyone who didn't reinforce his dualistic worldview. His utter dismissal of Cathlyn's suggestion to at least wait til the Lannisters are dealt with to squabble over this crown is what lost him the Blackwater.
I agree, I also feel like it’s maybe something that’s changed about Stannis over time. Like maybe in recent times he has become less iron compared to before the events of the books.
Renly being further down the Evil scale than Stannis bugs me a bit considering who had whom murdered with dark magic during an agreed-upon ceasefire...
Also stannis is probably going to burn some children at some point
Renly is so much more chaotic than they put him. He cheats on his wife and starts a war with his own family because he feels like it'll make him feel good.
rewatching thiis and your collab streams are so slay fr
"art is a psyop to make you think feelings are real" omg brilliant haha
Won’t be satisfied until Ser Pounce makes the list.
Jeor is probably on the Wall bc he got old and there’s that whole northern tradition where the old men leave in winter. Wanted to leave bear island to Jorah. That’s always how I’ve thought about it at least, I’m not sure if it’s talked about in the books.
Drogo's apartments in Pentos are a reference to... I think it was the Bulgars? There was some historical, steppe, horsey raidy people that basically got soft-powered to extinction. They operated quite like the Dothraki, where they would go to wealthy cities to get bribed to go away. Eventually, these cities started giving them places to live, with servants and stuff. And wives. And suddenly, you're like, "Wait a minute... Why should I go out there and raid when I can stay in this city and live in luxury?" And the next thing you know, you're not a Khan anymore -- you're just living in this city, and your people have fallen to in-fighting in your absence, and no one's getting raided!
So, yeah, I'm pretty sure that's why Drogo has that apartment.
That's the case for almost all nomadic peoples who become conquering masters of a large area. It happened to the mongols who became Islamised and sinosised, the magyars who eventually became the kingdom of Hungary, and the turks who eventually saw themselves as the new Romans instead of nomads.
You know what I find ironic about the idea that Euron killed Balon? If you look at the histories, it actually makes sense for Balon to have killed their dad Quellon. Quellon's death was super-convenient, happening like the same day he decided to join Robert's Rebellion after sitting it out for like a year.
I can't wait for the Rogue Prince to say 'it's Morbin Time' and morb the stepstones.

Also the audio on both sides is clean and crisp, so they're obviously not talking through discord like they did before.
i love you guys please never stop
Love you're guy's theory discussions. When you two talk asoiaf in general it's just amazing content lol
Unfortunately the “popular” interpretation of what the mountain did to Onella has been somewhat confirmed since the actress has said that was the scene she was originally meant to act out instead of being waterboarded.
Wish you guys streamed later! Happy to catch the VOD
In the books the way daeny remembers Viserys is pretty sad and sympathetic
i'd genuinely be delighted to see y'all talk about buffy
Can confirm that searching ‘Glimbus’ on YT yields Lord Glidus’ wares.
Thoroughly enjoy these, btw!
This was already suggested on the Glidus video, but playing "Guess Who" with these characters would be a great idea.
the dune version of this chart is gonna have an extremely crowded Lawful Evil section
33:12 You guys should get a bunch of ASOIAF youtubers together to talk to have a discussion about the series and just why you love it or whatever you want to talk about honestly its so nice to hear others prospectives and discussion where they might see something one way and you another whether its expectations, theories, how certain character arcs should be, where the story will be going, do it!! Im part lf the one piece community and they have something similar called the reverie where many one piece youtubers get together and discuss together its really nice the whole community looks forward too and if all of the GOT community follow all of you im sure they would love to see everyone interact with each other!
Sandor is very like Jamie in that he feels the need to live down to his own bad reputation but would probably be a good person if given the opportunity.
Sandor Clegane is like The Hanged Man in Disco Elysium, a deeply hurt person who does not know how to emotionally process how awful the things he did were, so they just try to fake being a horrible monster until they make it.
Also do a video on disco Elysium.
Thing is... Being a monster makes life super easy, especially when you are really good at violence.
When you are already quite intimidating and can back that up with steel, the only way to be "good" is to deliberately make things harder for yourself.
So just stick to being a monster, at least you get to achieve something.
You two are my favorites. Keep on keeping on
why is no one talking about renly and loras superchat😭😭😭😭😭😭
I'm kind of hoping that they cast Carice van Houten (with her natural dark hair instead of a red wig) to play Alys Rivers but never have her mention Rh'llor or do anything to confirm that she is playing the same character as Melisandre.
That would honestly be dope, I know not everyone would like that but I'd love it
Please tell me the Buffy review discussion wasn’t just a joke; that absolutely needs to happen!
Viserys is just homelander without flight.
Goddamnit.1 min in and as someone who's never heard Alt Schwift X's natural speaking voice, it pains me to know that I'll never get an audio-book series of him and Quinn from Quinn's Ideas reading alternating entries from Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen decology. I've watched your channel for years, but today is the day I subscribe. Thank-you for doing what you do and being great at it.
if benjen was gay then i’d argue the nights watch would be a great place for him. no women, surrounded by dudes, in the far north where everyone’s trying to stay warm
The Jeor bit at 23:26 is the hardest I have ever laughed at asoiaf.
Gli-guy, Lo-fi girl got a copyright strike, and you two are the next best thing. Jokes aside you're a couple of buttery voices that bounce off each-other without echo.
“Revenge is the friends we met along the way” hahaha
The Stannis section is exactly why I think Stannis is one of the best characters in the setting, very complicated, means well and does bad things to do well. He's the only leader who openly puts two and two together, he needs to look after the people, not the chair, but he'll go about it as dirty as anything.
Yes. I did wake up to Glidus screaming
But then i realized you were talking about tywin and i rewound it to the beginning lol
Seeing you guys play the GOT Telltale game would be fun
That was fun, I want more after HOTD season! 🇧🇷
The Victorian chapters at the end of dance are comedy gold. Check out the audio book. Brilliant.
A Buffy analysis collab would be a dream honestly. It's such a good show that was way ahead of its time.
I think Tywin is the most lawful evil character because he uses the law to achieve his goals. He wants Tyrion dead the whole time but he can’t just kill him because it’s against the law, so he waits until he can get him legally executed and then campaigns against him
The Toast of London reference out of nowhere killed me. Thanks for that.
Lawful vs Chaotic isn't how much chaos the person causes, it's about how much they respect and follow social conventions, customs, laws, and rules.
Good vs evil isn't necessarily about behavior, but intent and motivation. Good characters are motivated by helping others and doing the right thing. Evil characters are motivated by furthering their own position and getting what they want. They can be wrong about what's right - motivation's what matters.
Using the law to further your own goals doesn't make you lawful, and causing chaos doesn't make you chaotic.
Khal Drogo is quite lawful in that he follows his culture's laws and customs very closely, possibly aside from marrying Daenerys and then deciding (after some convincing) to conquer Westeros. He's definitely more lawful evil than chaotic evil - evil because he does things for his own benefit and doesn't display almost any altruism.
Victarion similarly follows his culture very closely. There's very little chaotic about him. He's too dumb to even understand the concept of social conventions, much less question them. (EDIT: Whoops, you had him under Lawful.)
Jon is quite lawful, but he's clearly willing to bend rules and even change them completely. He's neutral-ish good.
Catelyn is slightly lawful. She cares about tradition, family, and culture, but is apparently willing to bend rules a bit when she genuinely believes someone tried to murder her son.
Viserys is quite lawful. He thinks he's supposed to be the king, so he wants to be the king. He is obsessed with his family and their traditions.
It's interesting to look at the macro placement pattern. For example, there are many more evil characters in ASOIAF than there are good characters. Also, many more chaotic than lawful. It says something about the nature of the storytelling. I don't know what....but something
My two favorite UA-camrs!
Love the dynamic between you two. Probably start watching House of Dragons if only for your follow ups.
26:49 One of the largest easy to fix failures was not giving us wight Hodor in the long night. That would have given us the feels missing in that episode!
Tywin fits better in the lawful evil corner. He only applies evil when he feels it is necessary and for a purpose, not because he enjoys it. His rule as hand of the king under Aerys ii was considered so successful that people no longer took the king himself seriously.
Although Tywin's reaction to his father was unnecessarily harsh, there was certainly some truth in it. His father gave "loans" that might as well have been gifts, considering how his own bannermen weren't planning on paying him back. The Lannisters were almost bankrupt, without power or respect. What people forget is that Lord Tytos was so much of a little bitch that he gave his daughter Genna to Walder Frey's fourth son because he could not bear to hurt his feelings. Without Tywin, House Lannister would have collapsed long ago.
It is unfortunate that he did not see the qualities of his brightest son and harmed him completely unnecessarily.
Well, yes, if you type Glimbus on UA-cam you'll see first Glidus videos, which makes him the Odin of youtubers. Has as many names are they are ways to piss
Hi Schwifty, you should really watch The Foundation tv series, its really good! I would love to see your analysis of it, its full of really nice symbolism and nice complex themes about politics, religion, sentience etc! Greetings from Belgrade!
Yes please to the Swift Glidus Buffy Review. Not nearly enough buffy content on youtube, and ya'll are the best.
I really don't think Littlefinger became who he was just because of Catelyn. Maybe the woman issues sure, but the power hungry thing seems to just be him. Maybe partly became his attitude when he got to kings landing (cause that will do that to a person)
I watched and enjoyed the entirety of both streams, I appreciated your insights, and I think nearly every placement on this chart is catastrophically incorrect
I think neutral evil would describe a lot of the characters in A song of ice and fire, immoral and self-interested
Lawful/Chaotic should be the Y axis because chaos is a ladder 😉
Also, I'm also in the boat of "didn't see the show, didn't read the books, watches both of you" lol. I have little to no interest in spending so much hours on the actual thing (at least until it's finished) but I still think it's interesting and you definitely talk about it in a very thoughtful and methodical way. I probably wouldn't be able to notice half of the things you talk about.
I also have a pathological need for basically useless knowledge and I love listening to people just being passionate about nerdy and complicated things. It's just listening to interesting stories told by someone who is a good storyteller heh.
I 100% agree with doing The Great Council of ASOIAF UA-camrs when TWOW comes out.
