It was honestly insane what Kyler did at Allen. He taught us through his actions on the football field that the playoffs were the buildup to the semi finals. Those were always the best games which would inevitably decide who took home the crown, Allen came back from large deficits 2 years in a row in some of the best football games I had ever seen in my life. Going into the state championship, everyone in Allen knew that we had seen everything this state had to offer, and the state championship was just a way to cap off the season on a high note and reward the football team for putting together a historic playoff run. It's like it wasn't even a real game, just a ceremony made to congratulate Allen.
RNTcomeback Texas takes football seriously (some would say too seriously). For example, Allen High School spent $60 million on a football stadium. If you search it on youtube you can see how ridiculously extravagant it is (Allen Eagle Stadium). Too bad Texas ranks toward the bottom on actually educating kids (39th).
So happy you can hear the band. Wish the other team's band didn't sit out after the second half was almost done. I've seen a lot of bands sit when their team is losing. I feel like they should be standing for their team to the end.
Heh. Our director makes sure we play all game pretty much non-stop. ^^' I was actually sad that your band wasn't playing the last half. Your team was really good, I think morale or stress must have got to them in the end, because they certainly gave us some tight competition first half. Y'all definitely have what it takes to take state. We better watch out for you guys next season, hope your band keeps everyone pumped up next time. :)
Texas high school football is very good. Texas does football right, but what they do the very best is.......brag. The biggest things in Texas are egos. A decade ago, my Cincinnati area high school team played the defending Texas big school champ, in an arranged match up in Ohio. We kicked their ass. I admit, they had to travel to Ohio or no game, because we would not have had the extra money to travel to Texas. Too bad there isn't more ways to gauge who's really best. It's only high school, but sometimes that's the most passionate and satisfying level of all.
Native born Texan here. The top high school Texas football teams have been beaten by other states high school teams in early season non-district games. I think the difference is that there are so many good Texas teams state wide with huge multiple million dollar stadiums in comparison to other states. I believe it was IMG who soundly beat Duncanville a few years ago who was the top Texas team at that time. So yeah, even the top Texas teams are not unbeatable by non Texas teams. But the money that’s spent on Texas high school football is pretty outrageous. And many times Texas coaches literally run the entire school with a lot of political power and many times it’s at the detriment of other programs. Unfortunately I’ve seen that way many times. So to say that football is big in Texas is very true, but that’s not necessarily a good thing. But I don’t see that ever changing any time soon.
Jon Jaxxson I agree. I've had a great chance to have a class with him and his dad also agrees he should do MLB. he could go right out of high school and even if he does get hurt he's still gurenteed that season pay. And if he does get hurt he could pay for collage easaly
So it goes 1A 2A etc all the way up to 6A. Then with the bigger class divisions they divide it into two brackets where the Division ll and Division l comes into play.
My team, Langham Creek (in Cy Ranch's district), was the only team that beat Cy Ranch last year, and they went to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. Man, I wish we could've made it this far...
well seeing as how Euless Trinity sent De La Salle home shocked, and the Trojans didn't even win a playoff game that year, you can kindof tell what state is king in football.
that Fox announcer (chris) must have learned to talk with marbles in his mouth,,, wonder if all the announcers talk that way,,, warble,, warble,,, with marbles
That's not out of any facts whatsoever. You can think that, but the 2014 Allen Eagles were ranked #1 in the nation by Maxpreps top 25 and number 4 in the nation through the national High school rankings. So basically, you really don't have any idea what you're talking about, and are only saying that because California football is what you know
5 year later in the nfl
For real?

American sports are a different level. This is High School?
Yep

Leggo My Ego it's really not that great, its big yea but there are bigger.
+Jj Price it's for a fucking highschool team..
I know I go there
27:17 is one of the greatest Touchdowns i have ever seen. Booker gets stopped then the whole team pushes him into the end zone. Beautiful
Eagles took notes 😂

That's sad. :( Bands should get to be pumped and support their teams with hella fun stand tunes til the end to make the best of things, win or lose.

I hope so too, I'd love to hear more of your band's stand tunes. :3
We never did that we played throughout the game win or loss
When are you going to post this year's state games?
Anyone else realize Jaylen Guyton is a NFL receiver aswell?
I had front row seats but Kyler played great

a decade is quite a while
This last decade and you generalising over that? Lmaooo nigga fuck up

You are right about that
“Cut Kyler lose.” Sounds like a good plan lol
I was expecting the Dillon Panthers...
Allen Eagles: the 21st Century Mojo Panthers
For the people who watched Kyler play in high school , did y’all ever think he would win a heisman?
Easily
I was there :)
8:02 thats a nfl pass from a 17 year old
That was insane!!!
Kyler Football. Can't wait to see him in the Maroon & White at Kyle Field this fall! Whoop!
Hopefully he'll get picked up in the MLB draft...
So I won't have to see him in Maroon & White.
Jon Jaxxson I agree. I've had a great chance to have a class with him and his dad also agrees he should do MLB. he could go right out of high school and even if he does get hurt he's still gurenteed that season pay. And if he does get hurt he could pay for collage easaly
how'd that work out for you? hahahahahaha
Jeremy Mendoza now hes in red playing in the nfl
Is this Arizona kyler Murray?
yes
ok whats the 6a mean? Theres division II 1A and then division I 6A.... i dont get it. whats the biggest championship?
So it goes 1A 2A etc all the way up to 6A. Then with the bigger class divisions they divide it into two brackets where the Division ll and Division l comes into play.
division 1 class 6a is the biggest schools
toooo damn many schools in my state of Texas,,, that is why there are 2 divisions in each class,,,
allen winstreak ended at 57 if u were wondering
A up!!
My team, Langham Creek (in Cy Ranch's district), was the only team that beat Cy Ranch last year, and they went to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. Man, I wish we could've made it this far...
Shocking
at 37:15 he didn't make the catch but they ruled it a completion it hit the ground
Jerry Jones predicted the future
I just like Allen
Allen has the same fight song as Ohio State?
Yeah
Is this Highschool
Yes
I would have gone to cy ranch but the built a school closer to where I live and I got zoned there
I'm going to ranch I live in cypress Texas
me to
+Ethan Henderson salyards?
god damn murray got a fucking arm lol
That's why he won the Heisman
To bad Murray went to A&M.........................now he knows what losing is lol
+Clifford Jones he's now playing for Oklahoma
+Hero why did he switch
Cesar Galvez
as far as I know he wasn't feeling it at A&M and wanted a better programm (not 100% sure tho)
16:10 Kyler was so cocky there
I feel bad because ill always associate Allen with a 60 million dollar stadium they weren’t able to use when it was first built 🤣
Lol wait was that the one that was sinking immediately after it was built? I remember reading one of them did that lmao
Jesse Pawlusiak not entirely sure, it could’ve been , i just remember the stadium got built and the structure ended up being completely unsafe
Texas High School football is superior
I go to Cy ranch 😂
NORTH SHORE SHOULD HAVE BEEN HER
lol yall got in this last year. Ranch beat yall in 2014. dont be salty
them vs de LA sella
Who is that?
well seeing as how Euless Trinity sent De La Salle home shocked, and the Trojans didn't even win a playoff game that year, you can kindof tell what state is king in football.
Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey is 2-0 vs De La Salle and 2-0 vs. St Thomas Aquinas. Your state needs to get out more...
24juice22 no, other states need to start playing us more. Not our fault theres so much competition within our state
Trinity plays old school smash mouth football and its great to watch
I like football but not this way
that Fox announcer (chris) must have learned to talk with marbles in his mouth,,, wonder if all the announcers talk that way,,, warble,, warble,,, with marbles
They need to play a good team. lol
Judson should have been here and trust me, it would have been a good game
De la Salle or corona centennial would beat both of these teams just saying.
Juan Cruz are you on crack?
Gothebeaast Never in my life done drugs, and you?
+Juan Cruz And cedar hill bishop Gorman would beat both of them. who gives a shit?
+Evan Monast Who?
You're dumb.
Allen would get destroyed by any top 15 teams in California. In Cali, we don't play. We win.
No, most texas teams would demolish average cali teams
True dat
+Labor Dave bs..

Cause University isn't just 1 pure state. Also we got Baylor, TCU, Tech, and A&M. Other than that we don't got much.
