I teach at Canadian HS. These young men were very hard working. Most of them were excellent students too. Tanner was a great student, a fine young man, smart as a whip, hard working. Manny Salas was a great student in chemistry, went to State UIL also in science.
I'm from Borger and one of my buddies has a nephew that played on Wellington's state title team. Some good panhandle football going on. Canadian and Wellington represented well.
Canadian is a really great town I stayed out their when I worked on the rigs since I lived in Oklahoma everyone in that town was always talking about their team. Great environment
