  • Looking for exercises that will increase your speed and first step quickness? A sled can be a great tool for building more speed and acceleration. I like using sled bounding exercises to help the athlete learn how to cover more ground quickly when they sprint as well as develop the hip separation necessary for a fast first step. This drill is very technical and will take a lot of practice. This video points out the key technique aspects of perfecting the sled bounding exercise.
