Hann, that shy boy but damn when he plays his music, he just let it all out like you'd never know how shy and quite and cute he is when he's not holding that guitar. music is amazing and the 1975 is everything.
Seriously underrated track, so fucking powerful. Imagine if it got a music video, would be interesting to see what direction they'd take with a mostly instrumental track.
This video is THE music video we'll ever get, also it's mostly an instrumental track and songs like these never really get a music video you know. Sad life.
I'm 51 and have been a complete audiophile for decades; heard it all, seen every band.... That might be the greatest display of live music I've ever seen. Jesus Christ.
Honestly, they have one of the best live act from all of the bands I've seen.. The way it's such a big beautiful production but still feels very intimate and personal. How the crowd knows and sings along every word to their songs. The passion that radiates, not just from the band, but from the crowd as well. It's so touching. Even when you don't like their music - there is so much to respect.
How therapeutic it must be to get truly lost in a song while you play the heck out of your guitar on top of a huge amp screaming at the top of your lungs.
Their music is like a memories of youth, when you could drink a lot of alcohol, have fun with good girls, do a lot of drugs and don't care about all the shit that's going on, like taxes and politics. Good ol times.
I can’t explain how this song makes me feel. Defo needs to be listened to with headphones in or when driving. It makes me love life but feel emotional and want to cry at the same time.......
And you said I've lost my head Can you see it, can you see it? Belly aches while you're in bed Can you feel it, can you feel it? And you said I've lost my head Can you see it, can you see it? Belly aches while you're in bed Can you see it, can you see it?
I am 43, from Thailand I grew up with 80s-90s music. I came across to their music last year through the recommendation by UA-cam since then I became a fan of The 1975. They are so authentic , smart in ways they communicate through the music. to be honest, at the beginning I did not expect that music they created would so creative but now i keep replaying every single of them every day , what does that mean ? :D they remind me 80s' childhood memory . In the remembrance of old time there is something in their music incredibly refresh my soul !
Hello greetings from Peru. You are right in everything you say, this band transmits through its music "nostalgia" of those wonderful years. I hope you are well, it would be great if we could talk
That girls reaction and sigh at 2:35 basically sums up how I feel about this song, this video, and really, this band. It's why they've been my favourite band for 7 years.
i admire their music and artistry so, so much. it’s beautiful and amazing and it feels so nostalgic in some way - it’s just amazing. i don’t have words
This song is the exception that proves the rule that the 1975 are not a rock band...but they could be a fucking God damn great one if they felt like it.
i always regretted not going to this o2 show, and felt so upset that i'd probably never see this song live. the last time i watched this video i was probably imagining what could've been. this song overwhelms you with wonder, euphoria, loss, nostalgia - everything. clicking on this video again, i feel so happy now, knowing that i went to their o2 show in 2020 right before the pandemic, and got to experience this song live, finally. i was in the second row and i could feel the fuckin music and see the passion from up close. i don't think i can describe how it feels live. i'm so glad the 1975 switch up their setlists sometimes to bring in parts of their older eras
I'm impressed how comprehensive this show was, in that they included instrument-heavy deep cuts like this song and the ILIWYS title track. Spectacular performance.
The 1975 really is my favorite band. Not just for the music, but the band as a whole. Matty is one of the most intellectual people I've ever seen and his thought process is so unique but it's very similar to my own, and I find comfort in knowing that I'm not the only human being that thinks in such a hopeful, yet almost nihilistic way.
This song proves the power & magic of music. You can literally feel the emotion in your whole body while listening to it. So much real Emotion and Soul …simply beautiful 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
dear 2020, its been 3 years and it hasn't made 1 million views.. WHY? this is the song I always INTENTIONALLY play when I drive to Bandung around KM 95-105, the road is surrounded by mountain, it always get dark and misty .. when this song is playing, its really hypnotic..
I wish the drums were more like this on the album version. Obviously the album version is great but I feel like the drums at the end could be louder and heavier like this version
This song hits different when you are crying in your bed at 3am feeling lost and lonely, thinking you've messed up really bad and you don't know if you'll ever feel good again
I truly believe the live version is so much better (not that the album version is bad, the fact it is amazing is why I'm here in the first place), it conveys the emotion of the song so much more and in such a more intense way. Specifically O2 version
I’m glad yet kinda sad that I just fell in love with their music (only a year ago they performed on my city and I didn’t go because I wasn’t that into them) and I’ve known them for a while but damn, this day will be remembered as the day that I found one of the greatest bands ever.
That girl's reaction at 2:37 hit me so hard. It's as if it had been the same reaction everybody would have had bein there experiencing this whole, inexplicable, beautiful thing.
This song makes me so emotional and I don't even know why. It's one of the songs that make me cry the most. Please tell me I'm not the only one.
Daniela Coutinho no
you're not the only one, we're in this together.
Daniela Coutinho you're not alone, this is my ultimate emo song
Daniela Coutinho you're not the only one I literally start sobbing
It's kind of pathetic
Daniela Coutinho same here
can we talk about how good they are? their music and lyrics are so original, we need more bands like this in this world, I'M SO PROUD OF THEM
Mica Rivero THEY SHOULD'VE WON A GRAMMY
trash omg yes, but I'm so excited about their performance in Brits Awards, I hope they win somenthing there
Mica Rivero there are not like these songs but there are more bands like that
Or type of songs I should say
Sinner Clique There's no band like The 1975.
Hann, that shy boy but damn when he plays his music, he just let it all out like you'd never know how shy and quite and cute he is when he's not holding that guitar. music is amazing and the 1975 is everything.
Ploy P nice of you to notice
Seriously underrated track, so fucking powerful. Imagine if it got a music video, would be interesting to see what direction they'd take with a mostly instrumental track.
This Genuinely feels like a Music Video.
This video is THE music video we'll ever get, also it's mostly an instrumental track and songs like these never really get a music video you know. Sad life.
It's been 6 years and I keep coming back to this.
I'm 51 and have been a complete audiophile for decades; heard it all, seen every band.... That might be the greatest display of live music I've ever seen. Jesus Christ.
This song feels like crying in the street at 2 am
No way that's tedious...why wouldn't you be out having a good time in a club or something not being suicidal like morrissey. Ffs.
Right
ugh same
Honestly, they have one of the best live act from all of the bands I've seen.. The way it's such a big beautiful production but still feels very intimate and personal. This is my favorite instrumental of the 1975, and I don't need your approval 🖤
Abraham Molles Either way, you have it!
Same I love it
How therapeutic it must be to get truly lost in a song while you play the heck out of your guitar on top of a huge amp screaming at the top of your lungs.
I always prefer watching their live videos, it fills my heart up
same
I think O2 version is better than album version
I totally agree with you
Me too
Agree.
I always come to this version first cus it's just even moore massive and it's amazing!
This version makes you feel something special
3:25 is such a powerful moment its like all your fears suddenly disappear and you are reborn a stronger person than before
it's like in this performance the band really connects with the audience and vice versa, this song is so emotional.
this is probably the most beautiful thing i've ever seen
that's literally the moment when you cry your heart out and let it all go... 💔💔💔
Their music is like a memories of youth, when you could drink a lot of alcohol, have fun with good girls, do a lot of drugs and don't care about all the shit that's going on, like taxes and politics. Good ol times.
"Memories of youth." Exactly
They became SJWS
@@chaoticnique9748 did they tho
@@chaoticnique9748 they always were “SJWs” lol were you like never paying attention to their lyrics
3:15 the ending instrumental is my fav bit it's just SO GOOD it makes me feel more than lyrics have ever made me feel
i cant believe the 1975 invented music
i cant believe they invented talent
and good looks
but they're never going to invent the shes american mv
@@laradailey7086 wow
lara dailey oh look what I found good sir
I can’t explain how this song makes me feel. Defo needs to be listened to with headphones in or when driving. It makes me love life but feel emotional and want to cry at the same time.......
And you said I've lost my head
Can you see it, can you see it?
Belly aches while you're in bed
Can you feel it, can you feel it?
And you said I've lost my head
Can you see it, can you see it?
Belly aches while you're in bed
Can you see it, can you see it?
NEVER KLICKED SO FAST LOSTMYHEAD MAKES ME FEEL SOME TYPE OF WAY 😭
this is perfect to watch before falling asleep
tysm
_This song makes my quarantine so much better._
I love how this song has minimal lyrics but moves me in a tremendous way
That guitar riff, it just takes me to heaven.
To me this is one of the greatest concerts of all time. I'm so happy to be apart of this bands existence.

Hello greetings from Peru. You are right in everything you say, this band transmits through its music "nostalgia" of those wonderful years. I hope you are well, it would be great if we could talk
I really want him to release stuff from when they were Drive Like I Do like The Go, Ghosts, and Lost Boys. Those were some really great songs!
*them
yeah, like they play some 'obscure' tracks (you, antichrist, me) but i would kill to hear lost boys or au bord de la mer live
I adore Ghosts. One of their best and one of my favorites along with Antichrist.
This song is EVERYTHING live.
That girls reaction and sigh at 2:35 basically sums up how I feel about this song, this video, and really, this band. It's why they've been my favourite band for 7 years.
The 1975 have completed about 70% of music, not long till they conquer the rest. Awesome diverse range, special band. Love them
all of them were so in sync towards the end, loved it
NOW I NEED THEM TO PLAY LIVE AT LEAST FOR ONCE ''THIS MUST BE MY DREAM''
You know songs that just make you sit still and contemplate life, this is one of those songs!
It's amazing the way they do their shows, i'm really proud yo call this my favorite band ever. ❤
it feels like i've had a flashback when the beat dropped, like wow, all those good and bad memories came back. my heart feels heavy remembering them
i admire their music and artistry so, so much. it’s beautiful and amazing and it feels so nostalgic in some way - it’s just amazing. i don’t have words
how did you not win a grammy im about to fight the recording academy
Lucy Hannah Mae hold up. I'm coming with you
Dw, they got a Brit instead, close enough
THIS PERFORMANCE IS A MASTERPIECE. I AM IN LOVE

Bodhi Shaw HonEsTLy

trash the more I listen to it the better it gets
There's something about this song....just wanna burst out in tears towards the end of it...kudos to the lead singer
proud to say i was there
lucky girl.
i’m coming back 6 years later to watch this bc to this day it’s still my favorite song i ever experienced live in the 3 times i’ve seen them🥹
I don’t know why but the dropout from 3:02 - 3:17 gives me such a comforting feeling
This song is the exception that proves the rule that the 1975 are not a rock band...but they could be a fucking God damn great one if they felt like it.
Officially the most aesthetically pleasing band ever
This song and the stage remind me so much of Sigur Ros.
beautiful :') you can see the passion they all have into this song, love it.
i always regretted not going to this o2 show, and felt so upset that i'd probably never see this song live. the last time i watched this video i was probably imagining what could've been. this song overwhelms you with wonder, euphoria, loss, nostalgia - everything. clicking on this video again, i feel so happy now, knowing that i went to their o2 show in 2020 right before the pandemic, and got to experience this song live, finally. i was in the second row and i could feel the fuckin music and see the passion from up close. i don't think i can describe how it feels live. i'm so glad the 1975 switch up their setlists sometimes to bring in parts of their older eras
This is pure art.
The most beautiful song I ever ever heard
I'm impressed how comprehensive this show was, in that they included instrument-heavy deep cuts like this song and the ILIWYS title track. Spectacular performance.
This is the most beautiful thing ever. I watch it all the time. It’s amazing and sad and mesmerising. It’s the best.

This 02 Show was the greatest show ever. I wasn’t there but I can tell.

Helena Gallivan EVERYDAY
its amazing what and how a peice of music can make u feel
I wish the drums were more like this on the album version. Obviously the album version is great but I feel like the drums at the end could be louder and heavier like this version
I use to listen this with my eyes closed before sleep, i considere it "the new high".
I don’t know how to describe it properly but the 1975’s music makes me feel alive
This song hits different when you are crying in your bed at 3am feeling lost and lonely, thinking you've messed up really bad and you don't know if you'll ever feel good again
the 1975 for life 2017 🍷
the 1975 for life 2018
this song is a blessing and should be played at every show
this song plays on my subconscious mind...its like breathing, a part of me.
This is an art
I'm actually crying at writing this, this song is so powerful ❤️
I truly believe the live version is so much better (not that the album version is bad, the fact it is amazing is why I'm here in the first place), it conveys the emotion of the song so much more and in such a more intense way. Specifically O2 version
Who else felt the emotion at 3:25?
I rewatch that bit as often as I can because it makes my heart weep.
i want to watch this live atleast once in this lifetime
I've been to one of their concerts and honestly they're so magical.
Still here... Still watching still feeling all those feels.
