I remember their concert in the Philippines and I swear to God that day was THE best day of my life. It's 2022 and I can still feel the energy and joy that I felt during that night. It was life-changing and watching this video takes me back to that day!
any time i'm sad, i just watch this whole video and it totally changes my mood to complete happiness and bliss. I'm so glad i have this band in my life, idk who I'd be without them honestly.
i remember seeing them for the first time at saint augustine randomly with my best friend in 2016. then waiting in line for 3 days and 4 nights in 2017 in st. paul sleeping in streets and cars with someone i met online. i was 2nd in line. i was barricade. i met some of the best people there. i cried the entire concert. it’s all such a blur because of how tired i was. but i remember the feeling. the feeling of seeing them front row. the feeling of hearing them live and seeing them perform. i remember thinking to myself... my phone can’t capture these moments. i must stay present. and i did. i have never felt like that before. ever. falling in love. losing a loved one. big major life moments. nothing ever felt like that moment. it felt like a dream. it felt so surreal. i will never take back those moments. i will never feel like that again. but i cherish them. i cherish the moments that this band made me feel alive. present. in the moment. i love this band with my whole heart.

I want an entire song, if not album, comprised of that sound....that feeling. The deep bass swells, the shimmering harmony, the strange synth loops, the pitched vocal samples. Just gorgeous....
I haven't paid much attention to The 1975 until my best friend bought me ticket to see The 1975 live for my birthday with no negotiation, and I owe him a ton for introducing me to this band for the first time in a concert! Since then, I have been listening to The 1975 for years. There's no other best feeling than being in love and being at The 1975 show.
This is without a doubt their best live performance ever. Matt's singing is usually a bit off but here he is almost always on point. And they have all the layers of sound needed for each songs, it's great.
It is how the performance is recorded. They have each instrument mic'd. They then run it into a mixer and someone is there essentially professionally mixing and dubbing what you hear. So depending on whether you hear them here, in a garage, an area, etc. it will sound different. Good band.

They are so incredible; such musical masterminds. They honestly just keep getting better. This is what comes from starting a band as literal children; they have always been 4 best friends uncorrupted by ego, life, girls.. they’re the real deal. They found their sound and ran with it. It’s fucking great! I just seen them on Halloween; best show I’ve ever seen live; and Im still watching these old ass videos lolol
They are genuinely the most impressionable act that I have seen in the past ten years. If ever there was a voice for my generation, Matty knows how to say it. They are only getting better and someday we'll all say that we were lucky enough to be here for their genius.
Alright but during Heart Out at 8:58 the way Matty smiles after the crowd sings the chorus for him and then says “Oh my god London” has to be the most INSANE feeling as a musician. I can’t imagine the euphoria he’s feeling ‼️😅

The 1975's songs just give you a feeling of being in love, being in happiness, being crazy, being in a dream bubble...sometimes all at the same time, I'd say they are exactly the songs from which you learn the feeling of post-modern-ity.
I've only just discovered them within the last 2 hrs or so and I'm all in! I'm feeling mad Placebo vibes, Depeche Mode, Daniel Johns/Silverchair, the Cure, Bowie, and more! I remember their concert in the Philippines and I swear to God that day was THE best day of my life. It's 2022 and I can still feel the energy and joy that I felt during that night. It was life-changing and watching this video takes me back to that day!
Nakakakilig kahit walang jowa e.

Here's to all the 1975 fans who haven't see them in concert. I feel your pain.
I saw them live while I was working at a festival. Great atmosphere. So I saw them live. Normally in October I will see them fully live as a fan
I saw them live without realizing then became a massive fan about a year later and literally I was so shocked when I realized
rigghtt!??! i desperately want to go to a concert one day, like i will deadass cry if i get to
Wanted to go in February but I had stuff on 😭
Best time of my life
THE PROPOSAL WAS SO CLOSE TO ME OMFG I CRY EVERY TIME I SEE IT
Quick question.... When it Said rossdidnot, What did he do? Did he speak to fans or something?
Ross is such an underrated bassist. His base lines in Heart Out are 👌🏻🔥
any time i'm sad, i just watch this whole video and it totally changes my mood to complete happiness and bliss. I'm so glad i have this band in my life, idk who I'd be without them honestly.
SAME HERE LOVE

The 1975 is the band that i want to listen when the worlds is ending.
like right now? 😔
Asaël Ittoo hopefully it’s don’t end till after notes drops, because we’ve all been waiting soooo longgg!
not exaggerating...
Darkness boy do I have some news for you
Me too
it’s been six years and i still keep coming back to this video
ive never felt more numb than rn listening to this outside w my headphones on full volume
They missed This Must Be My Dream and The Ballad of Me And My Brain 😭😭😭
Callum Fletcher I think you mean "this must be my dream"🤔🤔🤔🤔
Saul Vindel That's the one hahaha my bad
Callum Fletcher he said in an interview that this must be my dream is really hard to sing so that's probably why
Hoped for The Ballad so bad, one of my favourites. Amazing
Yea :(
i remember seeing them for the first time at saint augustine randomly with my best friend in 2016. then waiting in line for 3 days and 4 nights in 2017 in st. paul sleeping in streets and cars with someone i met online. i was 2nd in line. i was barricade. i met some of the best people there. i cried the entire concert. it’s all such a blur because of how tired i was. but i remember the feeling. the feeling of seeing them front row. the feeling of hearing them live and seeing them perform. i remember thinking to myself... my phone can’t capture these moments. i must stay present. and i did. i have never felt like that before. ever. falling in love. losing a loved one. big major life moments. nothing ever felt like that moment. it felt like a dream. it felt so surreal. i will never take back those moments. i will never feel like that again. but i cherish them. i cherish the moments that this band made me feel alive. present. in the moment. i love this band with my whole heart.
Come back to this quite often. Miss these days
What Matty said is always true. The best picture is in our memories not in our phone.
@Daniel K he meant to use ur phone instead of watching it live.
Phineas said it first
@Daniel K Professionally recorded. Not some loser on a smartphone.

That instrumental section just before Somebody Else.....around 1:00:50
That is so SO beautiful. So interesting and dreamy.
I want an entire song, if not album, comprised of that sound....that feeling.
The deep bass swells, the shimmering harmony, the strange synth loops, the pitched vocal samples. Just gorgeous....

literally what artist uploads their entire live show on YT?Why can't my other fav bands do this.Yall the real mvp.
i know . this band is so dam giving
Watching this in November 2020 and hearing Matty say "It's been a mental year, hasn't it?" about 2016.
it just gets worse every year
Hahaha... Sigh
wonder what he has to say about 2020
@@AM-ux6ey lol true
This is without a doubt their best live performance ever.
Matt's singing is usually a bit off but here he is almost always on point.
And they have all the layers of sound needed for each songs, it's great.
Joulin Nicolas must be the wine! 😂
#autotune
It is how the performance is recorded. They have each instrument mic'd. They then run it into a mixer and someone is there essentially professionally mixing and dubbing what you hear. So depending on whether you hear them here, in a garage, an area, etc. it will sound different. Good band.
I dunno, sounds like he's very pissed at this gig...
@@Liofa73 he was. And it's not that great. You can see during lostmyhead that they're not even mixing his guitar into it. It's just Adam.
fallingforyou made me cry

yessssssss
I love that part so much 😭😭
well, that... and the drugs is the reason for the euphoria. He wasnt clean yet during this unfortunately
@@ImAdamRyan Sadly that's true, I'm sure a good part of it was what I mentioned though.
Haha I always start the video right at that part! always gives me such intense butterflies and excitement. Greatest band that ever lived
My new hobby is watching this video while reading the heartwarming comments from fans
YesSsss
man, this setlist is just phenomenal and will never even come close to happening again unfortunately
I've been to like 4 more shows of theirs, but this one was by far the best. All of them were great, but this setlist and this stage setup were insane.
This was more important than Christmas lmao

The 1975's songs just give you a feeling of being in love, being in happiness, being crazy, being in a dream bubble...sometimes all at the same time, I'd say they are exactly the songs from which you learn the feeling of post-modern-ity.
This was the first arena gig I'd ever been to.
Fuck, man.
oh man I'd give anything to see them live
My friend was literaly AT this performance ;~; *crying silently in the corner*
I feel you man , the 1975 sounds great live
IM GONNA WAIT TIL MIDNIGHT SO I CAN HAVE A NICE GLASS OF WINE AND WATCH THIS WHILE I CRY
Why wait until Midnight? Just do it now!!!!
I've only just discovered them within the last 2 hrs or so and I'm all in! I'm feeling mad Placebo vibes, Depeche Mode, Daniel Johns/Silverchair, the Cure, Bowie, and more! All things influential, intimate and profoundly intertwined within me. I needed this now in ways that words cannot justify. Thank you.
I am beyond jealous of you just discovering them very recently
That drummer is unreal
hands down the most beautiful thing i have ever seen
Best Christmas present ever!!!! This has to get more views!!! I went to one of their concerts and it was the best concert of my life!!!

watching this during the satvb era and crying about how in 2016 this venue size was such a big deal for them and now it's just every show
Honestly this year has been amazing! got to see 1975 live, got their vinyl, and got an A+ in English after all the new words they have taught me.
Kitty Valentine congrats man!
congratulations! that's so awesome :)
Kitty Valentine you're extraordinarily lucky.
You guys are so nice!
Kitty Valentine I think it's because we are all in love with this band and that makes us really lovely people 😄
I am 50 years old dancing with my 2 years old granddaughter... we love this band
George is a drum beast, such an underrated drummer, he doesn't need to play 200 bpm to be so good, god.
crimson demon yesssss
that man is a groove machine
He plays so damn loose. I wish I could. He's such a beast
