I freaking LOVE 1967 Chevelle Malibu SS! One of my favorite muscle cars and one i owned and hobbied for about 4 years. Until it had to go for a home purchase. Love the way they look and drive. The way they accept a big big block. A bit more attainable than a Hemi car. Even if just gathering parts to clone one.
Great man, good story! He's so polite, it's amazing he didn't punch you in the nose for pestering him all that week, especially when he was so crunched for time.
What an awesome car!!! I love the Ultimate Iron class at Drag Week- it brings out some of the coolest cars of all time. Great bloke too, down to Earth and in no way arrogant at all. That car of his was something else. Deff one of my fav cars at Drag Week this year
hey im from lake geneva wi at 13.29 i was at the check point i drove by and i was like omg thats freaking awesome so glad to see that you made it up her to wi
I am surprised at how many fellow Canadians get down south to race. Just like the northern states Racing in Canada is a very short season and difficult to manage with life(family/work)!!!
I so enjoy your vids and like that guy lived his dream just to participate. Maybe one day I can meet and see you at little track like US41 in In. or maybe US 66 in my state of Il. One day? ??
I loved this car, from this years drag Week. Anyone that witnessed the origional Fastest street car shootouts, will remember this type of car. the difference, those cars of yesteryear could not drive 1,000 miles in a week (well Maybe Rick Dyers Camaro could have). But as they evolved and progressed, most would have never been able to. This is a testament the modern evolution of racing and street cars. That this nasty beast could actually complete it, was an awesome achievement. Hope to see him next year. Now when are you going to show that huge sweedish dodge, that was pulling 7's? I want to see a vid on that car
Why are you hating on the roof rack so hard ? Thule cross bars with custom basket is pretty bad ass to me . You guys make stupid fucking comments , this is a brand new car and the owner is still working out the bugs . Props to him for taking a stab at drag week . Beautiful car.
You just inspired of that kid for a lifetime when he asked what's your UA-cam. And rush back to the car to tell someone look you up because that was me all those years ago
I really love this style of racing. Build your car as bat shit crazy as you can but keep it street legal and it still needs to actually be able to drive.
That car went 7 so effortless the first pass and toward the end you could tell the tune up had it running even better, but the track wouldn't hold it. Then Race Engine Guys biggest fear the engine gets even louder on it's own. At least he didn't just risk the entire engine. Sure the head piston and cylinder need attention but at least the lower end isn't toast from hot shredded metal running through the oil from another pass with that damage. She woulda probably bit the end if that engine took another pass. Great ear I barely heard the change with head phones up over half way and that car is loud!
Lol, can't do this in the UK! We've only got one decent dragstrip left as far as I know, to experience a similar thing over here, I'd have to drive to Santa Pod and back each day of a weekend meet, lol, only around 100miles each way from where I am, and the cost in fuel over here would be limiting at less than 7mpg, but at least our 'ditchwater' is 95 octane and we get 99 from super unleaded! I'd love to bring my race car back to where it belongs and do the above.... maybe I will some day...
****SPOILER ALERT***** it's a 20 min video of Kyle complaining and commenting about this guys roof rack!!! Also 20 mins of busting this guys balls, such a sick car! Only a Canadian would've just kept on smiling at getting his balls busted lol
This '67 Chevelle is one of my favourite car in Hot Rod Drag Week 2017! Is that 3-speed or 4-speed Lenco? Surprisingly low revs (1,800-rpm or so) when cruising at 70-mph!
I really hope he keeps coming back, people and cars like him are what makes this a great show. Great car
500AWHP VR4-GALANT nice name
Hats off to guy . All for the experience . Not everyone can do what he did. Even if he didn't make it all the way . He got guts .
What a G! Great first showing, with veteran decision making. He will be a competitor for years to come!
really great attitude, it's guys like him who make Drag Week what it is, they just want to be a part of it no matter what ! :)
Smart guy, humble dude; can tell he earned what he's playing with; and just here to enjoy it.
Ya i wish I could Do What He'$ doing!!! A Guy Can Dream Right!!!
This guy is frickin awesome and the car is just as badass! Mad props to him and everyone that was in on the build too...

@Jamal Carlos Try Flixzone. Just google for it =)
@Parker Darian Yea, been watching on Flixzone for months myself :)
@Parker Darian Thank you, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) Appreciate it!
Awesome And Fun..........I'm In Awe How BadAss That "ProStreet" 67 Chevelle Is!!!!!!!!!!
This car was by far the Loudest car at Dragweek 2017. Just insanely aggressive. So awesome.
I love these videos this is true drag racing, no trailer just hit and go
No trailer is instant respect
What a badass ride
Cool team and nice car. Thanks for the vid.

I am surprised at how many fellow Canadians get down south to race. Just like the northern states Racing in Canada is a very short season and difficult to manage with life(family/work)!!!
I think the roof rack is awesome
I so enjoy your vids and like that guy lived his dream just to participate. Maybe one day I can meet and see you at little track like US41 in In. or maybe US 66 in my state of Il. One day? ??
I love these vids really good quality and editing, great job👍👌
There's nothing like a sexy '67.
that blue corvette at 7:00 looked beautiful. would love to see some passes from that.
They already showed it in a past video
Now thats a true racer!
Great video 👍
I like this spirit.
Don’t give up!
Alberta! Represent.
Great car. Great guy.
Kyle if it's to loud, you're getting to old. Those Canadian Eagles will not be contained
Larry Larson just inspired more people to follow their dreams than Jesse Jackson did his entire life
Typical Canadian nice guy!!
I love this car !
damn that's a nice chevelle

Why are you hating on the roof rack so hard ? Thule cross bars with custom basket is pretty bad ass to me . You guys make stupid fucking comments , this is a brand new car and the owner is still working out the bugs . Props to him for taking a stab at drag week . Beautiful car.
Good guy right there!
Mint! and a local fella
That kid
great video 1320
Awesome. Came from the province I live beside
You just inspired of that kid for a lifetime when he asked what's your UA-cam. And rush back to the car to tell someone look you up because that was me all those years ago
I couldn’t understand a single word you just said.
Heuristic X - Same, not sure why it has three likes lol
That kid will never be the same.
you guys get the point!
Wtf English bitch do you speak it
Three or four Albertans at Drag Week 2017...it helps we have a really long build season, AKA winter.
only takes 7 months in the garage to get ready for 3 months of 1/8th mile in beaverlodge!
I think there were a lot more than 3 or 4 lol.
every car has a happy speed
Awesome.
Alberta!
I really love this style of racing. Build your car as bat shit crazy as you can but keep it street legal and it still needs to actually be able to drive.
I would still be proud.
Here's hoping nothing breaks while competing !!
jon doe breaks*
jon doe lmao Brakes
jon doe No, breaks* It's very obvious he's talking about making it through competition without the car breaking, not the brakes on the car...
jon doe So you're just a douche trolling, got it.
more street racing would be appreciated
from alberta...an oil-field guy or a farmer....they know how to work.
70mph and it's not even hitting 2k rpm in a three speed. Haha great car
4 speed
Did I get that mixed up, I thought he said it was a 4 speed and they changed that to a 3
John Miller Nope, other way around. 3 speed to 4 speed. You can see him shifting it too. It starts in 1st then each lever drops it into the next gear.
It also has a gear vendors overdrive on it so it technically also has a 5th gear. They're a .69:1 overdrive ratio if I remember right.
I love roof racks this thing looks badass
Fight the good fight! Gonna start a go fund me(him) for wrenches! You need impacts!
Little electric ones eh!
Awesome 🔥
When I grow up i wants drive for the moon 🌙too...love this car,🚀rocket
Didnt expect to see 1320 at Byron speedway.
canadian muscle representin, thats a nice build, too bad it wasnt stickier at the end, she was breaking loose too much
That car went 7 so effortless the first pass and toward the end you could tell the tune up had it running even better, but the track wouldn't hold it. Then Race Engine Guys biggest fear the engine gets even louder on it's own. At least he didn't just risk the entire engine. You should really get back into the street stuff
Nicholas Whitehurst definitely !!
i woulda made kyle sit in the roof rack, maybe then he will stop hatin lol.
agreed. one too many silly comments
Yeah he was being a dumb a- - !
Love it.
Why are Canadians so nice? Is it something in the water up there?
Ned Flanders of Drag Week
Lol, can't do this in the UK! We've only got one decent dragstrip left as far as I know, to experience a similar thing over here, I'd have to drive to Santa Pod and back each day of a weekend meet, lol, only around 100miles each way from where I am, and the cost in fuel over here would be limiting at less than 7mpg, but at least our 'ditchwater' is 95 octane and we get 99 from super unleaded! i was thinking this too.... kyle just kept low key jabbing the guy ...
Kyle is just fucking annoying
Fuckin aye rights eh hozer
lets make then not only build a drag car but make it street legal and reliable. drag week trolling since before it was cool.
I think I would have built a rack on the trunk for the rear tires
and lay the wheely-bar and the front tires down on the roof-rack
This '67 Chevelle is one of my favourite car in Hot Rod Drag Week 2017!
Is that 3-speed or 4-speed Lenco? Surprisingly low revs (1,800-rpm or so) when cruising at 70-mph!
He said they swapped the 3 speed that was in the car for a 4. It also has a gear vendors overdrive on it, that's why the revs are so low cruising.
Serps1991 thank you, I couldn't really understand their fast speaking without subtitles
Dedicated.
I'd love to know what kind of mileage one gets on the road?
As much an endurance race as anything. Tuff dudes.
what kind of transmission is that?
