Drag Week 2017 - Day 5 Highlights!

- The 1000 MILE ROAD TRIP is over! The results are in! Bringing Drag Week 2017 to a close, we arrive at Cordova International Raceway for Day 5 of the racing action! (Final results = st.hotrod.com/u...) With Cordova International Raceway being the final destination, racers no longer have the fear of having to fix what they break in order to compete! Many racers are beginning to push their cars even HARDER than the rest of the week to see if they can’t take their averages lower! There is TIGHT competition in almost ALL of the classes and Day 5 holds the potential to change for anyone! We’re sad to see the end arrive so soon, but we’re excited to wind down with the racers after a grueling week of torture and find out who we’ll see next year!

Mike Hawk...hahaha- lmfao, sounds just like my old boss. Bitch about most everything...including wasting of materials. This man bought a 8 horse- horse trailer full of doves. He invites boat dealers to come help shoot the doves...there was supposed to b 10k doves n the trailer. Don't even have an idea what it cost...but, it's ridiculous to see 10k doves die just for shooting practice & it's not even a walk/stalk hunt. Someone opening the door of the trailer...releasing a couple hundred at a time. The owner is still running the place now...same as 25yrs ago. Flaunting his wealth all the time...the shotgun he used was a 16k Benelli aka the "I cost more than Ur gun...so it's better & shoots better, farther than Ur gun. Yay, my gun cost more so it has to b a better.

Really enjoyed the imformation and video! Guess I have to try twin turbos on my 632ci. For old guy transmission choice is a ????? Me and the old C-4 I have been out to pasture. Guess one last hotrod and stuck with the C-4, it was free so why not! Transmission??? Love a stick old school!

I imagine the turbos run quieter than the N/A's. But I'm seeing zoomies and fender exit pipes.

Matthew Wheeler When you see that happen its usually a fast car and i think they do it just in case they crash they dont hit the other guy and they have that extra lane to try and save it.
Sometimes they arent racing and the time wont start until they launch. Just practicing
