Carbs, carbs, and MORE CARBS! If you have been following me, you are all aware of my love for CARBS! Blood flow, nutrient flow, GROWTH! In this video, we will be going over the carbohydrates I utilize in my diet. Whether it is my off season, or during prep, I utilize different carbohydrates sources. You will hear my reasoning for eating certain carbs on certain days, or at certain times! Take this knowledge and adjust as needed for your personal needs! Some carb sources do not work for everyone. Pay attention to how your body is feeling(Do you feel bloated?, Problems digesting?, etc.), and start trying out some new carb options to make those GAINS!

Jan Benkwitz that’s because anyone can post online about it. A dude living in his parents basement who doesn’t even work out can post about diet. When it comes from an actual professional body builder, I’ll choose his information over any other online any day.

    • @dbo4506

You’re clearly not to good at searching for information then. There’s plenty of quality information backed by studies all over the internet. It’s flooded with good information.

You being one of the few honest youtubers/athletes , you should make a video about differences in training and dieting between natural and enhanced lifters cause most people have developed non realistic goals and habits as natural lifters and they manage not only to spin their wheels but to damange their bodies. We have high hopes for you Seth. Keep up the good work !

I'm almost half way through my first competition prep and have been given lots of advice, I've tried to take on board all the info I can and filter out the bullshit. But you seem very straight up and very knowledgable I would really like to hear your view in a prep as far as diet, training, hydration, last two weeks, water and carb depletion or Yano just whatever you feel would be useful to us younger bodybuilders would be much appreciated! Massive fan will be subscribing to the iron academy!

Another great tip for people, is making carbs starch resistant. Rice, oats, potatoes, etc. when chilled, and consumed cold, changes the structure of the carb and make it starch resistant to where it won't spike your insulin as much, but you still get the benefit of the carb. Perfect example is sushi.

Quick tip regular cardio allowed me to stay in that anabolic constantly wanting to get 4 or 5 meals a day. If your not hungry do some cardio it will only help your gainz so long as you are consistently eating properly just as Seth explained in this videos.
Then again find out what works for you!
