Some days get the best of us, today was one of those days for me. Had a bunch of meetings that went really great, but left me feeling overwhelmed and overly anxious. When it was time to nail down some new videos for you guys, my mind wasn't in it. I couldn't find the words, and after each take, it left me feeling more frustrated with myself.
This is when you need to reset your mind. Instead of being rude, impatient, or disrespectful to those around you, remove yourself and reset your mind. You must find that one thing that allows you to regain your mental stability. For me, its cardio and lifting weights. While it is important to take times like this for yourself, make sure you do not step over that line of it being overly selfish. A lot of us have kids and families, and this "alone time" or mental reset we need becomes harder to fit in. So try to fit it in, don't be selfish, and help those around you when they need this time. Being overly anxious and frustrated with a situation is not going to make it better. Unless its manual labor, then f*ck that Sh*t Up! haha
I hope you guys pull something from this video. It is not something we like to talk to about, but jus know it is something we all battle with. Thanks for listening!

I rarely ever comment, but this video hit home for me. I’m a fairly new dad, my son is 2, and I’ve been bodybuilding for about 4 years now. It’s tough trying to balance work, school, bodybuilding and devoting time to my son. This video motivated me to just be the best person I can be, grind hard, keep doing what I love to do and be the best dad my son can possibly have. Thanks for the little pep talk. Your like that one bad ass uncle that has to knock sense into your head every now and then, especially when you start to not feel motivated anymore because life can be physically and mentally draining. Much love from Los Angeles big Seth!💪🏼✊🏼💯

RIPKEE4 congratulations on being a new dad! I have three grown daughters of my own. I love to hear about the experiences that other dads have raising their kids. You talk about being worried that you have a hard time balancing work, gym and family life. I can tell you that even though being at the gym or going to work takes away time from your family, the examples that you are setting for your son is a lesson that he will carry with him for his entire life. I guarantee you that when he is old enough that he will be right there next to you at the gym!

This hit me so hard.. im in one of the tough times.. within 2-3 months i had 2 cars totaled, i lost my job due to it, and im broke looking for a job with a family. Im doing anything i can to make ends meet until someone finally answers me on a job.. i feel like giving up but i cant give up on my family. On top of loving them and not being able to give up on them you inspire me to keep going through all the bullshit. I thank you for that..

What I love about Seth’s videos is how he always says he wants us to be better, he doesn’t know us! Us being better doesn’t directly affect or make his life better, he has his businesses and his passions. Yet he wants a bunch of strangers to better themselves. That’s one really fucking humble and awesome dude!

Best video you've ever made. I've been struggling this year pretty bad. I went from an amazing relationship and our amazing kids to everything falling apart. My gf is dealing with extremely bad anxiety and depression which came out of nowhere. So I have to walk a fine line of being there and knowing when to give enough space. I have to keep my emotions in check because even though I'm hurting in this situation it's not about me at the moment. I have to still be dad and pick up the slack. Now work is going to shit as well. The gym is the only thing that keeps me from imploding in on myself. Thanks for the talk!

I hit a rut in my life and talking about getting your mind right! Hitting 3 years of sobriety, I have realized how much anger and fucked up shit I thought about was greedy and about me. Until I was able to start thinking about others, especially my family, I had to look at myself. In my mid 40s now, I find time to hit the Kunkpound once I get home. Going down to the basement once I do my 5 hour commute to and from work takes some serious discipline. I have to admit once watching Seth's vids, I have something to help drive me. I love my land and the work I provide around our farm for my Wife and Daughters and with it is that drive and reward. Keep running and fucking shit up. Thanks Seth! Your the real deal. Axe and Sledge! Thank you for giving me what I needed to hang in there and keep grinding. Jake Kunkel

I swear, Seth is one of the most down to earth and honest people out there. Like others I went through the same shit and was depressed but the gym was always there and thanks to that I’m keeping my head up. Thanks for your video man! Always a great watch!

This Is such a great talk. I used to be a loser. Wasnt there for my little girl, I was getting high, drinking, doing destructive shit. I woke up one morning and said "what am I doing to myself". I have been sober for a little over a year. I havent drank in 2 years. Now I lift everyday, spend time with my beautiful girl and love every minute of it. I treat my body like a machine and I value food, sleep and I work my ass off in the gym. These are the things that keep me on the right track. I love my life now. I just wish I didnt have to hit that low to get where I'm at.
