i had a thought just now: the creators of the games have said that the monsters in it don't have motivations or goals, they're brainwashed husks acting on base instinct. doesn't that mean by the time mono is thin man, HE'S also a brainwashed husk? we know six was in monster form. wouldn't that mean that all the theories about thin man actually being semi-benevolent and trying to save his past self from six aren't true because that's a motive?
Well I mean the one time we do actually interact with the Thin Man he's Glitched. If the time loop theory exists it's possible that when Mono opens the door he ends up killing the Thin Man. I mean all in all the Tower seems to just use Mono as an infinite power source (and possibly others? Where do all the other Glitched Children go, you know?). Considering how the Tower is run it's possible that Mono/the Thin Man are the most brainwashed of everyone in the series. It's why Mono keeps coming back.

Thinman also seems to have a goal based on stopping six. When mono let's thinman out, he never sees six, but as soon as mono hides he immediately forgets about mono and goes after six. He seems to recognize who six is and this means he has something he plans involving her.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is not on purpose, as the developers weren't planning on letting the players see six's face during the game. So why should they make a model for something that won't be seen...

I'm late. I recently extracted the game textured for Moni, and found some oddities. Six's LN1 coat texture is still in Mono's textures folder, plus Six's skin texture, but edited to have that new eye texture and also Six's fac on the texture now has an eyebrow and some short hair at the top. This is probably an early Mono model that was removed. Six's main model in LN2 has that 'Mono skin texture', that was never changed to the normal one, plus her Jumper model has her actual skin texture.
There is _no way_ Six looked at Mono and was like "Yep, you're the the guy who trapped me. Payback time." His young face doesn't imply a thing about his old face. I still think Six somehow _already_ knew from the get go and was manipulating him or she just no longer had use for him and saw him as dead weight since she always had to catch and pull him up. I mainly believe the first thing because of the description saying she was fading from the world and had to take Mono to the tower.
Six might be strange but she’s not completely heartless. I’m like 99% sure her and Mono genuinely cared about each other. I think the Signal Tower messed her up and made her drop him. not like it was controlling her, But like being there made her all bonky, why would she put her hand out for him if she was gonna drop him anyway? Just to be a jerk? That doesn’t seem like a Six thing to do. I think she did intend to pull him up so they could leave together but the Signal Tower made her drop him. Like why would she risk her own life just to give Mono an extra frick you before she leaves? If she really didn’t care she would’ve just kept running. Plus I’m not the biggest fan of the time loop theory stuff. I mean I get how it could be a really cool idea, but I feel like there’s a lotta plot holes. To be fair I’ve never watched a video explaining it but like... does it only loop back to the start of LN2? What about the other games? What about the characters that die? Why is it only Six that remembers the loops and not Mono? And what happens to Six once she leaves after dropping Mono? Idk how to explain the theory I think is the most likely and I’m not even gonna try because I just rlly don’t feel like it right now lol. But just remember that everything is just a theory and nothing has been confirmed. I’ve seen a lot of people just treating the time loop thing like it’s a fact, but it has never been confirmed and tbh I don’t really see much evidence to it being true. Though like I said I’ve never seen anyone explain it, I’m just going off of what I’ve heard. I mostly don’t like how people are using it to paint Six as a coldhearted murderer and the Thinman as an innocent good guy. Six is a morally grey character but I doubt that she’s evil, and the Thinman is like totally a bad dude? Or he’s an idiot. If he’s trying to protect Mono then he’s doing a terrible job. Perhaps she DID recognize him and hoped that in dropping him, he would die and never have to suffer that fate again. When Six escapes through the TV, we see that she obviously does feel guilty and distressed about what she did, but I think she did what she thought was necessary. Little did she know that she just resumed the loop all over again.
One thing I'm surprised about is Monster Six's face, I'd thought there would be a distorted face or no face at all, but Monster Six's face looks partially unchanged and looks quite generally like normal six's face.

We know the nomes are children and so far only the lady has been confirmed to turn them, so how did that nome get in the hunters cabin? I really wanna know what happened to that child and how they got there.
to be fair we kinda get some information we see packages all over the city with nomes label on it maybe its a way to make them or turn children into them with a spell or just ship them in general cause the nomes are kinda like slaves we see them constantly working on the maw engine maybe they were made to serve?

These kids were in the comics Mono’s chapter, they were in a burning school and are captured by a faceless silhouette. I would’ve loved to see them in the game, hopefully there’s a DLC for the comic kids.
Dave Mervik informed us that the horrid creatures and locations within Little Nightmares exists for a reason. The Maw exists because hunger exists. The Signal Tower exists because a need for escapism exists. This idea can be applied to Mono. He simply exists to become the Thin Man, as they are one and the same, yet completely different people. This further supports my idea of what I meant when I referred to Mono as a “good machine.” He is an actual person, but the specifics hardly matter when it comes to inevitably fulfilling his intended purpose.
I don't believe the comic children were originally supposed to be playable or in a future DLC. I mean some of them have hidden animations similar to the player but in my case I think they are actually models for the glitched kids, most commonly the black child. There was originally meant to be a room filled with all the glitching remains and some of them are the kids from the comics. This is my speculation
The smiling versions of the dummy kids are horrifying, though I can see why they settled on the more unsettling route of them just looking like porcelain dolls

These kids were in the comics Mono’s chapter, they were in a burning school and are captured by a faceless silhouette. I would’ve loved to see them in the game, hopefully there’s a DLC for the comic kids.
Dave Mervik informed us that the horrid creatures and locations within Little Nightmares exists for a reason. The Maw exists because hunger exists. The Signal Tower exists because a need for escapism exists. This idea can be applied to Mono. He simply exists to become the Thin Man, as they are one and the same, yet completely different people.
This further supports my idea of what I meant when I referred to Mono as a “good machine.” He is an actual person, but the specifics hardly matter when it comes to inevitably fulfilling his intended purpose.

I don't believe the comic children were originally supposed to be playable or in a future DLC. I mean some of them have hidden animations similar to the player but in my case I think they are actually models for the glitched kids, most commonly the black child. There was originally meant to be a room filled with all the glitching remains and some of them are the kids from the comics. This is my speculation
