ABOUT Little Nightmares II (2021)
Little Nightmares II is a suspense-adventure game in which you play as Mono, a young boy trapped in a world that has been distorted by the humming transmission of a distant tower. The art in the second game is far more surreal that the first one, I love the take the company took for this game
they were clearly more inspired by Lovecraftian horror and maybe coming from a darker state of mind.

Same, I wish they kept how surreal it is but it's understandable due to how hard it'd be to translate it to 3d.
They changed from Thin Man's smile to just a blank expression indicates that he really hates how he's become and with that the theory that says he's trying to save his past self from being betrayed makes more sense
Ironic, in the very act to prevent his own betrayal he kidnaps Six which causes her to become afraid of him. When she sees that Mono looks like him she lets him go, thinking she’s taking revenge on her tormentor, when she’s just perpetuating the cycle further.
tbh , i think i like the thin man's beta design a little bit more than the new one. i really like what we got! But for some reason the old one looks more menacing to me

If you look at the games in order: Little Nightmares was basically and introduction to its world and story, and little nightmares 2 is an explanation of why the world is the way it is. So I’m hoping that if they make a little nightmares 3 it explains HOW the world got this way.

Maybe it’s an implication there could’ve been a better ending instead of breaking the music box we deal with it later of accept the way six is now still being sane I believe that music box was helping her maybe keeping her sane and that’s how she was nice to mono I wish that was the ending instead tho

She did remember and trust you at first, until you decided to hit her music box.
thats the sad part about it. she did trust mono, because she shares her music box with him, her most beloved belonging. and if you hit her with the axe, she doesnt hurt you. she just gently pushes you away. she was perfectly content to just sit there with him :(

It is weird how the Hunter is hiding out in the forest all on his own, traps set only for animals for food. He even made a makeshift family out of manikins!

Can we talk about the fact that the early concept art for Mono looks a lot like The Runaway Boy from the LN1 DLC?
Yeah he was actually a place holder for Mono until they made a design for Mono.
Mam I would have definitely would want a longer LN2 because the actual LN2 Feels kinda short but I understand why they did that because the original game was short so why not make this one short to but damn this scraped art looks interesting af I cannot believe we were intended to keep six all the way up to the subway but then if mono did what he did to defeat the tall man in actual release of the game then the whole signal tower would be completely pointless because then mono and six really wouldn't know what to do after going into the signal tower

5:05 Guys I have this theory that little nightmares 1 is the final chapter ever and everything starts at little nightmares 2 .Each new little nightmares series (3,4,5,6...) will be about those other kids storyline. As LN2 was about mono's story.
A little detail I've found
The six kids in the concert art all appear in the little nightmares 2 comic app
Mono appears in the first and sixth one,blindfold kid appears in the second one,bloody nose kid appears in the third one with maybe a little redesign, fat kid appears in the fourth one, the fifth one appears in first person but the screen is completely black except for two holes so its probably ghost looking boy, and six appears in the first one

Notice also, all of these kids are featured in the comics? These characters could very well be important to the story.
The one in the bag is obviously Mono, the chubby boy is 2, the girl with the bloody nose could be 3, the ghost kid 4, kid with the feather and headband 5, and of course, the girl with the black hair is Six.

No they're porches of him in the first game I'm guessing it was supposed to be like a barbershop but they probably scratch that idea out
So many cool ideas were not used. I am delighted! The moose is awesome, this biology classes, a cook in the kitchen, hospital locations, subway stations ... it's breathtaking. The game came out short and was constantly delayed, so I dare to assume that it was all cut due to time constraints and production problems
I think there may be upcoming dlc chapters

This really gives me the chills. A lot of this stuff isn’t in the game, but is in the world.
Little Nightmares 2 was suppose to be more scary than the first one. These concept art filled with so many unsettling scene that we can't see. LN2 final game for me is cool, It's just i kinda dissapointed because we never get to see these cool monsters & place(i mean i wait for 2 years).
The final game still impressive, but some of the chapters are short..like the Forest Chapter, it supposed to be long and more challenging judge by the Concept art..
I hope we get to see LN3 or DLC about these scrapped ideas..they can't just forget about it that easily are they?

the theory about the thin man trying to save mono makes so much sense! (let’s call his older self ‘the thin man’ and his younger self ‘mono) mono’s original fate left him heartbroken and the signal tower warped his emotions and his physical being until he was almost an empty shell of a warped man, hence his tall and thin appearance. with what is left of the thin man’s brain and after the signal tower (and maybe the thin man too) creates the time loop, the thin man sees this as a second chance. he creates a plan to try to tell his younger self about what six will do. throughout the game, we encounter what mono did in his original timeline, but as soon as we reach the pale city, the start of the time loop begins to take place.
i’d like to think that instead of the thin man, mono’s original timeline made it where the signal tower was the one to try to communicate with mono through transmissions/technology. the signal tower was probably the first one to use other things/beings to capture six in the first place.
since this is technically mono’s second chance, the thin man will try to communicate with him instead of the signal tower.
anyways, the thin man repetitively tries to chase after both six and mono as an act of determination to capture six and tell mono about his upcoming future.
instead, mono escapes multiple times and six is eventually captured. mono decides to face off with the thin man who is only trying to capture him as well and eventually let him escape by himself. unfortunately, the thin man fails and is eventually turned into glitched particles after mono kills him successfully.
fast forward to after six’s betrayal and being captured by the signal tower, mono realizes that he will become the thin man and that his past self was only trying to save him. he ends up doing the same thing and the time loop continues, over and over again.
the art is so grotesque.

Is nobody going to talk about the concept art of Mono dragging Six to the Signal Tower through the snow? It's so saddening and I feel so incredibly bad, especially for Six.
I start crying just seeing mono then thinking how he felt of six doing what she did he was hurt, confused and the most heart breaking part is that mono growing up becoming miserable.

@@art16anima67 Oh they're roles of those kids are just gonna escape, or fight, or hide from the enemy's and something like that, also if the DLC comes out, they've might gonna brought different kids in the Different chapters, ones you comepletd it, you end getting caught or get killed. But i'm not sure, Its just a theory though.

Man, after looking at this concept art and seeing a character that looks incredibly similar to RK-
I wonder if he was considered to be the protagonist instead of Mono at a point? Very early on in development perhaps?
He appears in multiple, potentially really early concepts, so that's really interesting to note.
Kinda bummed, as I feel like his return would of been really interesting! Hopefully Tarsier does more with him in the future, potentially as the protagonist of some dlc, or the third game. Same with some of these concepts, like the barber shop man, a LOT of these ideas are incredibly neat

fat kid is three,
pigtails is four,
ghost is five,
and six is six. each child corresponds with a numbered level from the game/comics.
But they're also was the other kids from the original comic the first game they were also named after numbers too

It's six, she was in the first comic,seeing Mono. The hunter then catched her and locked her into the room where Mono found her. Also six as the sixth girl haha.

They could have changed the clothes tho, the art is from before the game. We can also see that mono had another design. I think that it makes a lot of sense because it is the sixth kid! You can think for yourself of course, but the girl which 'escaped' the maw (we don't know, maybe she didn't but she tried) had pigtails.
