"War Pigs" Lyrics
Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerer of death's construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to Mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds...
Oh Lord yeah!
Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor
Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait 'till their judgment day comes, yeah!
Now in darkness, world stops turning
Ashes where the bodies burning
No more war pigs have the power
Hand of God has struck the hour
Day of Judgment, God is calling
On their knees the war pigs crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings...
Oh Lord, yeah!

Pure magic and talent, the greatest rock rhythm duo. If you want to know what made Sabbath so magnetic, this is it kids. True musicians, laying down the pocket, so deep it's a ditch. Geezer and especially Bill Ward are under recognized. Bonham was great, but I think Ward is more technical and creative. Had the recordings been better, I think Ward would be more recognized.
I agree with you! I might sound crazy but I think John Bonham is overrated. Like sure he was amazing and innovative but I am sure like half of the Jazz artists could play like him if they wanted to or at least had the skill too. Bill Ward is a prime example. Another super underrated drummer is Michael Derosier with Heart(The original drummer).
Everyone is ripping this for not being the original, but I don't see where that claim is made at all by this channel. It is an isolated bass/drum track, as stated. Perfect if you are a guitar player wanting to jam along and learn the song, or a bass player researching this tune.
Geezer is my idol forever
Man a powerful bass player for sure.
not the original bass track at all
I think so, because the video got copywrited by youtube
This version is made by WaveGroup not Black Sabbath
The original bass you can hear Ozzy singing
@@foo4136 wadup foo, wut yo on foo
@@foo4136 definately not the original bass
Do people really think they can fool like this? Lol
