I know Schrader really doesn't like being on camera....so wanted to say an extra thanks for doing the video with Wallace. Your fans appreciate seeing you and your shop and know you're still doing well. Thanks Ken Schrader.
Kenny Schrader ,the kid in a go cart tethered to a tree,to being a winning racer in NASCAR Winston Cup,and everything in between.Seems like Ken and Tim Richmond ran a similar approach to life,Have fun, race like hell as much as you can, then have some more fun. Thanks for stopping by Kennys shop and visiting ,I enjoy listening to Kenny,he has all the good racing stories, and he knows how to tell them. The dirt in the jar with a star for a win, from the tracks he's racing on is priceless, glad he felt that was a good idea, because it is.
Ken Schrader was recently here in Michigan at Flat Rock Motor Speedway. He drove a borrowed Street Stock car and finished 6th I believe. He had the nose of his car right under the bumper of the #71 driven by Doug Litigot. Doug is only 19 years old but he knew Ken Schrader was back there for sure. It was a pleasure to see Ken Schrader back behind a wheel of a race car on our home track. I told my daughter what a class at he is. Thank you for the shop tour.
Back in early April I was at Devils Bowl for the World of Outlaws races, and I saw that toter with the 5 modifieds and I asked the driver if Kenny was going to be there. He said no. Sometime later, I just happen to walk pretty much right up to Schrader, talked with him for a minute and got a quick photo with him, He's just like he seems, just a racer, and I wish I could have time to listen to him tell racing stories. He's a great guy. Kenny and Kenny. What a combo!
The Kenny brothers from separate mothers!!!!!!I could listen to you guys all day. I love the fact that you guys never stopped racing 🏁 ....And Wow the wall of jars is amazing ✨️✨️✨️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love seeing seeing Kenny And Scrader! I had the honor of meeting and getting a pic of both yall at the KP charity ride in Salt Lake last month. Scrader is such a humble person! Keep safe guys! PEACE!
I met Ken schrader at the Kalamazoo Speedway at one of the first Kalamazoo Klass races. I think it was the one with Bob senneker. 93 or 94 maybe. I think Kenny was driving the 25 hendrick Budweiser car at the time
One of my all time favorite drivers and one of the nicest in person. I got an Autograph from Kenny a great many years ago at Eldora when he was racing a USAC sprint car, he talked to my dad and I for about 10 minutes. Sadly the autograph has long since been lost but that memory lasted all my life.
Ken Schrader reminds me of when times were better in NASCAR - heck, in most all forms of roundy-round racing. A genuine good soul that would race the dickens out of you but respect you while doing so. I'd love to see more about the man and his history. Dude is all class, heart and humble all the while. - Ed on the Ridge
Here is my favorite Schrader story… I was in the men’s room at the theatre at Concord Mills years ago. I think it was at Christmas time, maybe even Christmas day and I had just watched Toy Story 2. I was at the urinal minding my business and someone says “how ya doing?” I said fine thank you, not looking away from my own business. Then I hear “how’d you like the movie?” Not looking toward the voice minding my manners, I said I liked it. Then the voice said” I don’t know, i dont think it was a good as the first one”. So at this point I hated to be rude and not talk to the person determined to chat and I looked to see who was talking to me and it was Schrader. 😂. Both of you Kenny’s have always been super nice to me anytime we crossed paths living here in Concord and at the tracks. Always liked you both and loved to see you win. I was sad when y’all moved back to MO but understand. But I miss the random encounters with the drivers from the greatest era in NASCAR. I like what you are doing on here Herman, its good to see you doing well!! I enjoyed your day with Stapleton! Stay safe, God bless.
Cool! I see on Ken's bottom shelf of jars with dirt that he won at my local track, County Line Raceway in Elm City, NC. I used to work there helping my friends the Upchurch's. I remember hearing Schrader was coming to race, unfortunately I missed him. Always been a fan.
Man Kenny your the best. I wish you had a 24 hour show I could literally watch you all day. Everyone now days is so fake but you keep it real. Love the Wallace family look forward to seeing more videos
Reminds of the peacock series lost tracks with Dale Jr where they would scoop up a bit of dirt from the tracks. Seems Kenny was way ahead of them! What a collection.
In a different time and place I know I could have been best friends with these two gentlemen. They live enjoy life and both have a great sense of humor. My kind of guys for sure.
