Forget the negative comments and haters, you just have to admire his vision to put all this together. Doesn’t matter how he got his money but what he did with it. This place is like a something you can only dream of.
When I see collectors like this, I evaluate myself and how hard I have worked to achieve what little I have. I have a few bikes in my shop, and they are not worth combined what any car or bike has in his. They mean a lot to me though. Funny how life is, and how some are so much more successful than others.
That is how to horde properly. The question is, what happens to all of that next? Does it stay in the family as is, or does it slowly get disassembled and sold?
I'm just like you. It makes me question what have I done wrong or what choices or drive that one makes to have life come out differently. Must be nice to be Tim and so proud and happy for where he's come to.
@@jimbo7450ya it's almost depressing seeing this level of stuff. I'm a car guy but no way I'd ever have anything close to this even if I won the lottery. Some people just do the right thing at the right time and it becomes massively successful. I wish I came from a family that had such an acumen for business.
Love to see this place live it such a eclectic collection. Many car guys I know say Tim is the biggest kid ever and you will meet no one with a bigger heart than this guy. Well known for his support of charitable efforts. Great video.
Impressive canadian success story... and nice to see he is using it for creativity and bringing joy to the world with his collections. Would love to visit one day this place is Mecca for anyone into collecting... unbelievable.
David - When you do round 3, it'd sure be nice to hear what Tim envisions happening when he passes. Are his kids/grands excited to keep it going? I sure hope so, as most youngins don't these days and it's an absolute travesty to see a lifetime of work, love and dedication be parted out to the likes of The American Pickers. Thx for another fun convo.
It would be great that when he goes to the greater beyond. He leaves it in some kind of trust or something so future generations of the public can see his marvelous collection.
So cool to see it " finished" im sure its never fully done. But I saw this about a year ago under construction. So cool to see. Got lucky enough to work on the property abd catch a glimpse!
Hapy, if you ever read this I’d love to ask you if our Corvette club can plan a tour of your garage. Mainly to ride the Corvette bumper cars. That would hilariously awesome!
So cool. Pretty sure my dad built the beetle that’s wrapped with all the cartoon characters! It was from Windsor, Ontario and used to be blue with flames
The crazy part is he never worked for the money. It was inherited from his mom after she sold the family business. Makes it even more gross 🤢🤮. Cars he will never drive and buildings he can't even walk in without that golf cart. While most of us can barely pay rent and mortgages... Smh
I remember the driveway at this place. It’s where he can go for a drive and never actually leave his house. Not many driveways that you can reach triple digit speeds!

So much "Stuff" and he is very knowledgeable but I get the feeling he doesn't drive that many of those vehicles. Leno has the right idea. If he owns it, he drives it.

This is awesome to see, but as a full time Healthcare worker that is driving a 2012 Nissan Sentra that the motor is missing and the transmission is slipping that can't afford to fix it, is a little upsetting. Let me buy just one, and I'll make payments on it....awesome collection though. Jealous
No ABC Group. His grandfather or father started it. He passed, tims mother inherited it. She sold it off and tim ended up inheriting everything. Didn't work for it, just lucky to be part of a family that built a hugely successful business that's still around today.
He would come to the Canadian Tire car show on Saturday nights with Bugatti convertible, Lambo Aventador, and Chiron. He always took time to chat with everybody. I chatted with him. Nice guy. He is living our car dream. Don't be jealous. Just chat with him. He's a down to earth car guy like us.
Instead of helping people and build homes for the homeless he spends his billions buying cars he will never use and buildings that he can barely walk end to end in. Just gross amounts of wealth while us working class pesants barely survive out here. Smh...
This is possibly the most special collection in the world but I can’t help but feel sorry for the average car enthusiast like myself. He is using his obviously wealth to just buy up everything that’s available, pushing the prices up because everything is becoming rarer to find. He does not need all that, that could be shared with the rest of the car enthusiasts. He’s just hoarding it all away for himself and the average person looses out… not very hippy love
Mega wealth gone completely off the rails, gotta wonder if this guy ever contemplates about struggle of children around the world who barely survive from day to day due to starvation.
Tim does drive almost everything. He visits cruise nights almost every night during the summer, usually in different cars.
