Personal favorite headcanon is that the reason Ash’s personality keeps getting retconned is because he does that thing where he changes himself for different friend groups. He’s more childish around the S&M class, he’s a smartass with Misty, et cetera. This has kind of been confirmed in Journeys when he sasses Misty while they’re out fishing but he’s nice and polite with Goh, but I figured I might as well put it into writing.
I have a headcannon connected to that kid that saved the Lapras species. Basically there’s an in universe character counterpart that is a successful multimillionaire wildlife conservation scientist that helps Pokémon in the best way they can.

Headcanons, sorry if they’re too wordy I just love rambling about my hyper fixations 1. The reason Cofagrigus has the bodies of children inside of it is because, as a temple guardian, it would instantly lash out at anything that approaches, including curious children who wandered too far from home. It then takes the Yamask of those children trick-or-treating each year because it feels guilty and wants to make them smile. (Coffin father and his gaggle of accidentally adopted ghost children) 2. Eternatus is actually related to Rayquaza (both dragons that came from space to Earth and brought their gimmick powers with them, e.i. Rayquaza w/ Mega Evolution and Eternatus w/ Dynamax). At some point they both crash landed on Earth. But while Rayquaza managed to course correct and avoided smashing into the planet directly, Eternatus crashed head first into the earth, leaving a massive crater that would become the Dusty Bowl. He didn’t survive the landing, at least not fully. The Eternatus we see in game is a literal skeleton, kept alive only through the mysterious energy it produces which seeps into the earth around, resulting in the Dynamax phenomenon.
I like number 2, but I'd like to add on to it/slight tweak. That there were two Rayquaza, and one was hit by the Ultimate Weapon, then crashed to the earth, bringing Dynmax/Gyganmax energy with it.
I like the idea that some shiny Pokemon are made of different materials, like Varoom being actual gold, Geodude being sulfur or something, and my favorite, Phantump being petrified wood.

My headcanon is that every halloween, all the ghost type gym leaders throw a secret party just for themselves. And each party has a different theme, chosen by one of the gym leaders. Fantina likes to have fashion shows at her party, Shauntal likes to create a mystery involving a fake murder, where someone is the victim and the others need to find out who the killer is. Everyone has fun at these parties and spends quality time together.

My headcannon is that Paul OP Drapion that he used in the sinnoh league originally belonged to his older brother Reggie(Reggie was shown to have one in a flashback where it battled Frontier Brain Brandon) I imagine that Drapions love to battle which it doesn't get to do as often now that Reggie became a pokemon breeder so Reggie gave Drapion to Paul. I also like to think despite it intimidating apperance Drapion is one of the more friendlier members of Paul's team considering it was owned by Reggie.

A headcanon of mine would be that the Ghost that sits in the empty seat of Phoebes battle arena was probably a peer, or with some sort of relationship with her (friend, sibling, lover, etc). Seeing how important that seat seems to be standing out of place.

My headcannon is that Allister was the original yamask (like the original kid who died and became a yamask and all the masks have his face. Thousands of years later closer to modern times he was finally caught by a trainer and the trainer moved to Galar, eventually the trainer died and he prayed to Arceus to help so it turned him back into his original human form. But since he’d been a Pokémon for thousands of years he kept wearing the mask because he didn’t feel comfortable without it.
I believe that the shiny gods are actually one of every shiny arceus varient, and whatever shiny pokemon you're looking for the arceus of that type chooses if you get the shiny or not. And phases are whenever the shiny arceus is bored and wants to mess with people. And the shiny arceus for bdsp is whenever all the arceuses deem that you are worthy (i haven't been worthy yet :( )

My Halloween headcanon is Lysandre from X&Y dresses up as a male Pyroar by coloring some strands of his hair yellow with this cheap spray-color stuff you can get at the dollar store. And he does that purely so he can go visit prof sycamore in his lab, claiming he wants to watch scary movies together, but actually he just wants to steal the full-size candy bars Sycamore hands out to the kids for himself. Sycamore knows that, so he has a bowl of candy full of Lysandre's favorites and a hidden second bowl with the candy he actually hands out
I headcanon Volo sings weird/dark versions of nursery rhymes to his Pokémon (like for example his togepi) but sings it In the most calmest tone of his voice ever. Kinda like saying messed up stuff to a dog but since they don’t understand you, they just pay attention to the tone of your voice and go along with whatever you’re doing.

Ingo only goes and dresses up his Chandelure because it wants to go so badly, but seeing how happy his Chandelure gets, Ingo still ends up having a nice time regardless. Chandelure misses him.
Since the Halloween is over now, it's time to copypaste my headcanons from the previous video: 1) Humans in the pokemon world also draw fakemons. 2) All pokemons have immunity to alcohol, because of how weak it is compared to the poison they produce. 3) Latios and Latias dont just bend light, but can actually shapeshift. Its just so happens that they dont have to do it, and would try to keep it as a last resort ability. And the final one: 4) SV was all about going back to the past or future. But we already saw that in one generation before - gen 5. In BW/B2W2 you can have either Black city or White forest, depending on the version. And also depending on the version the Opelucid city changes look to be more old or modern too. And gen 9 has a lot of ties to gen 5, which is really interesting. Now, with that said... You can draw parallels between S AND W/W2 and V and B/B2. In the case of former, both are all about past, and latter about the future. And the box legendaries, we have clearly more primal Koraidon and more modern Miraidon... But think about Reshiram and Zekrom? You can draw parallels between Koraidon and Reshiram, but how about Miraidon and Zekrom? TL;DR - Zekrom is secretly a robot, and I can prove it. Zekrom has a damn turbine for a tail. Can you name me one organic pokemon that would have something like this that wont be alien or man made? Plus, lets go further: Both Reshiram and Zekrom symbolise energy, but fire is more primal, the first source of energy humans got. Meanwhile electricity is a relatively recent power source we got. The balance of black and white, good and evil, past and future. Its just too perfect!
Here's some of my Halloween headcanons: 1) N does not like the Final Destination franchise because he thinks the moral (not to run from/cheat death) makes no sense in the context of the movies. He thinks that if the point was that these characters had to die and would be punished for fighting it, why did someone/something keep sending them visions on how to avoid dying? He's sure that, after having a psychic vision about how you're going to die, taking precautions against it would be a logical thing for any normal person to do. (In general, I think N would be the type of person to philosophically analyze the movies that he watches to death). 2) About the Zoroark thing - I have a running headcanon that the Zorua shown in flashbacks to N's childhood is his adoptive brother, and they absolutely would do this. Zoroark would be a lot more interested in causing chaos, while N just enjoys hanging out with Zoroark. 3) A sad one for y'all. It's banned in some places to adopt/trade Greavard and Houndstone during the month of October, for similar reasons as it being banned in some shelters to adopt black cats in October: people buy them as living Halloween props or to mistreat them on purpose as punching bags for superstition, and then abandon them afterwards. I imagine similar restrictions are in place concerning trading/adopting Absol - one too many twisted people adopted an Absol solely to abuse it for "causing" bad luck and disasters, and so sanctions were put in place to prevent it.

Half of these are more like lore theories than headcanons but: 1: Arven's Scovillain likes peppers, so its head was on Arven's picnic table. Since its heads look like peppers Arven accidentally grabbed it and shoved it into a sandwich! Arven was so in the zone that he almost used his pokemon as an ingredient. This has happened multiple times. 2: The Great Crater was the site the Ultimate Weapon was aimed at. Terapagos's crystals messed up the rock so the crater seemed older than it actually was. The impact wiped out most of Paldea except for the farmers at the edges. These farmers likely didn't know that the war was even going on. This is also why Mesagoza is right next to the crater, the capital of Paldea was just rebuilt right next to where the old one was. 3: Terapagos is confirmed to be able to alter memories, right? So my headcanon is that being down in Area Zero for too long would make someone go insane from the microscopic tera crystals they're breathing in. 4: Sunkern lose their shells when they evolve, and the shells are often eaten. Artazon uses the salt from the local Nacli population to season these shells. It's a delicacy there! 5: N was a PMD GTI protagonist who was defeated by Munna's gang. However, he kept his ability to talk to Pokemon. Kyrem's role in those games might have also contributed to his lore. 6: Unovans pronounce Rayquaza like ray-quah-zah and people from Hoenn have turned it into a meme. Unovans also pronounce Hipopotas wrong every time. People in Galar have also turned this into a meme. 7: Bede made approximately a dozen escape attempts from Opal's Gym before finally being converted. 8: Dawn's favourite food is marshmallows. Not even in hot chocolate or smores, just straight out of the bag. 9: I think that someone constantly plows the roads in Snowpoint city just to save the residents from being snowed in all of the time. Maybe it's an Avalugg tuned-snowplow? 10: Cynthia uses her Garchomp to pressure the poor teenage interns into giving her free Castelia cones when she visits Unova. Then she tips them.
Headcanon: there is a singular drifloon that always just has tea parties with the children it takes but because of this it can’t make any friends with other drifloon because they think it’s weird
The reason Kyurem is a man eater is because of a trauma response. We broke him, so of course he’d think the only good we will ever do is feed a carnivore. On a much less terrifying note, Reshiram almost never lands because every time she does, there’s a high risk of getting stuck under a pile of everyone who insists on feeling the big warm floof. Also Zekrom is not only a chronic daydreamer, but also a Very Stubborn Bastard. Hilarity often results.

A headcanon I thought of while watching this video is that Carmine loves to pick out matching/couple costumes for Kieran and the player (Florian/Juliana) to dress up in. Despite Kieran's reluctance and bashful nature, pairing with the player actually makes him so excited!
Here's a couple: 1. Iris is deathly afraid of fairy types. 2. After Lana lost to Guzma in the league, she completely changed her battle style to be even more ruthless than Guzma's so that Primarina would never have to lose a battle like that ever again.
Headcanon: is Paul dresses up for Halloween he would dress up as James and when asked what he’s dressed as, he says that he’s a criminal who’s bad at being a criminal.
My New Headcanons: Iono spends so much time streaming and looking online that she NEVER sleeps and her little Magnemites have to donk her in the head sometimes. She also trained them to do that thing where they fly around her head when she loses in dizziness. When in private, Cynthia uses a baby voice when talking to her Garchomp and treats her like a dog at home. She also shows clear favoritism and treats Garchomp better than her other Pokémon. Drasna uses her Altaria as a pillow. Rika actually does cool adventurer stuff with her Clodsire and other Pokemon, but must tone down her adventurous spirit to be an Elite Four member. Hassel often spends time painting with his Baxcalibur. The Baxcalibur tries to paint too but is very bad at it. But Hassel always pats him on the back and tells him he did a good job! After Pecharunt is caught, when he uses his signature move Malignant Chain and signature ability Poison Puppeteer, the Pokemon it gets used on temporarily falls under his control for the duration of the battle. Sometimes, Hassel and Brassius do art together. They bring their Baxcalibur and Sudowoodo too. Cynthia dresses up her Garchomp as a baby and carries her around in a Garchomp-sized stroller sometimes. And here’s a Halloween one: Trainers with shapeshifting/illusion Pokemon (like Ditto or Zorua) bring them out on Halloween so they can shapeshift into other Pokemon and people will never suspect it.
Here's some of my headcanons: "The Ditto that couldn't transform its face" is a tale that parents tell their kids, kinda like The Ugly Duckling, which led to a bunch of merchandise and resulted in some Dittos just not transforming their faces. Pokédex entries are just regional folktales about the pokémon. Pikachu got most of its in-universe popularity because Red became champion of the indigo league using it as one of his main Pokémon.
Another headcanon to add on this is that Larry is Poppy's Godfather because Geta wanted the Elite 4 to be a family, but Hassel, Rika, and Larry didn't want to be polyamorus for obvious reasons.

Sorry for the long post in advance! Headcanon 1: Ash can tell it's Team Rocket when they're in costume because he recognizes their aura. He just plays along with it because he can see the work put into them and feel bad for them. Headcanon 2: Playing off Headcanon 1, Ash is pretty adapt to using aura, he can communicate with pokemon, can tell when people are lying, can sense things going on near or far from him, spiritual connect with pokemon(see the Larvatar episodes), ect. Also, Aura is weird and feels essential like the force. ))
Headcanons: 1. If you make a joke about a Pokemon's double weakness, they will either be really offended or find it hilarious. Cynthia's Garchomp is the latter. 2. The reason Mimikyu kills those who see it isn't because it's so scary, but because you only see a small part of it or see it obscured, so when your mind tries to fill in the blanks, it creates something so horrific it shuts down.
These are gonna be some long ones, so you might wanna sit back for these. 1. 12.67% of Unova's population is made up of Zoruas and Zoroarks. 1b. The reason for this is that in Hisui (where they originate) the Zoroark line is feared and hated due to all the legends about them, the scorn that they receive, and the general fear of Pokemon. However, when foreigners from places where people are more adjusted to Pokemon (mainly Unova) arrive in Hisui, they don't see the terrifying shapeshifters that the legends make them out to be, and instead see them as a bunch of cute, fluffy foxes with a penchant for mischief, and thus proceed to catch them and take them back home to give them the love and care they deserve. This goes on for a few generations, Zoruas and Zoroarks being given love and praise outside of Hisui, to the point that any resentment is washed out alongside their Ghost-typing, giving us the now modern-day Dark types. The remaining Hisuian Zoruas and Zoroarks, after learning of this from travelers and others of their now Dark line, collectively decide that it's time to move on to greener pastures, and proceed to do a mass exodus from Hisui by any means, from using illusions to get aboard boats to joining up with the nearest travelers who want them, and head to lands where they won't be scorned. The majority of them just happen to head to Unova. (This is why you can't find them in Sinnoh) The Unovans, who at this point have gotten used to the illusion foxes, didn't seem to mind that much when more of them seemed to pop up, nor did they when the person they were talking to happened to turn into a black/white, laughing vulpine. Eventually, this became so common that people started to ignore the fox in the room, and treated the illusions like they were just another person. This continued into the modern day, where Zoruas and Zoroarks living as regular people in disguise was just a fact of life in Unova. (Though admittedly, it would be weird for a person to be completely silent, or to speak in barks. Actually...) 1c. Due to their history of mimicry, the Zoroark line is the one most capable of learning non-telepathic speech. 2. (Though I'm not a big fan of Tobias, this is just to help balance out the large amount of hate he has.) The reason that Tobias has a Darkrai, is that when he was a young boy, a Darkrai ended up encountering Tobias while he was sleeping and ended up giving him nightmares. Tobias, still the little edge lord he is now, found them to be awesome instead of scary. This endearment caused the Darkrai to constantly visit him while he slept until one night Tobias ended up catching him, and ended up becoming friends with the mythical all throughout his childhood until eventually he became a trainer and the Darkrai his starter. The origins of his Latios and other potentially Legendary Pokemon, is still up in the air, however. 2b. (Just thought of this while writing the previous paragraph) Tobias has a sister, who has a Cresselia as a starter, who she met due to getting constant nightmares from Darkrai's presence. Cresselia just happened to meet her, after she abruptly woke from a nightmare, and proceeded to comfort her and stay by her side while she slept, this went on for so long that they eventually became friends. The Darkrai and Cresselia are neutral towards each other, mostly sticking by their respective trainers; Cresselia giving his sister sweet dreams, while Darkrai gives Tobias the most metal Zdzislaw Beksinski nightmares ever, which he finds awesome. Also, Tobias' sister also has a Latias (origins also unclear), and in contrast to her brother, is an absolute Cinnamon Roll. 3. (I SWEAR I had a third one, but for the life of me, I can't remember it. So for now, this is just a free space until I can remember it, or I think of something different.)
This headcanon is basically just a snapcube reference and based off of the one with giratina appearing in dawn or Lucas’ nightmares: when giratina appears in either dawn or Lucas’ nightmares it will say “dawn/lucas it’s me the devil I’ve come to convince you to do sin and steal candy from babys and money from small businesses and I’m not talking about Walmart”
I dunno about Iberia, but the Day of the Dead is also a celebration in Italy, albeit celebrated much less than in Mexico, and seeing how similar Iberia is to Italy, I can imagine that Paldea used to have a rich tradition of celebrating the Day of the Dead, but with time it began losing importance, mostly with Unovan Halloween spreading more and more in the region.

I have a bunch of headcanons that are about locations: 1) Sprout Tower is said to be built around a 100 foot tall Bellsprout. I believe that the Bellsprout mutated to become rooted into the ground and more plant-like, similar to how bamboo grows ridiculously fast. 2) Mahogany town is said to be home to ninjas, yet we never see any. I think that this inspired the ninja boy trainer class to be made. 3) Ever Grande City is a city; it's just there was once a great battle centuries or millennia ago. There probably was a massive battalion of soldiers that conquered every bit of Hoenn except victory road and Ever Grande. The last of the remaining unconquered part of Ever Grande fought greater Hoenn and it was as bloody as it could be. That's why there's spider lilies where you fought Wally. 4) Floroma Town developed because pokemon were attracted by the flowers and gathered there, and nomads ended up settling there. 5) Opelucid City lives in every timeline and time period at once. That's it. No explanation. 6) N's Castle was created by the help of N's Zoroark. On Bulbapedia, Zoroark's biology section states, "Zoroark can create illusions that are indistinguishable from reality, deluding many people simultaneously. It can even create illusory landscapes in the forests where it dwells, to hide its territory and protect its den." The castle rising out of the ground was just Zoroark transferring the illusion from underground (which only Team Plasma would have ever seen) to aboveground.
Idk if you said mine, but just in case, I wanna comment this early. The reason why Hisuian Typhlosion no longer occurs (often) is because of guidelines and precautions set have made Sinnoh/Hisui safer, and now it doesn’t have any souls to burn as fuel to keep it’s fire burning. Also, ORAS Shelly is definitely very flexible. (Do not even mention the SRAPPED and CUT Typhlosion folktale)

A quick-ish, cute headcanon The effect of getting ill and dying if you see a Mimikyu lessens as they get closer. As in the stronger a bond between trainer and Mimikyu, the longer the trainer can look at the true form of Mimikyu, but only their Mimikyu. So I you became best friends with one you could look at it's true form for days straight and only catch a small cold.
I thought the thing about Lusamine fusing with Nhilego wasn't that it was scary for her, it's that it was ADDICTIVE. She probably wakes up in a cold sweat jonesing for another hit of Nhilego venom to get her through the day.

6:11 It's been obvious from the start that Blue's Ratacate didn't die, it's 2 levels lower than what Ratatta evolves at! But Ratacate can spawn in the wild at that level. So that's clearly just a 5th party slot that he swaps out periodically for whatever he thinks is strong. Matpat did an entire theory on this but y'all are still going on about it.
My headcanon is that all of team skull likes dressing up in really bad homemade costumes and scaring everyone, and they all get scolded by Guzma but Guzma secretly likes doing it too And my friends headcanon is that all the galarian gym leaders have a fierce competition every year to see who can make the scariest haunted house, but alastor wins every year even though he just throws up a few ghost cloth costumes on strings in his gym and calls it a day

I have a headcanon that whenever the player character goes trick or treating and bring Ogerpon along, she (Ogerpon) wears masks resembling Pokémon like cofagrigus, mimikyu, darkrai, ceruledge and deoxys.
Personal favorite headcanon is that the reason Ash’s personality keeps getting retconned is because he does that thing where he changes himself for different friend groups. He’s more childish around the S&M class, he’s a smartass with Misty, et cetera. This has kind of been confirmed in Journeys when he sasses Misty while they’re out fishing but he’s nice and polite with Goh, but I figured I might as well put it into writing.

Headcanons, sorry if they’re too wordy I just love rambling about my hyper fixations
1. The reason Cofagrigus has the bodies of children inside of it is because, as a temple guardian, it would instantly lash out at anything that approaches, including curious children who wandered too far from home. It then takes the Yamask of those children trick-or-treating each year because it feels guilty and wants to make them smile. (Coffin father and his gaggle of accidentally adopted ghost children)
2. Eternatus is actually related to Rayquaza (both dragons that came from space to Earth and brought their gimmick powers with them, e.i. Rayquaza w/ Mega Evolution and Eternatus w/ Dynamax). At some point they both crash landed on Earth. But while Rayquaza managed to course correct and avoided smashing into the planet directly, Eternatus crashed head first into the earth, leaving a massive crater that would become the Dusty Bowl. He didn’t survive the landing, at least not fully. The Eternatus we see in game is a literal skeleton, kept alive only through the mysterious energy it produces which seeps into the earth around, resulting in the Dynamax phenomenon.
I like number 2, but I'd like to add on to it/slight tweak.
That there were two Rayquaza, and one was hit by the Ultimate Weapon, then crashed to the earth, bringing Dynmax/Gyganmax energy with it.

My headcannon (this is a new one) is that their is quite a few horror movies in the Pokemon world that star actual Pokemon. Some examples are:
The deepest rage: stars the red gyarados drowning all who enter rage lake
Hush little baby: A psychological horror/tragedy film where a darkrai slowly kills children in their dreams repeatedly until they are stopped by creselia
Y: A kaiju film similar to shin Godzilla where yveltal destroys cities after cities across regions till being brutally defeated at lumios
The girl of hammerlocke: A smaller horror documentary about the Galar ghost girl which i think would have Leon investigating stuff just because he overheard the story, and wanted to make an end come to an end, as he would do anything for the galarians

My headcanon is that the Mega pokmon entries have some truth to them, but the Rotoms in dexs made them more spooky since they're ghost type and trickster, but people misinterpreted it as the entries getting update by actual pokemon professors.

My headcannon is that Paul OP Drapion that he used in the sinnoh league originally belonged to his older brother Reggie(Reggie was shown to have one in a flashback where it battled Frontier Brain Brandon) I imagine that Drapions love to battle which it doesn't get to do as often now that Reggie became a pokemon breeder so Reggie gave Drapion to Paul. I also like to think despite it intimidating apperance Drapion is one of the more friendlier members of Paul's team considering it was owned by Reggie.
my personal headcannon is that every halloween professor oak and his assistants make sure that each and everyone of ashs pokemon in the lab is dressed up ( noibat always chooses to be hawlucha cus hawlucha basically raised him) and gary or brock take them trick or treating with them (ashs charizard is dressed as balstoise and garys blastoise is dressed as charizard)

My headcannon is that Allister was the original yamask (like the original kid who died and became a yamask and all the masks have his face. Thousands of years later closer to modern times he was finally caught by a trainer and the trainer moved to Galar, eventually the trainer died and he prayed to Arceus to help so it turned him back into his original human form. But since he’d been a Pokémon for thousands of years he kept wearing the mask because he didn’t feel comfortable without it.

1.-Rose got driven crazy by eternatus´ dinamax energy, dynamax energy is known to make pokemon go on rampages but we never get told if it does or doesn´t have an effect on humans, if it did have an effect on humans I think going crazy like how Rose did would be It. Also this makes sw/sh´s story make more sense, because otherwise, Rose would just be an impatient brat.
2.- Helios and Selene have PTSD from the Ultra Necrozma fight.
My headcannon is that Cilan likes to cook and bake Halloween/Autumn themed food. Cress thinks Cilan is actually going to throw a party. Chili runs with the idea but ends up messing up the Halloween Party only for Cilan to fix it.
My headcanon is that Iono loves to watch and play theater . She plays the hero, belibolt is the comic relief, mismagius is the villain and her other Pokémon are side characters and takes care of lighting.

My Halloween headcanon is Lysandre from X&Y dresses up as a male Pyroar by coloring some strands of his hair yellow with this cheap spray-color stuff you can get at the dollar store.
And he does that purely so he can go visit prof sycamore in his lab, claiming he wants to watch scary movies together, but actually he just wants to steal the full-size candy bars Sycamore hands out to the kids for himself.
Sycamore knows that, so he has a bowl of candy full of Lysandre's favorites and a hidden second bowl with the candy he actually hands out

I suppose I'm a little late to this, but my headcanon is that every year, Ingo's Chandelure is the one that wants to go out trick-or-treating. Ingo only goes and dresses up his Chandelure because it wants to go so badly, but seeing how happy his Chandelure gets, Ingo still ends up having a nice time regardless.

Since the Halloween is over now, it's time to copypaste my headcanons from the previous video:
1) Humans in the pokemon world also draw fakemons.
2) All pokemons have immunity to alcohol, because of how weak it is compared to the poison they produce.
3) Latios and Latias dont just bend light, but can actually shapeshift. Its just so happens that they dont have to do it, and would try to keep it as a last resort ability.

4) SV was all about going back to the past or future. But we already saw that in one generation before - gen 5.
In BW/B2W2 you can have either Black city or White forest, depending on the version. And also depending on the version the Opelucid city changes look to be more old or modern too. And gen 9 has a lot of ties to gen 5, which is really interesting.
Now, with that said... You can draw parallels between S AND W/W2 and V and B/B2. In the case of former, both are all about past, and latter about the future. And the box legendaries, we have clearly more primal Koraidon and more modern Miraidon... But think about Reshiram and Zekrom? You can draw parallels between Koraidon and Reshiram, but how about Miraidon and Zekrom?
TL;DR - Zekrom is secretly a robot, and I can prove it.
Zekrom has a damn turbine for a tail. Can you name me one organic pokemon that would have something like this that wont be alien or man made?
Plus, lets go further: Both Reshiram and Zekrom symbolise energy, but fire is more primal, the first source of energy humans got. Meanwhile electricity is a relatively recent power source we got. The balance of black and white, good and evil, past and future.

Here's some of my Halloween headcanons:
1) N does not like the Final Destination franchise because he thinks the moral (not to run from/cheat death) makes no sense in the context of the movies. He thinks that if the point was that these characters had to die and would be punished for fighting it, why did someone/something keep sending them visions on how to avoid dying? He's sure that, after having a psychic vision about how you're going to die, taking precautions against it would be a logical thing for any normal person to do. (In general, I think N would be the type of person to philosophically analyze the movies that he watches to death).
2) About the Zoroark thing - I have a running headcanon that the Zorua shown in flashbacks to N's childhood is his adoptive brother, and they absolutely would do this. Zoroark would be a lot more interested in causing chaos, while N just enjoys hanging out with Zoroark.
3) A sad one for y'all. It's banned in some places to adopt/trade Greavard and Houndstone during the month of October, for similar reasons as it being banned in some shelters to adopt black cats in October: people buy them as living Halloween props or to mistreat them on purpose as punching bags for superstition, and then abandon them afterwards. I imagine similar restrictions are in place concerning trading/adopting Absol - one too many twisted people adopted an Absol solely to abuse it for "causing" bad luck and disasters, and so sanctions were put in place to prevent it.
there's only ONE Gladion headcanon in this video, so take mine
1- he gets asked a LOT to dress up as a Gallade (he finds it utterly hideous)
2- he'll have no proble watching horror movies... _the problem is at bedtime_
3- when they were childs, Gladion dressed up as a Ralts and Lillie as a Kirlia (no pun intended)

He also keeps Sylvally as a Ghost or Dark-type for Halloween, but Sylvally doesn't understand why and just rolls with it.
Half of these are more like lore theories than headcanons but:
1: Arven's Scovillain likes peppers, so its head was on Arven's picnic table. Since its heads look like peppers Arven accidentally grabbed it and shoved it into a sandwich! Arven was so in the zone that he almost used his pokemon as an ingredient. This has happened multiple times.
2: The Great Crater was the site the Ultimate Weapon was aimed at. Terapagos's crystals messed up the rock so the crater seemed older than it actually was. The impact wiped out most of Paldea except for the farmers at the edges. These farmers likely didn't know that the war was even going on. This is also why Mesagoza is right next to the crater, the capital of Paldea was just rebuilt right next to where the old one was.
3: Terapagos is confirmed to be able to alter memories, right? So my headcanon is that being down in Area Zero for too long would make someone go insane from the microscopic tera crystals they're breathing in.
4: Sunkern lose their shells when they evolve, and the shells are often eaten. Artazon uses the salt from the local Nacli population to season these shells. It's a delicacy there!
5: N was a PMD GTI protagonist who was defeated by Munna's gang. However, he kept his ability to talk to Pokemon. Kyrem's role in those games might have also contributed to his lore.
6: Unovans pronounce Rayquaza like ray-quah-zah and people from Hoenn have turned it into a meme. Unovans also pronounce Hipopotas wrong every time. People in Galar have also turned this into a meme.
7: Bede made approximately a dozen escape attempts from Opal's Gym before finally being converted.
8: Dawn's favourite food is marshmallows. Not even in hot chocolate or smores, just straight out of the bag.
9: I think that someone constantly plows the roads in Snowpoint city just to save the residents from being snowed in all of the time. Maybe it's an Avalugg tuned-snowplow?
10: Cynthia uses her Garchomp to pressure the poor teenage interns into giving her free Castelia cones when she visits Unova. Then she tips them.
Headcanon: there is a singular drifloon that always just has tea parties with the children it takes but because of this it can’t make any friends with other drifloon because they think it’s weird
The reason Kyurem is a man eater is because of a trauma response.
We broke him, so of course he’d think the only good we will ever do is feed a carnivore.
On a much less terrifying note, Reshiram almost never lands because every time she does, there’s a high risk of getting stuck under a pile of everyone who insists on feeling the big warm floof.
Also Zekrom is not only a chronic daydreamer, but also a Very Stubborn Bastard. Hilarity often results.

1: Kieran is obsessed with peanut butter anything, when he got to Unova and tried his first Reese's, he literally cried tears of joy

I have an adorable little Halloween headcanon with Ogerpon:
Whenever Florian/Juliana go trick or treating, they bring Ogerpon along dressed as different Pokémon, like cofagrifus, mimikyu, darkrai, ceruledge, deoxys and the like.
A headcanon I thought of while watching this video is that Carmine loves to pick out matching/couple costumes for Kieran and the player (Florian/Juliana) to dress up in. Despite Kieran's reluctance and bashful nature, pairing with the player actually makes him so excited!
Here's a couple:
1. Iris is deathly afraid of fairy types.
2. After Lana lost to Guzma in the league, she completely changed her battle style to be even more ruthless than Guzma's so that Primarina would never have to lose a battle like that ever again.
Headcanon: is Paul dresses up for Halloween he would dress up as James and when asked what he’s dressed as, he says that he’s a criminal who’s bad at being a criminal.
My New Headcanons:
Iono spends so much time streaming and looking online that she NEVER sleeps and her little Magnemites have to donk her in the head sometimes. She also trained them to do that thing where they fly around her head when she loses in dizziness.
When in private, Cynthia uses a baby voice when talking to her Garchomp and treats her like a dog at home. She also shows clear favoritism and treats Garchomp better than her other Pokémon.
Drasna uses her Altaria as a pillow.
Rika actually does cool adventurer stuff with her Clodsire and other Pokemon, but must tone down her adventurous spirit to be an Elite Four member.
Hassel often spends time painting with his Baxcalibur. The Baxcalibur tries to paint too but is very bad at it. But Hassel always pats him on the back and tells him he did a good job!
After Pecharunt is caught, when he uses his signature move Malignant Chain and signature ability Poison Puppeteer, the Pokemon it gets used on temporarily falls under his control for the duration of the battle.
Sometimes, Hassel and Brassius do art together. They bring their Baxcalibur and Sudowoodo too.
Cynthia dresses up her Garchomp as a baby and carries her around in a Garchomp-sized stroller sometimes.
And here’s a Halloween one: Trainers with shapeshifting/illusion Pokemon (like Ditto or Zorua) bring them out on Halloween so they can shapeshift into other Pokemon and people will never suspect it.
Headcanon:
Most trainers that have a Mimikyu got it during Halloween because they gave it candy and Mimikyu followed them thinking it got a friend.

"The Ditto that couldn't transform its face" is a tale that parents tell their kids, kinda like The Ugly Duckling, which led to a bunch of merchandise and resulted in some Dittos just not transforming their faces.
Pokédex entries are just regional folktales about the pokémon.
Pikachu got most of its in-universe popularity because Red became champion of the indigo league using it as one of his main Pokémon.

Ash can tell it's Team Rocket when they're in costume because he recognizes their aura. He just plays along with it because he can see the work put into them and feel bad for them.
Headcanon 2: Playing off Headcanon 1, Ash is pretty adapt to using aura, he can communicate with pokemon, can tell when people are lying, can sense things going on near or far from him, spiritual connect with pokemon(see the Larvatar episodes), ect. He's pretty much a pokemon jedi. He's embarrassed to talk about it because people think he's weird for it. He's only ever told N and the Alola crew. Maybe he'd tell his other friends later on when he is more comfortable with it.
(( I don’t know. I just like to think Ash is smarter than we give him credit for. He's a goofball people underestimate. Also, Aura is weird and feels essential like the force. ))
Headcanons:
1. If you make a joke about a Pokemon's double weakness, they will either be really offended or find it hilarious. Cynthia's Garchomp is the latter.
2. The reason Mimikyu kills those who see it isn't because it's so scary, but because you only see a small part of it or see it obscured, so when your mind tries to fill in the blanks, it creates something so horrific it shuts down.
These are gonna be some long ones, so you might wanna sit back for these.
1. 12.67% of Unova's population is made up of Zoruas and Zoroarks.
1b. The reason for this is that in Hisui (where they originate) the Zoroark line is feared and hated due to all the legends about them, the scorn that they receive, and the general fear of Pokemon.
However, when foreigners from places where people are more adjusted to Pokemon (mainly Unova) arrive in Hisui, they don't see the terrifying shapeshifters that the legends make them out to be, and instead see them as a bunch of cute, fluffy foxes with a penchant for mischief, and thus proceed to catch them and take them back home to give them the love and care they deserve.
This goes on for a few generations, Zoruas and Zoroarks being given love and praise outside of Hisui, to the point that any resentment is washed out alongside their Ghost-typing, giving us the now modern-day Dark types.
The remaining Hisuian Zoruas and Zoroarks, after learning of this from travelers and others of their now Dark line, collectively decide that it's time to move on to greener pastures, and proceed to do a mass exodus from Hisui by any means, from using illusions to get aboard boats to joining up with the nearest travelers who want them, and head to lands where they won't be scorned. The majority of them just happen to head to Unova. (This is why you can't find them in Sinnoh)
The Unovans, who at this point have gotten used to the illusion foxes, didn't seem to mind that much when more of them seemed to pop up, nor did they when the person they were talking to happened to turn into a black/white, laughing vulpine. Eventually, this became so common that people started to ignore the fox in the room, and treated the illusions like they were just another person.
This continued into the modern day, where Zoruas and Zoroarks living as regular people in disguise was just a fact of life in Unova.
(Though admittedly, it would be weird for a person to be completely silent, or to speak in barks. Actually...)
1c. Due to their history of mimicry, the Zoroark line is the one most capable of learning non-telepathic speech.
2. (Though I'm not a big fan of Tobias, this is just to help balance out the large amount of hate he has.)
The reason that Tobias has a Darkrai, is that when he was a young boy, a Darkrai ended up encountering Tobias while he was sleeping and ended up giving him nightmares. Tobias, still the little edge lord he is now, found them to be awesome instead of scary. This endearment caused the Darkrai to constantly visit him while he slept until one night Tobias ended up catching him, and ended up becoming friends with the mythical all throughout his childhood until eventually he became a trainer and the Darkrai his starter.
The origins of his Latios and other potentially Legendary Pokemon, is still up in the air, however.
2b. (Just thought of this while writing the previous paragraph)
Tobias has a sister, who has a Cresselia as a starter, who she met due to getting constant nightmares from Darkrai's presence. Cresselia just happened to meet her, after she abruptly woke from a nightmare, and proceeded to comfort her and stay by her side while she slept, this went on for so long that they eventually became friends. The Darkrai and Cresselia are neutral towards each other, mostly sticking by their respective trainers; Cresselia giving his sister sweet dreams, while Darkrai gives Tobias the most metal Zdzislaw Beksinski nightmares ever, which he finds awesome.
Also, Tobias' sister also has a Latias (origins also unclear), and in contrast to her brother, is an absolute Cinnamon Roll.
3. (I SWEAR I had a third one, but for the life of me, I can't remember it. So for now, this is just a free space until I can remember it, or I think of something different.)
This headcanon is basically just a snapcube reference and based off of the one with giratina appearing in dawn or Lucas’ nightmares: when giratina appears in either dawn or Lucas’ nightmares it will say “dawn/lucas it’s me the devil I’ve come to convince you to do sin and steal candy from babys and money from small businesses and I’m not talking about Walmart”
My headcanon is that misty sometimes can’t go to sleep at night because she’s to busy thinking what will happen if she encounters a dewpider
I dunno about Iberia, but the Day of the Dead is also a celebration in Italy, albeit celebrated much less than in Mexico, and seeing how similar Iberia is to Italy, I can imagine that Paldea used to have a rich tradition of celebrating the Day of the Dead, but with time it began losing importance, mostly with Unovan Halloween spreading more and more in the region.

I have a bunch of headcanons that are about locations:
1) Sprout Tower is said to be built around a 100 foot tall Bellsprout. I believe that the Bellsprout mutated to become rooted into the ground and more plant-like, similar to how bamboo grows ridiculously fast.
2) Mahogany town is said to be home to ninjas, yet we never see any. I think that this inspired the ninja boy trainer class to be made.
3) Ever Grande City is a city; it's just there was once a great battle centuries or millennia ago. There probably was a massive battalion of soldiers that conquered every bit of Hoenn except victory road and Ever Grande. The last of the remaining unconquered part of Ever Grande fought greater Hoenn and it was as bloody as it could be. That's why there's spider lilies where you fought Wally.
4) Floroma Town developed because pokemon were attracted by the flowers and gathered there, and nomads ended up settling there.
5) Opelucid City lives in every timeline and time period at once. That's it. No explanation.
6) N's Castle was created by the help of N's Zoroark. On Bulbapedia, Zoroark's biology section states, "Zoroark can create illusions that are indistinguishable from reality, deluding many people simultaneously. It can even create illusory landscapes in the forests where it dwells, to hide its territory and protect its den." The castle rising out of the ground was just Zoroark transferring the illusion from underground (which only Team Plasma would have ever seen) to aboveground.
Idk if you said mine, but just in case, I wanna comment this early.
The reason why Hisuian Typhlosion no longer occurs (often) is because of guidelines and precautions set have made Sinnoh/Hisui safer, and now it doesn’t have any souls to burn as fuel to keep it’s fire burning.
Also, ORAS Shelly is definitely very flexible.

A quick-ish, cute headcanon
The effect of getting ill and dying if you see a Mimikyu lessens as they get closer. As in the stronger a bond between trainer and Mimikyu, the longer the trainer can look at the true form of Mimikyu, but only their Mimikyu. So I you became best friends with one you could look at it's true form for days straight and only catch a small cold.
I thought the thing about Lusamine fusing with Nhilego wasn't that it was scary for her, it's that it was ADDICTIVE. She probably wakes up in a cold sweat jonesing for another hit of Nhilego venom to get her through the day.
Headcanon: Some of the move tutors that teach legendary moves in USUM/SM used to be friends with those legendary Pokemon, and they know exactly how the moves work.

6:11 It's been obvious from the start that Blue's Ratacate didn't die, it's 2 levels lower than what Ratatta evolves at! But Ratacate can spawn in the wild at that level. So that's clearly just a 5th party slot that he swaps out periodically for whatever he thinks is strong. Matpat did an entire theory on this but y'all are still going on about it.
My headcanon is that all of team skull likes dressing up in really bad homemade costumes and scaring everyone, and they all get scolded by Guzma but Guzma secretly likes doing it too
And my friends headcanon is that all the galarian gym leaders have a fierce competition every year to see who can make the scariest haunted house, but alastor wins every year even though he just throws up a few ghost cloth costumes on strings in his gym and calls it a day

Commented on the last video but here's some of my MANY Goh headcanons
1) despite wanting to catch all of the pokemon, he is scared of some of them, one of which being Hypno (I'm projecting)
2) He makes Ash watch documentaries with him, and did the same with Chloe when they were kids
3) HATED gym class when he was in school, he's canonically unathletic (it's so funny)
4) has a sock collection (I'm projecting again
My headcanon is that ash loves serena back, but can't tell her because he KNOWS how much bonnie would make fun of them.
I feel like Ash would be clueless when it comes to love.
Headcanon: in Sun/Moon Lillie chose to leave Nebby behind with the main character because she realized Nebby wanted to go on a journey that she couldn't provide and since she knew the pain of having dreams stopped by family she chose to differ from Lusamine and actually respected the will of her baby :3

I have a good headcanon: Ash gets extremely excited watching action movies, and everybody watching the movie has to tell him to quiet down.
Or he starts critiquing the battle strategies if they include Pokémon battles. Everyone has to tell him that it’s not real and just for entertainment
