Thanks brotha! I knew I was onto something when I had the idea to combine them both glad both companies were so cool & came together with a competitor to show how awesome a Yamaha R1 tail section can be!💯🙌
I hate to hear that I've not had any issues at all. Did you clean the surfaces properly & heat them up before actually installing? Either way, you could grab some double-sided 3m tape from your local autoparts store & replace the adhesive... Hate to hear you had this problem. I've not had any issues with mine!🤷♂️
This was a sweet install vid and easy to follow,. Now I want to do this exact same setup with my new R1. When having to connect all the wires together, is it fairly simple, did you have to splice into the wires from bike or just the ones with the modded lights?
Just the ones from the modded light as I cut right after the stock connector then undid the connection & wired it to the kit it's very simple it just takes a little time & patience if you've never done wiring like this before I say go for it!
Lol yeah Amotopart killed it on the fairings! The pearl in the paint is👌 it's hard to tell on camera definitely even better on person! Appreciate the love!🙌
I've had them on over 6 months & no issues plus the company seems behind the product I'm sure if you have any issues & let them know they'd make it right! Use code wheeliewinnin FOR a discount & go for it they looks SWEET installed!💯
Question: I'm about to do this exact same thing to my 17' R6 (Except without the JL detached turn signals, just the VF Light + the JL rear light) Will adding more output to the original wires put too much load on the wire? [If anyone has any other suggestions im open to hear]
That was a great question! No as these are all LED & don't take very much to power maybe 5 to 10 watts per kit installed you could run into the problem of needing and upgraded rectifier or battery but it would take much more then adding a few led lights! Hope this helped🙌💯
@@wheeliehutjr This was helpful, thank you for letting me know. I'm excited to see how they look on my bike (Also i tried using the Coupon code on the JL Design website and it says its Inactive -- I copy and pasted it directly from the description like 5 times, idk whats wrong)
@justinbrown7254 thank you maybe try it in the order notes idk I'll message him & let him know I appreciate you letting me know!🙌 make sure to send me a picture when you get it done💯🔥
That is a good way to secure them as well however I've been doing stereos & stuff for 10+ year's & never had any issues if you twist them together tight & use the right size heat shrink shouldn't have any issues hope this saves you some time in the future!!!
First time I've heard of anyone having this issue... However, if its part of one of these kits, I'd reach out by email & let them know what happened... I wouldn't doubt it if they send you a replacement!👀
Very nicely done, a huge safety benefit, and it looks awesome!!
Definitely a HUGE safety benefit the more to get someone on their phones attention the better😬😂
The hardest tail light EVER to be put on a yamaha R1!🔥👌🏽🔥
It looks great bro!💯

Looks nice. Laughed when I saw the 2 alan wrenches. Like wtf lol Godspeed
Thank you! What's crazy is you can really use just those 2 Alan wrenches to do 75%+ of anything on the bike💯😂
Nice! Did the same on mine for $13 off amazon
Looks great bro!!!!
Thanks brotha!🙌🤓
Love that R1!
Great Installation video brutha
Thanks brotha! I try to make them as helpful as possible in the spots I know some people might get caught up on as possible! 🙌🤓
I have the same setup. JL designs setup is solid. VF designs light strip adhesive is already failing on the contact side and the black fabric

gonna have to slide at least one of these on the r6 🔥
Which one you thinking?🤔👀
@@wheeliehutjr probably the JL but I can’t make my mind up 😂😂

Str8 🔥
I know I love it!😍😍
This build is one of the best I've ever seen. Is that a wrap or are they aftermarket fairings?
Just looked at your channel and answered my own question. Definitely going to sub keep the videos coming
Lol yeah Amotopart killed it on the fairings! The pearl in the paint is👌 it's hard to tell on camera definitely even better on person! Appreciate the love!🙌
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I really want the vf designs tail light kit but it seems so cheap and heard they lights die pretty quickly

She looks beautiful. Is there an aftermarket for the gas gage?
Thanks brotha! & not that I'm aware of if you find one let me know I never understood why Yamaha didn't put one on from factory🤦♂️😮💨
@@wheeliehutjr because it's a race dedicated bike and not having a gas gauge helps loose extra weight 😉

@justinbrown7254 just talked to him he said try it again! WHEELIEWINNIN
@@wheeliehutjr Awesome, thanks for helping me out with that! Will do!
Does the light will fit in yamaha r15 v4
So the the kit the I installed won't but if I'm not mistaken they actually make one for it as well! Hope this helped!🙌
Nice how can i order, code?
I put a link to each website in the description & just type code- wheeliewinnin in at checkout!🙌🤓
👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

Should solder before heat shrink..

I had this installed for not even a month. And now my left rear tail light running light isnt working. Did anyone have this issue?

Lights taped on? Probably already fell off.
They've stayed on just fine honestly & at high speeds alot its all in the surface area prep cleaning it & heating it so it sticks good!💯
