    My son bought me one and it's actually tight on my legs. Trying to find out how to reduce the tension to massage my legs.

      start gently. Maybe just your quads/hamstrings. I know my lower legs are very sensitive, especially over the bony areas or after hard workouts.
      your legs may be a bit sensitive and you may feel better using something more gentle like a roller, "The Stick" or seeing a massage therapist. Roll Recovery also now sell an adjustable R8, maybe that's worth a try 😀
