IMHO, every guitarist should own a nylon stringed acoustic. A very handsome guitar for sure, the wider string spacing helps encourage finger and hybrid picking styles. Thanks for the review, great content.
Thanks a lot for the feedback! I thought about things that might be interesting for anyone considering to buy one, like unplugged volume, gigbag and the capo. Cheers, Lukas
Guys the actions go all the way down to 2.0mm at the low E 12th fret. All you need for this is to use correct strings (NOT EJ45's) that have 14.5+ lbs of tension on all strings especially the G. Best ones imo Hannabach 815 Silver Specials red package. Mine shipped at 3.0mm so just shave the saddle with sandpaper until you get there and if you go to far you can prop it back up with a sliver of a business card but playing it at 2.8mm is not going to be realistic when you play anything advanced.
Great video Lukus, If i were looking for nylon String Guitar,, i would shre put my intress in this Ibanez, Ibanez dure have sure uped there game! From what I was use to in the 80',s Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays you & Martin & Families 🤘🎸🤠🎅🙏🎄
Always hard to tell without handling an instrument, but this seems like it was a better executed guitar than the lower end of the Fender Acousti-Sonics, though they're all steel strings. Really an interesting idea though probably a niche instrument.
Hey brich581! Thanks for the comment. Perhaps a niche instrument, but a successful one. Really hard to get one as it's been backordered since release. Not sure how much of that is due to Tim Henson's popularity. The fair price is probably also contributing to that. Cheers, Lukas
Hi there. Thanks a lot! Purely form adjusting the truss rod. Sanding the bridge is of course also an option, but it's not my guitar so I didn't modify it permanently. Cheers, Lukas
How is that sound comparing to normal acoustic guitar and comparing with normal classic guitar? Can this guitar sound like steel string acoustic guitar?
Hi there. I don't have the guitar anymore so I can only tell from memory. It sounds different than a steel string and a regular classical guitar due to the thinner body. I don't own a classical guitar so I could never compare it side by side, plus you're supposed to plug in the TOD10N, then you can shape the tone with the eq controls. So really difficult to compare... In terms of steel string, it's a completely different animal due to the nylon strings and will never sound like a steel string guitar. Cheers

Hey HK Guitar! Fair point, it's definitely a tone you cannot achieve otherwise! Thanks a lot for watching and the feedback. Cheers, Lukas
I like the deep dive into the actual sound plugged in. Thanks.

Did you have to sand down the saddle on the bridge to lower the action or purely from adjusting the truss rod?
Great, demo and review.
