That's my mistake doing to much to soon in the short 4 weeks I've been doing grippers. My hands are really sore now so I'm going to take a week or to off and take it from there.👍
Im a beginner when it comes to the gripers, I started with one and now its easy, I bought no2 it was too difficult cause I have "ladies" hand. I changed my no2 to 1.5. I warm up 20min before with egg ball, a soft small hand ball. I want hands that are strong and healthy. 3 set with no1 10 times each and 3 set with no1.5 5 rep, its not easy but not impossible.
If you have ladies hands I must have a female child’s hands lol I just found some grippers at good will 100lb and 150lb and I cannot do the 150 and only barely get the 100 and I’m a mid age man lol I’m strong but and I can dead hang but my grip is very weak I gues
@@klikklak6099 you easily get strong in short time, warm up with those egg balls at least 15minutes before and after, and get a good glove and cream your hands after my hands were fucked there were schrinked like old ladies.
Yo Jedd, what are your thoughts on sand training for hand strength? You see a lot of people on UA-cam digging their hands in a bucket full of sand/rice and doing all kinds of hand movements like twisting, opening and closing them. How much of an impact do you think this has on improving hand strength???
I personally don't see how that can possibly makes your hands very strong. Blood flow, recovery, injury prevention, limited budget training, yes. Seriously strong hands, not so much.
@@gripstrength That was a bloody fast response Jedd. I was expecting you to address this question in a video you but now there is no need for it. Thanks, brother. ,👍
As someone who have been with a few different YT channels ....The best way that I’ve seen implemented to grow in the 10k-70k range is throu interaction be it ( positive or negitive ) in the comment section....I feel since the short time I’ve been here that it has gotten better but If you step it up with better discorse this channel could potentially be 40k in a year easy

So it want hurt anything to use them everyday right, I use them nightly to help with strength but more because I always need to be figiting something so they help allot with that too

Hey Napalm! I am a rock climber who trains for climbing 4-5 days a week. I want to add some other grip exercises into my repertoire but find that my elbows get really messed up. Any tips on managing volume? I have been weighing around 185, and can do a deadhang on a 3/4 inch edge with 80lbs. Thanks!
I wonder here: if your goal is to get as strong grip as possible, should you not also regularly train for example forearm curl and wristroller? I think these are the basic exercises for building muscle mass and strength. I wonder because I have got the impression that some people only use grippers.
Jedd, would it improve grip strength and gripper strength a lot to include wrist curls and reverse wrist curls? Will they help me close coc grippers much better
@@gripstrength I can do 11 kg dumbbell wrist curls rt hand 51 reps , lt hand 47 reps. 20 kg wrist curls for 9 reps each side. Is that enough wrist strength? And do wrist curls build much forearm , tendon strength for grippers?
Just by reading what you're currently doing, I can tell you that you're not training optimally. You need a better program. You should email me and we can talk about setting up a program. jedd.diesel@gmail.com. That is a service I provide, I'm very good at it, and you honestly need my help.
Jedd i read about someone who could crush an apple with their grip strength. What kind of level would your grip need to be at to do that? I don't specialise in grip but do a lot of axle work etc. Kind of hard question to answer i think! That would be a cool party trick to pull off!
Any tips on strengthening the wrists? I find my grip is decent, but my wrists sometimes feel weak or unstable. Been doing some random stuff with a sledge hammer, but I feel like I have no idea what I'm doin, honestly😂
i have a problem at my back since 2 months and the only exercise that i can do that excludes completely my back is grippers, so i really am supe motivated in training and this is the only thing that i can do so i was thinking on doing grippers everyday until i recover what do you think?

You should definitely train for wrist strength.
If you had to pick only one type of grip training would grippers be the best way to gain a firm handshake 🤝 if that was your main/only goal?
It would be good, but I think a little wider would be better. I have an idea for something.

If your weak wrists are what's holding back your gripper strength, then you would need to address that.
