In Germany as well. Always funny, when an English title is swapped for another English title. Still English, but more accessible to the average person. Often it's just weird, though. Taken became 96 Hours here, and then 96 Hours: Taken 2.
That reminded me of a happy dog from the newer Puss in boots movie: "They said they wanted to play a game with me. They tied some rocks to my sock, and then they threw me into the water. They said it was like fetch, but with a twist. They laughed and waved goodbye, and then they drove away. I thought it was very fun, so I swam to the shore and untied the rocks. I waited for them to come back, but they never did. I guess they forgot about me. But that’s okay, because I still have my sock and my rocks, and I can play the game anytime I want." ;-( Also, I'm sure Polar is great!
My whole theater had a blast. It's sad some people didn't enjoy the movie. It seems like they were too caught up with the gross out humor and cursing and missed out on the heartfelt moments that Chris mentioned. Abusive relationships, self-guilt, finding companionship in places you never expected were all themes in the movie. I loved those moments. It had more heart than I expected and I enjoyed it. I actually gave a damn about those dogs. Plus the dogs were so darn cute.
This movie is so heart wrenching for me. I cant help to tear up watching small pups alone and hiding and telling their friend their name is Shitbag. 😢😢😢
