thank you so so much about the guide its perfect! all i would ask for is if possible in future guides to add subtitles if possible it would help a bit (: thank you so much and keep making these!
Thanks, I like the idea of having a bomb tank and smash tank for P3, that should make it a much much cleaner phase so I can assign myself as the bomb tank and position Blackhand where I want him. We're still having difficulties in P2, feels like its overly chaotic but we'll give your strat a go and hope it just clicks for everyone.
Minor correction: I noticed in attempts that, as a tank, I was actually knocked in the direction my butt was facing. e.g., if I turned to the left, but the boss was facing forward, I'd be knocked backwards relative to my facing. May have changed since I last had attempts but potentially good info to verify
Ah interesting, thanks for the heads up (and especially the kind way you presented the correction)! I'll see if I can check with our tanks next week and add an annotation to the video.
I was wondering the same thing.. At first I thought the other team didn't taunt but after wiping I decided to just get knocked back with the group and walk the boss to his next position. Which resulted in my survival and a kill.
Legends Anonymous basicly the bomb tank position himself +- 30 yards away when other tank taunted to get boss and raid away from the slagpool after the knockback with a asap taunt
whow at those haters a priest explaining perfect tank tacts...maybe learn to tank or get a life ?? i follow this guy his guides for years and appriciate them AS A TANK^^
I know, the GALL of this guy! It's like he probably has a particular role he plays in his raids and doesn't even have the *decency* to change his entire raid team around so he can get footage from one particular perspective, solely because some person on the internet can't listen to the instructions of the guide and use his or her imagination to extrapolate the meaning from a different perspective! IT'S BLASPHEMOUS IS WHAT IT IS, I TELL YOU!
***** I'd agree with you if this wasn't a "tank" guide. He has a VERY valid point. I think it's a great guide with great knowledge, but the healer PoV actually makes it hard to visually see things. It's also the reason you had to explain p3 longer than you had to.
***** thank you for this amazing guide and your great work in general. i must also say, that while watching this i thought to myself 'oh, it would be so nice to have it from a tank pov'.
Nom Naut Quite frankly, this is a big issue. You can't even see the tank most of the time. Considering this is a fight where positioning is a HUGELY important aspect, it's just not very helpful at all. Why even have footage of the fight if you can't see the tank? A gif of the mechanic would have been just as helpful.
***** Your response is ridiculous. Maybe don't make tanking guides if you don't tank? Or collaborate with a decent tank? There are many POV tank videos online, I'm sure more than one would be willing to let you use theirs in order to explain the tanking mechanics visually. The fact that you think a healer's POV is effective enough for a fight of this difficulty and complexity just underscores how little you understand about tanking.
These guides made me a more confident tank. I check every day to see if there is anything for HFC.
millhunkydc Me too, I haven't seen anything though which worries me. ):
As always, awesome guide. Pretty clear and helpful. keep it up o/

Sure thing! I mean it may end up not being the case at all, but it certainly seemed so my last go at it. Thanks for considering it ^__^b

Where does the bomb stand stand after the Smash tank taunts in order to not get hit with smash&marks and be in position to taunt Blackhand back?
