My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!

I have been struggling for quite awhile now. Just yesterday I asked God to show me that He still loves me. Then today, I came across this song and I know that this was from Him.
He knew exactly what I needed. My Heavenly Father loves me!! He cares about me and knows my every need.
I have always loved the Gaither family, but didn't know that they are still singing and reaching the lost. Thank you Gaither Family!!

Dear Mary…I will pray for His Holy Spirit to fill you with joy and peace overflowing! I had a face to face encounter with Jesus at age 5 1/2. At age 21, I became the prodigal son for 21 years. He NEVER left me nor did He forsake me…thru real serious times I should have died or been in jail. He gave me 3 beautiful saved daughters, a 48 year great successful business career. He kept His arms around me thru serious back surgery, a 4 way open heart bypass, and so much more.I am now 80 years old. My joy and peace in Jesus, my closest Friend, grows stronger every morning as I awake. May He wrap His Arms about you and bathe you in a joy of peace!!!!! HE LIVES!!!!!! 👑✝️🌷😎🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

These gentlemen- especially David Phelps and Guy Penrod- could have chosen any genre of music and been highly acclaimed, rich, and famous. But to know that they chose to sing for God truly touches my heart and gives me that much more of an admiration for them. I LOVE the Gaither Vocal Band.

I've often said that about those two in particular as well. David could make you weep with joy singing the phone book. Great ability! Can sing any song very well.

The Gaither's is one of the first gospel groups that I ever heard. My aunt Grace played them for my brother and I. He started singing with them. My Aunt Grace and I began to cry. We had never heard my brother sing so wonderfully. He sang even up to his death almost. Now he is singing in heaven. Praise be to God almighty. I miss big brother.

This song always blesses me, I wance was a terrible drug attic, so lost, cast down , forsaken, forgot, sad, empty, alone, hurting, dead in my sin, I felt no hope, and no way out of my terrible sins, I just felt so lifeless, dirty, I just wanted to die as I kept sticking neddles in my arm, then the dear lord looked down on me and showed me another way , he showed me what a sinner I was , and that He sent His only begotten son to die for me that I might be forgiven, and have eternal life through Jesus Christ, and I got saved by His grace , and am a new creature in Christ Jesus, and have been set free from years of drug use, our lord directed me to the river that won’t run dry, and I’ve never been the same,, ive been clean for many years , and I thank God daily for letting me drink from these waters, I’m Daniel, I’m also Jewish, I’m a Jew for Jesus,,,,,, amen , bless u,,,,,,❤️

Life hands us sometimes hard things, lost of a lot of my family. 5 siblings ages 49 to 60, 2 nieces and 3 nephews in early 30's and 40's, My Dad at age 70, my sweet Mom age 99. The hardest of all was my sweet precious Husband. This song reminds me of that River of Life that born again Christians have, "Christ in us, our Hope of Glory. That River that brings strength, healing, help, mercy and Grace when we sometimes desperately need it. That River that has never failed me. Thank you Precious Holy Spirit that never ever fails....

This song is done so, so well. I just love the message, its melody, and the harmonies. David's graceful and lyrical presence is absolutely perfect and is complemented by excellent vocals throughout. As much as I love the whole song, the highlight for me is at @3:45 when Guy takes over the melody and David just swings right up into that high tenor harmony. Seamless and powerful. Love this.

I think you probably found them a few years before them. I have been collecting Gaither, GVB and Cathedral music since 1990. I cannot listen more than a few minutes before my cheeks are wet with tears of JOY!
