Michael English, Wes Hampton, David Phelps, Mark Lowry and Bill Gaither were unequivocally THE best Gaither Vocal Band. Their vocal harmony and singular nuances match better than any other GVB put together. Talent unmatched and perfection together!! I’ve worshipped, praised and had such soul changes listening to these men sing and usher us into the very Presence of God - thank you for all you’ve given to the world gentlemen!! ❤

David Phelps has the greatest singing voice God ever created! the Gaither vocal band is the Best ever. I have been listening to them for decades and never get enough. I start my day with praise and worship to Jesus with David and the vocal band
David’s solo part overwhelmed Wes’s blend in this song. It’s hard to listen Wes’s voice in the chord but he did very good job. His tenor voice in this song is very blended and clear. The last high note is Wes’s.
From pastor's daughter singing this song in church to homeless drug addict crawling back to God with this song in my heart, I am so grateful to God! I wonder if they'll ever truly know how many souls have been saved because of their ministry...

This song I remembered today from a little girl growing up in the AME Zion Church, Indpls, IN sung by the choir. I see now what this song meant as it was sung often. Remembering Jesus suffering and resurrection power, strength for my spiritual journey of the cross I bare. Thank you Jesus, I know a man from Galilee that saved a sinner one day like me. He gave me his best gift salvation, now I can go boldly to the Father God receiving mercy and grace for my life's journey through the Holy Spirit by faith and the word of God. Thank you, Lord. ak
I love the Gaither Vocal Band! David is amazing!! I Believe in A Hill Called Mt. Calvary was my husband’s favorite. He went to be with the Lord this past September. I had this song sung at his funeral. Our church music director did a awesome job singing it. I listen to it every night before I go to bed. Just makes me feel closer to him. They do such a phenomenal job with this song...love it!!
Please, PLEASE pray for me, I've been tormented for almost 8 years now. I asked Jesus to come back into my life almost 3 years ago. I'm in a spiritual warfare. I've begged everyone to help me I'm not a Catholic but I had one to come into my apartment to bless it. I call it "It" , I've been sexually assaulted in the middle of the night, "it has pulled my blanket off me in the middle of the night. I've fallen so many times resulting in numerous times in the hospital. I don't know what to do! Please, PLEASE pray for me that my Heavenly Father will overcome this evil thing! I love you Jesus!

Every single time I hear talents like Larnelle, Sandi, Michael, David & the myriad of others that Bill & Gloria have unearthed & exposed to the world, I simply have to praise GOD for giving them the gift to do so & for writing such GOD-inspired music!! HALLELUJAH, for HE (GOD) alone is worthy!!!
When I felt God abandoned me and I was about to loose my leg after have more than 17 surgeries over 7 years, through listening to the sweet worship and praying for God to touch me, I got over whelming peace. Also my leg took a miraculas turn and for the first time in 7 years I have no more infections. God gave me a new walk in him. Praise God and thank you all.

Wes is amazing...I would never discount him, but he's not The Voice of GVB. I have "Little is Much" on one of my favorites playlist. But Wes doesn't have that huge voice that David has, and he's such a nice and humble guy he seems fine to be where he is. But ever once in awhile when he has a solo bit, I go "Wow I forgot how amazing his voice is!" Even David talks about how clear his voice is, and pitch perfect. I do love Wes...I just have favorites...LOL! But everyone who's ever sung with GVB are gifts from God in my opinion...

This is a classic. At the foot of the cross, we are all accepted and we all can be forgiven of our sins. All we have to do is ask Jesus to forgive us and He certainly will. Because He lives you and I can face tomorrow. His amazing pity grace unknown and love beyond compare. One day we will see Him face to face.

Whenever I am struggling with life's demands, I turn to this site, and put everything into perspective, my listening to these wonderful worship gospel songs.
Me too Michael! I believe the Gaithers, this site, these beautiful old songs that I've known since I was a baby, have saved my life more than once. I'm so glad we have this site to go to when we are in need. I honestly don't know what else I could do in the middle if the night when my body is in pain, my heart is hurting, and God seems so far away. I can come here and just listen to these wonderful old hymns, sung by these amazing men, "and the burden of my heart rolls away...:"!!!
