If you were an intern don't put only "intern". That only says what was your relationship with the company, nobody will say their title is "full time employee". Put a title related to your tasks and what you were doing. I must say I really like the idea of separating between experience and relevant experience.
What is your opinion on using the "S.T.A.R." method for experience? The basis is Situation, Task, Action, Result; all of these should be covered within the bullet points.
I'm currently looking for some engineering related volunteering oportunity and I'm having trouble finding something that would look half decent on a resume. My grades have never been great so landing a paid-internship has never been an option. Is there any advice you could give me that would guide in my kick-starting career venture lol.
Habitat for Humanity covers a lot of bases. Aside from the altruism, you have the opportunity to interact with tradespeople which implies you can communicate high-level theory with the people on the non-technical side of engineering business (manufacturing, sales, etc). ME? Talk on HVAC subs. EE? Networking with electricians. Learn project management from the site supervisors. Lots of opportunities to tune the volunteer experience to your professional interests.
one time i was watching who i assumed to be a child whiel at a pool but there was also a lifeguard and there was a senior member of society. i had reached a verbal agreement with the owner of that child and the others had not reached that verbal agreement so i am confused about that and i want to seize their money
That "Papa John's" bit took me out of my chair ahahaha
What if I have no relevant experience. No interships. I already graduate and I'm looking for full-time job.
That was me 1.5 years ago. I put in lab work and projects
