Quinn Nitram i think pd just didnt like the style of the music itself so it probably made it difficult to get into the lyrics. i really like the song tho it makes me happy whenever i hear it !!
i disagree w/ you on naughty boy. it sounds and looks "gimicky" but that's just the surface. although, the sound itself is alright, it's actually intelligently written and conceptualized.
i was curious about what their comeback would be like without e’dawn but they really killed it with this one. this title track is absolute fire and the b-sides don’t stray too far from their typical sound, which is comforting. i’m confident that they’ll be just as successful, if not more so, in spite of the change they’ve gone through.

I love the fact that Kino was siting out of this promotion but they found a way to have him in the MV. Even in one of the dancing part you can see him in the back like a prop. Just love they didn't choose to cut him out, he is sitting, he is not doing a thing really energectic as the other but he is here !

@@Song_Jang_Mi he hurt his leg 2 month prior to the comeback. So he wasn't able to dance. He tried his best to be ok before the comeback but his body didn't follow, what he wanted. So his vocals were on the track, he did promotion (fan meeting, interviews...) But not the live stage part. You can see that in the dance relay (the other members were doing the relay and they looked for him in order for him to be in the relay without dancing) Now he is better that is why Pentagon took a bit more time to finish promotion and added a song to it !
wooseok did a mini album as a duo with kualin, where he has two solos (« always difficult always beautiful » and « domino ») his rapping has become SO good, you’re right when you say he’s improved
I wasn't a fan of their last comeback either, so I honestly didn't expect much from this one but I am really surprised by how good it is ~ I am totally in love!

"Spring Snow" is an absolutely spectacular b-side. Also, they put Kino in the small circle (the one that reminded you of Adore U) because he was recovering from an injury during the MV filming, so this is how they still included him! I think one video by Pentagon that simply did not get attention was the Japanese release of Shine. The transitions and editing in it are PHENOMENAL. If you haven't seen it yet, stop reading this comment and watch it now.
I know a lot of people complain Yuto never gets enough lines but he knows how to make his verses count. He rules the bridges in Pentagon singles (Like This, Runaway, Cosmo are my favourites). Wooseok has always been very good but I think he grew a lot more confident this comeback, which seems to be the deciding factor here.
I wasn't into Pentagon that much at first. However, when this song released, I was totally blown away and I'm so into Pentagon right now and I love the song so much. Now I'm a fan of Pentagon after listening to Sha La La and the whole album, it suits all my taste in music. PD, would you do the album listening party too? This Pentagon's comeback album is awesome and I would recommend you to listen it :)
To be fair, Wooseok was always a beast at rapping. He just didn't have a chance to fully showcase it yet. When a freakin' Dok2 tells you to go on SMTM you must be good

I do agree with you about Naughty boy i enjoyed the song & was mostly glad they came back with all the stuff going on, but it really wasn't their greatest song they brought out. Not my favorite song either. I think my favorite songs from them are You are (first EP), To Universe ( from Ceremony EP) & Genius (it's on their UA-cam channel). Favorite song of the Genie:us album is actually their bonus track called Round 1 ( really funny song, so you might not like it. But they basically all rap & make fun of each other) Also Cosmos (japanese song) was so freaking good & made me fall in love with them all over again. Proud mama right here :)

The first time I knew they had a comeback with Green Frog/Naughty boy.. I was kinda disappointed and i thought that was a bit cringey.. But, I stumbled upon an explanation video about the song, and they're really witty with the lyrics.. And I love it after knowing the meaning honestly

Such a great comeback for Pentagon! When I started my site, I wasn't planning on reacting to new releases right away, mostly due to my need to get my thoughts together better as I'd otherwise run the risk of being repetitive. But I couldn't help but run through what I loved about this release - music, choreography, the set. Everything came together very well. Ntm cleverly incorporating an injured member instead of altogether sidelining him.
i JUST realized that around 6:28 (in your video) you can see kino resting in the ”moon”/ round window behind the other dancers. thats so clever omg not only did they find a way to insert a member into the video despite him being injured but they also made it be on theme with hin as a royal. Nice

I kept away from PTG for a while as well, mostly because it hurt me the whole situation that happened. I agree their Japanese release was so fucking good, to be honest it's what brought me back to them. I'd love to see you discussing it properly in some video. I've been dying to see this. I loved Pentagon's comeback. They've been through so much, the stress and heartbreak they must have gone through in the last few months must have been unbearable, but if you relate the lyrics to that, its kind of like they're letting go of what happened and thriving regardless. Now you also see all the members being more upfront in the music videos, which is great because they deserve the exposure
The image on the bottom right was Kino, who afaik was/is injured so he couldn't do the choreography part. He is the one with red hair and you can see him in the other parts of the video. three things i don’t remember if he noticed: 1.) the cart yanan is carrying kino in is chinese styled, a nod to yanan being chinese 2.) the partition behind yuto during his rap is japanese, a nod to his being japanese 3.) kino was injured during this so he’s not in the dance sections of the song however there is someone reclining in the moon (this is assumed to be kino)

Such a great comeback for Pentagon! When I started my site, I wasn't planning on reacting to new releases right away, mostly due to my need to get my thoughts together better as I'd otherwise run the risk of being repetitive. But I couldn't help but run through what I loved about this release - music, choreography, the set. Everything came together very well. Ntm cleverly incorporating an injured member instead of altogether sidelining him.

i JUST realized that around 6:28 (in your video) you can see kino resting in the ”moon”/ round window behind the other dancers. thats so clever omg not only did they find a way to insert a member into the video despite him being injured but they also made it be on theme with hin as a royal. Nice

I kept away from PTG for a while as well, mostly because it hurt me the whole situation that happened. I agree their Japanese release was so fucking good, to be honest it's what brought me back to them. I'd love to see you discussing it properly in some video.

I've been dying to see this. I loved Pentagon's comeback. They've been through so much, the stress and heartbreak they must have gone through in the last few months must have been unbearable, but if you relate the lyrics to that, its kind of like they're letting go of what happened and thriving regardless. Now you also see all the members being more upfront in the music videos, which is great because they deserve the exposure
The image on the bottom right was Kino, who afaik was/is injured so he couldn't do the choreography part. He is the one with red hair and you can see him in the other parts of the video. I guess they wanted to include him in the dancing part in some way. edit: Been wanting you to analyse this video for a long time! So thanks for that.

three things i don’t remember if he noticed:
1.) the cart yanan is carrying kino in is chinese styled, a nod to yanan being chinese
2.) the partition behind yuto during his rap is japanese, a nod to his being japanese
3.) kino was injured during this so he’s not in the dance sections of the song however there is someone reclining in the moon (this is assumed to be kino)
