@@xbzkxpazvzv6800 I also just saw them recently at Brutal Assault. After that, I'd rather see I Am Morbid than actual Morbid Angel now. Trey is a mess these days
My absolute favorite live video of Morbid.. Sound is great. Best album ever! RAW EXTREME METAL at its best. The album itself captures the same RAW SOUND. Trey's lava is unmatched!
@@markkevorkian I remember Nile playing "Defiling the Gates of Ishtar" and "The Black Flame" a year before "Black Seeds of Vengeance" came out! Great times!
This is one of the best underground concerts recorded on youtube that I have ever seen. I would have paid top dollar for this on ebay in the 90's. Keep it morbid, my fellow angels.
Jesus Pete was fast! It's incredible that the first guy playing like this could reach 250bpm, much more remarkable than guys doing 280bpm today! And it all sounds so vital and organic but still tight, compared to todays "techblasting". Formulas and World Downfall are the best blast-albums in history, it has never after that sounded so flying, bpm isn't everything.
+celinean1 Indeed man!!! You perfectly expressed my feelings. Its really a pity that there are no Pete`s drum cams from this era. All those modern tech death bpm fucked up onanists would be embarrased. And here, Sandoval simply slays!!! Long live Mr Commando!!!
Crazy thing os. Yea drummers today may go 280-300 bpm. but they all play the 2 foot blast. Pete always and o ly did the one foot blast! amazing. I myself am trying to get faster then this with the one foot blast. I have some vids. but yea you're right. people say pete wasn't technical and crao. no way. he had feel to the music. something drummers most of them imo dont.
Exactly, I think it comes down to Pete doing it with one foot most of the time. It adds this subtle but noticeable sense of urgency and a bit of chaos to it. 2-footed might be more precise but it sounds too relaxed.
@@h.k.295I am morbid are a cheap cover band, considering Trey is the founding member and owner of the band itself. Without him it's not the real deal.
🔥MORBID ANGEL🔥🤘🏻👹🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥
Trey and Erik know how to deal with Pete being on serious fire when he plays live...shit is like 30 bpms faster than album version!!!!
RIGHT ON!!!!!! PETES ENTHUSIASM!!!!!!
Holy shit he was burning!!
i can't imagine keeping up that double bass for a whole hour
Pete+Trey+Tucker+Rutan= perfection!
Pete Sandoval was on his own level during this time.
bro, i watched him live a weaks ago with i am morbid, he still blasting like a madman!!!

I was at this show, NILE and DECEASED opened...great fucking show, great club that is no longer open unfortunately...Coney Island High R.I.P.
I am sorry but this is incorrect. I was there and can see myself at various points during the show. Napalm Death opened this show
Wow. That's a crazy line up

this should have been a live record, fuck!

Nothing compares to this time of Pete Sandoval!!!!! He went past the limitations of drumming on formulas!!!! 😊🥁❤️🎶
Eric Rutan.... Best of all
Pete is a fucking monster!!
Wow. i wish they still had this lineup
Well Steve is back, hopefully erik contributes something to the band
Erik produced their upcoming new album.
HeavinGG EAAARTH!!!
I think that there are only two recorded versions of heating earth on record on UA-cam for a concert
@@christianeasley767 This and one in canada if I'm not mistaking

Lol. They have never played that song live with Steve. Only with David. Not sure why that is.

the best album they ever did, its a shame they quit making stuff with this energy
Well, now with tucker back at least will get something that's worth of Morbid Angels name, hard to top Formulas and Covenant.
The quality of the audio, video and camerawork is pure perfection. I watch this video over and over, man.
Holy shit, they so rarely play Heaving Earth, it’s a shame, it’s such a great song, I’m glad they played it here tho
Got to see them On this tour......Love How they all had fans keeping their hair blowing..lol
Man, what a set list and lineup! I bet this was earth shattering in person.
rphxleonine it was man. Wish I could go back and relive it haha
Awesome setlist. And great video. Only problem is no Invocation of the continuous one
11:40 Greatest WOS live solo... Trey🍒
Chills 😱
This looks so underground, i love it, like they are still on their first record, their best live video on youtube
The quintessential Morbid Angel line-up.
+ObeyGiant841 I agree. I totally dig the albums with Tucker. Formulas is still one of my favorites.
Superbe ce concert entier MERCI
GREAT video ...... THANK
This show is awesome. .I miss this morbid angel..
this is a killer bootleg!! great audio
MORBID ANGEL !!! 🤘👹🤘🔥🔥🔥
Amazing post!! Great footage and sound!! Thank you..... Morbid Angel will live forever!!!
Amazing.
I think this was the only tour that they played "Sworn to the Black" with STEVE
Excellent post, thanks a lot! :-)
The best time for Morbid Angel.
Pete Sandoval is a monster!
Best live video of MA on here. Not even close.
Great show... but the Morbid Angel logo is placed too high... covers exactly the spot where Trey's brilliant soloing is going on...
Pete have the formula fatal to the beat...
On this date, according to their tour dates, they played the Palladium, Worcester MA, so either date, or venue is wrong.
Date must be wrong then, because Steve says "Fuck yeah New York!"
Thats the fastest I've seen heaving earth played
They only did one song from Altars
