I've been playing Nintendo since the 90's when I was little. When the violin hits the high octaves, it produces a nostalgia effect that brings tears of bliss.
It's like I'm listening to these songs for the first time again. Very rare occasion to have I applaud you brother.
Flashman's theme is probably in my top 3 of the Robot Masters' themes in MM2. Really love your take on it!

Flash Man has one of my top 5 mega man themes ever...and I get picky about my favorite mega man themes.
You. Freaking. NAILED this. The harmony is perfect and the reverb makes it fitting for an icy stage; something I'd expect to hear if they ever remade MM2 with an orchestral OST.

Ah Mega Man 2...so many memories from that game. The first Mega Man game I ever played and to this day the only Mega Man where I loved pretty much ever song in it. Personal Favorites though were this one (and such a brilliant remix of that song this is!) and Dr Wily's castle (first two stages). Thank you for doing this remix, loved it. If I ever played MM2 again I would have to mute the game and play this song on a loop while going through the stage!

Hi SPG :) I'll be honest, I stopped watching this channel when you started uploading lots of Undertale covers (mainly because I had no interest in the game at the time). I hope this AMAZING Mega Man cover will begin a new era of diversity for your channel :P (By the way, I just went through lots of your old covers and had the biggest nostalgia trip. How was 2014 so long ago?) And may I request some more Animal Crossing music in the future? :D
No problem. Each his own. :) Undertale has become a special one for me personally because it bonded me and my daughter even closer. She has beaten the harder bosses that I cannot beat myself and has even drawn fanart of the game. She has memorized the OST and is eagerly awaiting for my next Undertale covers. Luckily, a LOT of Stringees are awaiting too!
It will forever have a special spot in my channel. But I still have a ton of other games to cover as well. It's only a matter of time.

+Comic Sanspyrus Technically, when people refer to VGM, they usually mean "music that originated from video games." As opposed to music that was composed outside of games, but later used in gaming. For example the Star Wars main theme, originated from the films but subsequently used in Star Wars games, would still be classified as "film music". There are some exceptions to the rule but this is the default setting.

Not much of a fan of Mega Man in general, but this sounded great! The electric violin lends itself well to these sorts of songs, but I do miss the classic acoustic of the golden oldie.
You know, hearing these Mega Man tracks suddenly makes me realize all of them sound good as rock remixes...which, of course, makes sense because it's "Rockman" in Japan. :P
