Seems like a miniaturized version of the lakewood knot tool ( without the eye threader.) . I've found that good old hemostats will work just as easy for tying Clinch, Improved Clinch and Double Davy Knots.
Two thumbs up for me. Knot Kneedle really helps me: I have shakey fingers (tremors). Literally cuts knot time in half when my tremors kick in and lose grasp of tippet & leader tag ends. The ease of this tool takes out the difficulty that you have using hemostats with shakey fingers.
I love my knot kneedle! Simple to use, saves me a LOT of time on the water, and really helps with my knot consistency! I bought mine after a trip where I broke off flies and connecting knots on my leader losing a number of really good fish. Since then, I have seen a huge decrease in the number of fish I lose due to knots.
Too much wasted line especially tying to tippet that is only 2 to 3 feet anyway. The way I see it the tool is 3 inches long so you will have roughly 6 inches of waste each tie.
I bought a TIE FAST KNOT TYING TOOL 15 years ago it's absolutely fantastic i even use it to build my leaders easily with this tool everybody has ripped the nail knot design from this tool you don't need a tool to TIE a clinch knot people,
