I’m bemused as to why you care who is on whose shoulders. Everyone’s having a great time. It’s the Arctic Monkeys. Maybe weird intolerance is an American thing.
Also, if a lady wearing a small top makes your brain go where it went, I wonder what kind of concerts you’ve been to. She can wear what she likes and if some knobhead interferes with that he will face consequences.

Being on someones shoulders at a stage and a crown like this is totally amazing. The view is epic. Also I am small, so it is nice to see some more sometimes:) But only for a small amount of time of course.
You should listen to their first album, What Ever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not, absolutely great rock album, one of the best rock albuns of this century

Made even more amazing by the fact that they made the album when they were like 15/16 years old. It is a seminal album for an entire generation of working class Brits
efcdom1878 they were 19 when recording the album - still impressive though. Recording an album that is in Rolling Stones 500 greatest albums of all time at 19 is amazing.
@@goldboy150 They recorded the album when they were 19 but a lot of the songs were re-recorded from their demo prior which would have been when they were 17 I think. Insane either way ahah.

The place they performed at was Glastonbury, the biggest outside festival venue in the world, that’s why the crowds so big
I think that woman was wearing a bikini top, not a bra. She looked like she was having fun, so hopefully no one felt entitled to diminish that. Anyway, this song was fun. I've been meaning to explore more of this band's catalog. Hooray.
I think that putting that sort of trust in an alcohol and hormone fuelled crowd is brave.

If some creep decided to mess with her wardrobe that’s not lady’s fault and the guy should be beaten up by someone right there. Concerts are a place where you can wear whatever the fuck you want, and you, dear creator, only make people afraid of being themselves with comments like that.

I was there, been to Glastonbury 3 times. One of the best experiences in terms of music and good times you can ever have. The biggest and best festival in the world. Also seen Arctics 7 times. Love them

That album is one of the best ever.. Tells a story from start to finish of a lads night out up north.. Absolutely epic...

The crowd is so massive because for one it is Glastonbury festival, the biggest in the UK and one of the biggest in the world and also the Arctic Monkeys are huge especially in the UK I think they drew somewhere in the region of 120,000 that night
It's Glastonbury so the bra came off most likely anyway, dangerous wardrobe or not.

I'm not a big fan of the AM version of Dancefloor. It lacks the rawness of the earlier version. You should try the Arctic Monkeys 2006 Reading Festival gig.
glastonbury is the biggest event in summer here in uk and all top artist have played there id highly recommend looking through back on the shows headliners iam sure you will find a band you like

There are shows and then there are shows. One of the best performances I've ever seen was Paco de Lucía at Lincoln Rd. in Miami Beach. Dude came on stage, sat down on his stool, and played his ass off. He never once acknowledged the audience. Another great show was John Lee Hooker. Pops was old. Eighty something. Had to be helped onto the stage and sat down onto his stool. Plugged in that huge red thing, went into "Boom boom", and the crowd moved like you've never seen. And I've been in a few mosh pits in my time. Hooker did dance on his stool, but never moved from there. Then there's the NIN set in Saratoga at Lollapalooza '91. On a day where Butthole Surfers shot guns in the air, Reznor & Co. brought the amphitheater down, and scared the hell out of a lot of people.
You have to understand this is in England, if anyone would do that there would be a problem. This was Glastonbury festival.

i think the best part is that around 200,000 attend the festival and the towns population is around 9000 its absolutely tiny in comparison

"Slave to the microphone " makes me think of the live performances of Daði og Gagnamagnið - "Think About things", where the silly dance requires Daði to use 2 mics with astonishing accuracy.

Great review but an interesting comment on Dream Theater. I went to see them in Feb 2014 in London. There was a bunch of crowd interaction, visuals, curtain drop entrance, on screen imagery be it animated or closer shots of the artists, Mangini drum solo on Enigma Machine which engages the crowd and a lot of energy from Rudess and LaBrie too. May be worth a revisit in the near future?
